I submitted paperwork for my Acuvue rebate in April 2014 and as of today, August 28, 2014, I am still waiting for the rebate. The website asserts a 8-10 week waiting period and we are now entering 20 weeks+. I have called the rebate center several times and the representatives suggest the company is going through some financial problems which is causing the delays. Beware of Acuvue products and their false advertising! Although I have ordered Acuvue lenses every year for the past 10 years, I will never order this product again and would caution anyone else from doing so. .

24Aug2018. New lens out of packaging, was misshaped (not a bowl like shape) I put a lens in my left eye, and it didn”t feel quite right, I wore the lens approximately 7 hours, the lens was mis-aligned, was dry and “scratchy”. After removing the lens, my L eye hurt, and was painful especially when I blinked. I had a yellow sticky discharge on the evening of 24Aug2018, which disappeared within one day. The eye pain lasted to 28Aug2018 (without further discharge). I”m wondering if that lens had a small tear. I still have the lens, if you would like for me to send it back. For 3 years in a row I’ve submitted rewards after purchasing a years worth of contacts. Each year the submission is denied and when I call they approve it with no changes leading me to believe it’s an automatic denial process. Once it gets approved it’s a nightmare to obtain the card. This year the address was incorrect and could not be rectified, I made numerous calls and sent emails to Hello World and got either no response or no assistance. I’m done using Acuve contacts for myself and my children.

Hello, This is regarding the Acuvue Rewards Program. I bought a year supply of contacts and my doctor gave me a $50 cash back rewards flyer. The flyer directed me to this site to then create a login, and pretty much give them ALL of my info. Name, Address, phone #, email. Im sure they got my IP address as well. When I was done, I decided to reach out and ask if I can get a check please (since the $50 will be going towards my eye doctor bill). they directed me to 3 different phone numbers, most left me on hold, promised a call back, and never called me back. I sent a few messages out and they said they could would not honor a check only a prepaid visa card. I do not want this. This left me puzzled. as I begged for them to please issue me a check, they would not honor this request for a loyal customer for many years. I am now letting the public know, DONT bother going through there rewards process! it”s a sham! I”m not in the process of filing a claim with the BBB as there are 2 issues here. 1) false advertising (no check). 2) they have almost everything they need to capture my identity, and they will be profiting off of it. (selling my information). If I receive a single advertisement from them in the mail, I will probably think about legal council as now it”s harassment.

I have used acuvue for 20 years. Today I grabbed the two contacts I was going to for the day and when I ripped it off from the rest of the row one of my contacts was stuck between two and ripped. I just bought a brand new case of Acuvue Oasis contacts, on the first day I was experiencing eye irritation, very minor. I properly removed the contact from my right eye and experienced an excrushiating pain, when to the hospital to find out that the severe pain was from a corneal ulcer in the middle-left of my cornea, after days of severe pain, the doctors have considered me thier main case and informed me that once i heal i will have a permanent scare on my cornea and will require laser surgury. All this from one stupid contact. I demand some compensation for my pain which is still going on right now.

I ordered a pair of trail contacts for my new priscription as now i have Astigmatism in my eye. So my doctor recommended me to have astimatism contacts..So i placed an order for a trail pair at first to try on and then i would order the supply of contacts for a year.. I purchased a 6 month supply of the 2 week contacts back in April. When I opened up a new left contact lens from the box it was ripped then I opened another one and it was also ripped. I am usually extremely satisfied by these contacts but was extremely upset to discover not one but two ripped contacts in the same box. Has this ever happened before? I have been wearing these contacts for many years and never had this problem.

Although I have been a loyal Acuvue user for the last 10 years, I will not be purchasing future products from them due to their misleading advertising.
