I adopted a rescue puppy from HSNT and they provided a list of vet participants who offer a free first health examination for your pets. Alliance Animal Health Center was on the list and I called in for my puppy’s checkup. The lady on the phone scheduled me for the next day and I reached there at the scheduled time. I had to wait in the waiting room for a long time because they were short on staff and there were only two vets available at that time. I went to the front desk while I was waiting and inquired about the delay, the receptionist told me that a 40 to 45 minute wait is a common thing and I should wait patiently. She was annoying and rude. I was called in the examination room after an hour. The room was smelly and un-sanitized. My puppy seems to have an autoimmune disorder and being in an unclean environment was very dangerous for him. The vet came in and examined my puppy for less than 5 min and diagnosed him with a serious illness. He explained that the puppy has had serious allergies for the past few years that have resulted in an ear infection. He injected my puppy with some drugs and he loudly cried in pain because the vet was quite ruthless and did not seem to care about the innocent animal at all. They don’t give a single f*ck about the pet\’s ailing condition and are very uncaring with the animals. He even claimed that the puppy is dehydrated and needed a drip when I adopted him from a healthy environment and there is no way that the Adoption Center wasn’t giving him proper fluids. The vet even talked me into getting some unnecessary tests done when his intention was just to get more money out of my pockets. The cost of the test was just crazy high and I was fooled into getting the tests done when my puppy didn’t even need to get them done. The check out was a mess as well. When I was leaving after the examination one of the staff members followed me and asked me to pay the bill for the check-up. I went to the front desk and inquired about them being the participants in the free health examination offer and the lady there said they have stopped participating for a few months now. They should have told me about this when I checked in because I told them that I am here at this hospital to avail the free checkup offer but I was never told that the offer is not valid anymore. This is a pure scam because I went in thinking that I won’t have to pay for the examination fee and they never told me about the payment issue. I am never going back to this Animal Center because they offer the worst services ever.
