My 1999 Kia Sportage is the biggest piece of Garbage I have ever owned! BUYER BEWARE!! Kia does not stand behind their products! I am currently in the Lemon Law process. So far Kia has done all it can to try to weasel it’s way out of responsibility for this LEMON. I have the same problems I have seen so many other Kia owners complain of….the engine light, idles up to 3000 rpm for no reason, stalls in 5th gear, the rear differential has gone out 3 times, the door locks have fallen in the doors, the rear door wont close all the way so it sounds like a wind tunnel while driving. And the list goes on. I filed the initial repurchase/replace paperwork with KIA and they took the FULL 40 days allowed to get back to me to say they would not do either. When I sent my Lemon Law paperwork in to request an arbitration hearing, all of a sudden I hear from Kia again, saying they would like the opportunity to review my repair receipts. So, I held off the arbitration hearing (in good faith that they would review my paperwork and make it right) they took 45 more days and told me “the alleged nonconformities do not substantially impair the use
