Even though RED Auto Protection is one of the largest sellers of Vehicle Service Contracts in the United States–employing directly and indirectly over 50 employees, we got that way by taking care of our customers. About a year ago to the day I purchased a policy from Red Auto Protection, I was hesitant and must say the sales women was convincing, I forget her name. I actually called in 3 months after the purchase to cancel, I felt as if the policy purchased did not provide the coverage I needed or expected. After speaking with customer service they advised me it was the best possible coverage for my vehicle and I had already exceeded the mileage for that policy and would not be able to purchase that specific policy if I canceled today. They could provide a policy for me, but the coverage would be less than I already had, I kept the policy but did some research of my own, they were correct no one could provide me with better coverage than I had and the policies offered by other companies covered less. I decided not to cancel and as luck would have it today, I am picking up my car fromn the dealership, paying nothing more than

Again, I did not write the above complaint. The above complaint, like the other “rounds” of complaints was all posted on November 14th-15th, 2014. We terminated a management-level employee around this time (the event occurred on November 14th, 2014). It would appear that the string of negative reviews is a response to that employees termination. If you are truly a customer, please contact me so I can see what we did wrong to make you frustrated enough to post a review on this site, numerous times. I will be happy to compensate you for your time in the form of a gift card or other compensation. If something truly frustrated you, I want to know how I may be able to fix it. As I have put in previous posts, RED Auto Protection cares about customer service. Any customer who has a negative experience should tell me, by calling me directly at (913) 815-8610 ext 1001 or via e-mail at [email protected] If we did not care about customer service, I would not give customers my contact information. Furthermore, the other reviews on this site were posted by customers (other than the one by me, which I sign) that we encouraged to post on this site after having a positive experience. One important fact to remember, is scamorg is not necessarily a reliable web site. It is an anonymous blog that is actually a Russian-owned company. Ripoff report and the Better Business Bureau are reliable sites, because they require customers to put in their actual information to verify that they are indeed customers. Complaints on those sites are reliable. As customers can see, the only site that has any negative reviews regarding RED Auto Protection is scamorg, because they do not require verification. This means anyone–including ex-employees (we have over 50 employees) can go online to try to damage our reputation. We maintain an “A-” rating with the BBB and have only had 6 complaints (which have been resolved) and have been verified by Rip Off Report.com As you can see, the negative complaints were all posted within 2 days of each-other. Both “rounds” of negative reviews were as well. Furthermore, they were non-productive, as they did not accurately describe the customer experience.
