Report Filed: Do You Spain Insurance Rip Off Internet!!
Like others before me, I rented a vehicle through these people who were acting as intermediaries for GoldCar Car Hire. The vehicle was to be collected at Fuerteventura Airport in June 2015. I was invited by DoYouSpain to pay just under u00a345.00 to cover insurance excesses, and produced this document on my arrival at Fuerteventura. GoldCar were not interested in this form and proceeded to demand an additional u20ac180,00 before they would release the car. On returning the car a week later I was charged for the fuel I had used, so I have no idea what the u20ac180,00 was for. I have made repeated requests to DoYouSpain via email, ( I have even been given a Customer Service reference number) but no one has been back to me in 5 months. I feel that like many others, this company uses distance and you being back home to contact everyone very easily. Avoid like the plague !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
