We took our engine to Aaron’s Racing Engine in 2006 off of our boat, after it blew up. He told us it would take 2 weeks to do a full rebuild with all new parts and a new block. Five weeks later, after my wife called him and told him we would be there to get the engine either fixed or not, he had the motor ready. The night before the phone call the engine was not complete and part of the motor was outside. We put the motor in our boat and took it out on the lake in 2007. We only ran it 10 hours and the motor blew up again. On 05/28/07, the day after it blew up, he told us it would take 5 weeks to fix. It has now been 7 weeks, and no motor. He has made several comments to friends of ours about us and the motor. I went to pick up the boat two weeks ago so I could take the damaged motor out of the boat and I noticed the battery was missing. My wife called Aaron to pick up the battery on her way home from work. The battery was in the drivers side seat of a mustang behind his shop. He did not have my permission to use my battery for anything. He told me Friday 07/21/07 he would call me Saturday when he got back into town with my new engine block. He did not call. I went by his shop several times about my engine and keep getting excuse after excuse. I explained to him I was selling the boat due to an unexpected hospital stay for my son. While I was filing this report Aaron called, he now says he doesn’t have a block for it now. We asked for a refund of the motor and he refused. We paid him $1300.oo in 2006 for a new motor that blew up. It’s now time to either get our motor or get a refund without all the excuses. Cpldee Paducah, KentuckyU.S.A.
