Former President Trump slams President Biden, calling the present administration a “failure” in a statement released Monday, a day before Biden is anticipated to declare his plans to compete for re-election in 2024.

“You could put together the five worst presidents in American history and they would not have done the damage Joe Biden has done to our Nation in just a few short years,” Trump stated in a long statement on Monday. “Not even remotely close.”

Trump mentioned a number of challenges that Biden faced during his first two years in office, including inflation, immigration, crime, and education. Trump also mentioned Biden’s foreign policy record, mentioning the recent US troop departure from Afghanistan and the eventual Taliban takeover, the Russia-Ukraine war, and ongoing problems with China.

“With such a disastrous and failed presidency, it is almost impossible to imagine Biden running for reelection.” “You remember what happened in the last election: they cheated and rigged the election,” Trump stated in a statement. “But I promise you this: when I stand on that debate stage and compare our records, it will be the worst nightmare of the Radical Democrats because there has never been a record as bad as theirs, and our country has never been through so much.”

“In all of American history, there has never been a greater contrast between two successive administrations.” “Ours is greatness, and theirs is a failure,” Trump continued.

Finally, Trump stated, “With your election support, we will defeat Joe Biden in 2024.” We are going to save our economy. Inflation will be crushed. We will put an end to the assault on our southern border. We shall reestablish the dignity of our country. And we shall prevent World War III from taking place. We will all work together to make America great again!”

Former President Trump, who began his third presidential campaign at his Mar-a-Lago home last November, became the first current or former U.S. president to be criminally prosecuted earlier this month after being indicted in New York City.

Trump was accused in connection with a six-figure payment made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election by his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to hush her allegations that the two had an affair, which Trump denies. Trump, who is accused of falsifying company documents on 34 felony counts in Manhattan, pleaded not guilty to all charges during his arraignment.

Trump’s statement comes as Biden informed reporters on Monday that he will officially launch his reelection campaign “very soon,” with many anticipating him to do so as early as Tuesday.

For months, Biden and his advisers have stated that he plans to run again, though uncertainties about the timing of the announcement and concerns about Biden’s age have lingered. In November, Biden turned 80 years old.
