I bought an alarm system phyton from them and I was told it was life time waranty when i got it and new that just cam out in February of 2004, after a month and a half I had a problem with the remote it wouldn’t work so when I took it back they told me that there is only 30 day waranty on the remote. and they would sell me another one for $ 50.00 and he also said. Wow this is an old remote I heavn’t seen one like this in a while. Now remember the same guy put this in my truck only a month ago. So I asked him you are the one that installed it for me to which he said he installs so many alarm systems that it seem it was longer than that. I went ahead and bought the remote and now 6 months later I am heaving problems with the remote. I tried to take it back and he told me that it will cost me $125.00 for a new remote. I told him I would think about it and get back at him. In the mean time I checked around with other alarm company to see if i can find a cheaper remote. And I found out that the alarm system I got should have been waranty for life and the remote for 2 years. And also that I have a 2 year old alarm system installed in my truck. And I was shown the new system they had. I imediately called Arizona Tint and Alarm and told them what I found out to which he said their company has the right to make their own waranty and that my alarm is not covered only for 30 days. I went to another alarm company that deals with same alarm system and they are sending my remote in for waranty. I called direct electronics and complained about the matter to which I received a call and they told me they would invastigate the matter. I got a call in which he said that the installer said I brought in a remote that I abused to which i told him straight out hes a lier because i only use the truck on weekends 6 or 7 times before the remote stopes working. He said he doesn’t know how they stay in bussiness if they do this to customers but he will invastigate it further. John Glendale, ArizonaU.S.A.
