I was called November 9th approximately 3:30 regarding an extended vehicle warranty i had spent more than 2 hours on the phone asked many questions i was told at the end of the conversation to bring peace of mind to me that i pay the deposit of $195 and that i have 30 days to cancel just call customer service and they will refund my money no hassles. I asked to read the policy they said i have to pay the deposit to officially get the policy sent to the email with the policy notification. So after paying and reviewing the policy along with complaints online i was able to determine i was not happy with the agreements and i called 11/13/15 to cancel which was a hassle. I called customer service they told me i need to talk to a supervisor after 2 hours of trying, i finally got through to a supervisor who advised me i could get a refund after he enters the notes. After talking to Mr Nelson and Edgar they advised i need to call customer service back and ask for a refund. I called 11/16/2015 was advised by customer service that i must fill out a form they will email and then i must mail it to a po box. Then i will be notified of a refund. This is why i was so hesitant at the beginning is because of this type of bait and switch services. Lying and withholding information until the customer pays is a true bait and switch type of business. What part of all this is no hassle? If the customer service rep told me the process for the refund up front instead of making it seem like everything is hassle free i would have declined to sign up on all levels with a do not call me back. Why does the business withhold the vehicle service agreement unless you pay first with a calming donu2019t worry you can cancel with a full refund. This is a how I feel true bait and switch organization that led me to believe after 2 hours of talking to them that if I put a deposit down and didn’t like the agreement they sent me in the email I have 30 days for a no hassle full refund. The problem is that you cant view the agreement according to them unless you pay for a contract.
