Dr. Peter Mulhern, a 60-year-old orthopedic surgeon from Lady Lake, was detained during a prostitution investigation, according to Villages-News.com. According to the report, Dr. Peter Mulhern made an appointment to meet with a woman at the Sleep Inn motel in Wildwood. He believed the woman to be a prostitute and was willing to pay $300 for sex with her. He had earlier sent texts expressing his wish to meet. But he didn’t know that he was going to be meeting with a Sumter County Sheriff’s Officer.

Two female undercover cops participated in the operation and posted sexually provocative images to a website.

Many people were taken into custody at the Sleep Inn hotel. The individuals apprehended were involved in setting up sex-related contacts with undercover deputies. The operation was designed to end any illegal activity that was taking place in the area.

Michele Adee, a 55-year-old Village of Duval resident, was taken into custody after arranging a meeting with an undercover police officer online. According to reports, Adee demanded $75 for a sexual session. Despite being charged with prostitution, she was freed on a $2,000 bond.

  • Nicole Amanda Ammirati, a 28-year-old Belleview resident, offered her services in exchange for $200.
  • Heather Dawn Douglass, a 32-year-old Belleview resident, also volunteered her services for $200.
  • Qwenshatta Kenyonta Damon, a 23-year-old Ocala resident, offered to pay $100.
  • She is also charged with driving while ineligible since she drove a 2007 Chevy Equinox to the meeting.

Gordon Siler McClure’s Arrest

In connection with the operation, Ocala resident Gordon Siler McClure, 41, was also taken into custody. McClure reportedly made arrangements for one of the women’s transportation to the hotel where the unlawful activities were conducted. The constable walked over to McClure, who seemed uncomfortable. When his automobile was checked, a loaded.22 caliber semi-automatic handgun was found. McClure was already facing criminal charges in Marion County.
