I got a credit report done in August of 2010. I noticed this company on my credit report called, Data Line Credit Corp, in 2006. I disputed it because first off, I was a minor, and second, I didn’t have a car in my name. Then I did another credit report in Jan. 2012. Noticed that company was still on my credit, so this time I gave them a call. First I called Wilson Towing L.L.C, and they told me that they have new management so I HAD to call Data Line Credit Corp. When I called Data Line, the woman was extremely rude. I told her my concerns about what was on my credit. And told her that it was my father, since we have the same name, except our middle name is different. She then got defensive and told me that I MUST get in contact with Experian OR tell my father to call them up and put this against his own credit, because there’s nothing she can do, and hung up on me. I also opened a fraud case through Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and filed a police report for identity theft.
