They overprescribe drugs to their patients so they can fill their pockets and squeeze more money out of their patients. I’m convinced that they might have a tie-up with pharmacies. They had prescribed my mom too many sleeping pills. It was as if she was supposed to take them all day and sleep 24/7. She had complained about the medicine many times saying that she hates the effect it has on her and how it makes her feel sleepy and tired all the time. Then one day, she got unconscious in her sleep and we had to take her to the hospital, that’s when my family and I found out that the doctors at Alaska Family Care were scammers. They put my mom’s life at risk. She could’ve died. She fell unconscious because of the side effect of the pills she was supposed to take. Not only that, the dosage was way over the required one. She has had the problem of insomnia before but this was something else. The drugs made her sleep so bad that she wouldn’t wake up for 7-8 hours minimum. When I found out that it was the fault of the doctors at Alaska Family Care, I got mad. I went straight to their office but it was closed so I called Dr. Loretta, my mom had her number saved.
When I told her about my mom’s accident she got all defensive and started saying things like ‘I’m sorry to hear that but you should know it’s not my fault’. She also told me to bring my mom to her place someday so she could review her condition. Oh no, I won’t be making that mistake again. These guys are running a scam by overprescribing medicine to their patients. Those who are too innocent fall prey to the petty schemes of these guys. They trust these guys and end up losing a lot. These people are making addicts. My mom has been availing the services of these people for at least 6 months now. If she’d run out of her sleeping pills, she’d get panic attacks and anxiety. She couldn’t sleep and stay awake with anxiety. So I had to take her to the clinic of these guys whenever she’d run out of pills. I was so busy with work and all that I didn’t get the time to realize that these guys were toying with my mom’s life. If you’re looking for family care physicians, please avoid these people. They won’t do you any good. My mom is out of the hospital and now she needs to get rid of the reliance she as developed on those pills. She’s getting treated for that. As for these guys, I’ve contacted them a couple of times and demanded a refund. These people were charging my mom a fortune. She has paid them thousands of dollars in visiting fees alone apart from the pills and the phone consultations they charge for.
