Report Filed: ADATA Tiger Direct (Distributor) ADATA rebates beware ? Internet!!
Beware of fine print on ADATA rebate forms. Company cheated me out of a rebate. They said the rebate was limited to two items on the form. They also had a checklist for what to send. It even calculated the rebate amount on the form. I submitted the info electronically and sent paperwork by snail mail as required. Latter when checking on the rebate I find that they were only going to give me a rebate on one item, in the fine print they say must be sent individually. So I will only received half the amount I was entitled to. This came to light when I ordered additional items thru Tiger Direct from ADATA also with a rebate, so I decide to check on the last rebate. I will be calling Tiger Direct in the morning to cancel my new order. ADATA is now on my BLACK LIST for companies not to do business with. Tiger direct is not to blame for this. You could say it’s my fault but a simple rebate should not be deceptive.
