Report Filed: Just Breaks Shoddy and Dangerous Work. Palm Harbor Florida!!
I took my 06 Pontiac G6 in to have break work done back at the end of January the first part of Feb of this year, they quoted me almost $900 worth of repairs, however not having that kind of money I worked with them to get just the basics done that I could afford at the time. When we returned to get the car my wife drove home and when we arrived my wife told me I needed to drive the car because the breaks had no pressure and went all the way to the floor inorder to stop the car. I then drove it around the parking lot and immediately called the location who told me to bring it back in and they’d check it out. I figured great their going to make sure they didn’t miss something. Ok now is where it gets intresting, on the way back I had to drive down a very busy highway and when I approaced a intersection..a busy one mind you..anyways I started to break to stop only to find out that my breaks went all the way to the floor and the car wasn’t slowing down muchless stopping, I had to use my emergency break to stop the car in the middle of the intersection and nearly was t-boned. After managing to make it back to the location they checked the car to find that somehow during their earlier repairs they had “accidentally”” managed to puncture the break line in the car and they replaced the break line at no charge..thanks guys.. Later that day I contacted their corporate office to complain about this
