Several weeks after I bought a promotional package for spa treatments I was contacated by Ad-efx claiming that my cheque was returned because I did not specify that it was in american dollars seeing as it was from Canadian bank account to an American company.Adefx claimed that Royal bank, which is not the bank I was using when I wrote the cheque, notified them that they would not be able to accept the cheque and that they would be charging me a fee of 5.00. As well, I was told that Ad-efx themselves were charged a 10.00 fee for depositing a returned cheque that they felt I should be accountable for. They also claimed that they had a copy of my returned cheque. Adefx,however, could not tell me my bank account number because it was “unreadable””.(yeah
