Report Filed: Chips Auto Repair charged repair and then said engine needed replacement next day Fairmont West Virginia!!
We took our car in when the timing belt broke. They said the head needed to be fixed/repaired. After 5 weeks in the shop they charged $1,200.00 for the service. We got the car back running load and not idling well and the next day everything shut down. Took the car back to them and they said it needed a whole new engine and the $1,200.00 repair was for not. When I asked why they didn’t check the rest of the engine they said “how would they know to check the engine””. After speaking with reputable mechanics
