Mountain Rehabilitation Services: Poindexter Curtis W MD

If there was a way I could rate this POS doctor a worse rating I would. I am from Illinois and I had to fly to Las Vegas to help my poor mother get some help. She got hurt and for privacy reasons I will not say her name and the details of how she got hurt. What I will tell you is what type of doctor he really is! I am beyond disgusted how someone like him still has a license to treat people who are hurt or sick. I will make sure that I write a bad review everywhere I could to make sure people know who he really is and does. To start with I am talking about Curtis W. Poindexter who cowardly didn’t come out of his office to see my mom at her last scheduled appointment. Which by the way is called patient abandonment which is a form of medical malpractice; abandonment of a case by a physician without sufficient notice or adequate excuse is a dereliction of duty, and if injury results there from, the physician may be held liable in damages. His reasoning for his negligence was that he had a policy that nobody is allowed to enter with his patients. My mom only knows Spanish and needed a translator and even though I am her daughter he did not want me in the room. Never in my life have I been treated so badly and discriminated against. Both my mom and I are citizens of the US. Nobody no matter what race you are should be treated like an animal. I have reported him to the Nevada State Board of medical examiners for his injustice. He is working for the insurance company’s not to help his patients. I am sure he has a mother and I hope to God that he realizes that karma is a b*. Money isn’t everything you miserable pos! You are suppose to help people to who are sick and hurt. Your patients go to you for help and trust you as a suppose physician! I work in the medical field for 12 years now and never have I known of any doctor treating their patients they way you treated my mom and others I’m sure. She’s been in pain for some time now. If he thought I would just walk out and do nothing he was very mistaken. The real reason why he didn’t want me in the room is very obvious. He didn’t want a witness that knew English to be in the room with her because he didn’t care about her pain or to treat her properly. It is very sad that people like him get away with this. What type of person does that?
