Andrew Kornstein MD

Dr Andrew Kornstein had me write a check to add a procedure while I was on the operating room table! This is how my surgery started. I went in for a breast augmentation. He had suggested a procedure which i had never heard of, a reverse abdominalplasty. I have since come to earn that no respectable plastic surgeon will perform this procedure. He had me under general anesthesia for more than eight hours. i spent the night at his office on Fifth Ave. in what appeared to be a closet. I was told I had to be picked up before 8 am the next morning. When I returned a week later to have my bandages removed, I started to scream and cry when I looked in the mirror. My right breast and upper midriff was horribly deformed looking! I felt like I belonged in a horror movie. Trish, Dr. Kornstein’s nurse assured me that everything would soften and fall into place. She is also a liar. I did not get better. I got worse. The wounds underneath my breasts opened. my right breast was engorged and retaining fluid. It is almost two and a half years since my surgery with Dr. Kornstein. I have had to undergo three surgeries, five different procedures to remove fluid from my breast and more lazer treatments and injections on the horrible scars that he left me with than I can count! I had to have a visiting nurse come to my home for two months to clean and pack wounds under my breasts, so they could heal from the inside out! I will never be the same. Fortunately, an amazing doctor by the name of Dr. Sharon Dxxxxxxx has treated me and performed reconstructive surgeries on me to correct what Dr. Kornstein did to me! Dr. Dxxxxxxx is my angel! Dr. Kornstein took no accountability in what happened to me. I urge anyone thinking of having surgery with Dr. Kornstein to think long and hard before you put yourself in his hands!
