Keep in mind I have been a great customer for years through my broker. I paid a renewal fee of $343.00 on September 15 as my broker told me that was the correct amount. On September 26 Maidstone sent me notice in the mail that I underpaid and they cancelled me. I tried calling and faxing proof of timely payment to no avail as they refuse to correct their mistake. They told my broker that I only needed to pay $193.00. The rest of the money was fee for my broker so $343.00 total. Now they say they never said that and have no notes they even spoke to my broker. I have to pay for another Insurance while I wait for them to reimburse my money. Steer clear away from them. They do not care how loyal you are they will not work with you. My broker is waiving his fee for the new Insurance because this was not my fault. I would love to see Maidstone lose their License to sell Insurance in NY. They are located in Mineola NY and are the worst company I have ever dealt with.
