I bought a defective 2004 Vovlo XC90 T6 and dealer was fully aware of the defect. The dealer try to cover up the issue by claiming inability to replicate the problem when I brought the issue to their attention few days after I took delivery of the car.It took multiple visits and video evidence provided by me for the dealer to acknowledged that a major repair is needed. Both turbo are leaking oil and need to be replaced Total repair $4400 Details:Under specific condition. On July 14th I took delivery of 2004 Volvo T6 from Fields Volvo in Northfield IL. I received We owe you list of items that was promised to be fixed.I dropped the car off the next day. The dealer have no loaners available when I arrived so I was provided with a used 2009 Volvo XC90 from the used car lot. At the time I was assured that it will take no longer than 3 days. It was fine with us since we had planned a road trip and would like to drive our new car the following weekend. After 3 days I inquired for the first time about the status, I was told that parts have been ordered. After a week I inquired again and I’ve advised our sales rep about my upcoming trip and that we needed the car. We were offered to pick up our car but 3rd row seats was still not functioning. Since we needed the 3rd row seats we settle with an offer to continue using the loaner car. We went out of town on July 21 and comeback on July 28th.After returning I inquired about the car again and I was told that wrong parts has been ordered. Finally weekend of august 11 we picked up our car. After almost a month one of the promised items that supposed to be fixed was not, we were explained that this item is too expensive to fix. Without further delay we decided to take the car home. I comeback couple days later to complain about excessive smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. On the first appointment dealer couldn’t replicate the problem.Few days later I was pulled over by a police, suspecting that my car was on fire. That time i shot a video and set up another appointment i used video as an evidence. Only then dealer acknowledged that a major repair is needed.
