Several Neighbors and I pooled our money to have our lake shores treated for weeds. Lake Management Inc. was paid for this process. After several months of no treatment I asked them for a refund. By this time the weeds had already taken over, summer was basicly gone and treatment would have been pointless. Their excuse for the major delay was that they were waiting on the DNR for a permit that they apply for using the homeowners name in. We sold our home and moved before any treatment was applied to our shore line. Lake Management to this day still has not refunded our money and when I called them they were very rude to me and said if they were to refund at this point they would only refund $75.00 of the original $160.80. Their excuse: my portion of the DNR permit that took forever to get is not refundable under any surcomstance. Lake Management also went ahead and treated my old property after I sold it; months after cancelling their service and requesting a refund.
