Aspen Dental Reviews & Complaints
1. 12/11 first appointment 2. 12/12 second appointment 3. 12/13 extraction a. Appointment at 3:30 did not get to room until 4:00 b. Received first Novocain shot around 4:30-Dentist left to attend another patient c. Came back later not sure of time and said I needed a booster without checking, then he left again to attend another patient. . d. Came back and said I needed another booster, again without checking, then left to attend another patient, twice he would position the overhead light on bright right in my eyes. I tried putting my hand up to cover my eyes and he saw them and said I will fix that in a minute e. Finally came to do extraction with nurse and said I needed another booster. When extractions were done he said he needed to stitch the left side, during the stitching the suture string was laid all over my face and eyes and it appeared he had difficulty tying the sutures. All the teeth I have had pulled I have never had suture string put all over my face. I could not believe it. f. The assistant saw that I was shaking and asked if I was ok? She said dr. she is shaking I”m worried, he was not. g. Then he left and got my temporary, put it in and said, “looks like teeth to me” and he left h. The assistant helped me to wipe the blood dripping from my mouth and cleaned me up as best she could before I had to walk out to waiting room to leave. I drove myself home longest drive I ever had! i. I left office around 5:30 4. Numbness in my tongue did not go away until 1:30 am on 12/14 I could not drink without my tongue and I was extremely thirsty tried using a spoon to get some water down my throat but choked when I tried that, just had to wait until tongue thawed. I also had a bloody nose on 12/14 and on 12/14. Never had this before after tooth extractions. 5. Next appointment was on 12/15 had different dentist. I told him I could not wear temporary it did not fit and the front teeth were too long, my teeth had never looked like this plus I could not eat yet, still on broth and could not talk with temporary in. He filed the front teeth down a bit and at least I could talk but still too tall. Plus it did not last so took them out again. There was no one available to adjust temporary due to he was on vacation 6. Then on 12/16 my gums and lip were still numb and swollen, however I could feel something on the right side of my gum with my tongue. It was really bugging me because I could not get it because of the numbness could not feel it when I put fingers in mouth to try and retrieve it. I could not figure out what it could be because I had only been able to drink soup broth, nothing solid. I was still using ice pack at this time. 7. Then at 11:24 I finally was able to get my tongue to pull it up above my lip only to realize it was a suture. I was shocked, did not realize I had stitches in right side. Then at 2:07 it fell out and I retrieved it. I took pictures of this. 8. Next appointment was on 12/19 I had same dentist that did extractions. I was still in pain. I did not have my temporary in again during this visit. I explained again that the temporary did not fit, could not eat yet or talk with them in again. He checked my mouth and said oh well you just had extractions. I could not believe that he could have forgotten that he had done the procedure just 5 days earlier. Then he took the temporary and made some adjustments and I had some type of soft liner put in them. Still the front teeth are too long. I was so upset by then I just wanted out of the office and wanted to go home. I have lost 7 pounds and I am just now (12/26) able to eat soft foods and foods I can squish on the roof of my mouth and swallow. 9. I cannot afford to lose any more weight! Plus I had to take another week off work without pay. I scheduled my last 5 days vacation to have this done. It is not like I have never had an extraction before these were the last 4 teeth I had. My upper teeth were all pulled in one visit and I did not go through this. Plus Aspen pulled my bottom teeth all but these four on one day and I did not go through this. I got a partial and I was very happy with the results. 10. I had to cancel on the Company Christmas Party and on the family Christmas dinner. 11. On 12/29 I had another appointment at which time, Dr. McDonald decided to do a soft lining due to the fact that the temporary denture was so big and not working. He told the assistant that my gums were not healed so they would do the soft liner and then schedule me in to have a new denture once my gums were healed. The pain from this soft lining was excruciating! It burned so bad I couldn”t stand it and I had to leave it for 5 minutes. The longest 5 minutes of my life! 12. My next scheduled appointment Dr. McDonald was no longer working at Aspen Dental. I had a new dentist. 13. New dentist next visit. He was very nice and wanted me to bring in pictures when I complained that the denture was not even close to what my teeth normally looked liked. He wanted an idea of what my teeth looked like prior to extractions. I did so. He agreed the denture was totally wrong and said I needed a new denture everything would need to be redone from scratch. 14. New mold was made and new denture was made. The new doctor told me that I could come in on Saturday and they would fix all problems with new denture. I asked him 5 times if the appropriate people would be in on Saturday because in the past these people did not work on Saturdays. Even the Assistant questioned him. But he insisted that everyone would be there. I made sure he knew that I would have to reschedule my Saturday to come in and I just wanted to make sure they would be there. He again insisted they would be. I came in on Saturday and not only were the people who worked on dentures not there but neither was he. I said there was no reason for me to be there and I left. 15. I came in on next visit and was told I had a new dentist. His name was Dr. Chow. The other dentist was no longer working at Aspen. The assistant told me that she tried to tell him no one was scheduled on Saturday but he told her to shush. She asked me if I remembered that and of course I did. She said in all her years working there no dentist had ever told her to shush! 16. Dr. Chow tried his best to make this horrible situation right. Avery, the accountant, and I had several conversations about the bill at this time I had a $281(?) bill. I told her that I was not going to pay for their mistake and I would not pay for balance of the original ($281?) bill until the mistake was corrected. She agreed with me and said she understood completely and would take care of it. At first the bookkeeper would always call me to desk before I left to ask about the bill, I told her she needed to speak with Avery that we had an agreement towards the end they did not even call me to bookkeeper any longer. 17. The pain I was having with this denture just would not go away, it was in the area where the extractions were made. I asked Dr. Chow why I was having this pain. 2 hours after having denture in I was in pain, 4 hours I would have to take an Advil, by end of 8 hours, even with Advil, I couldn”t wait to get home to take them out. I do not eat on days I have to physically be at plant or orchards. (The company has allowed me to work from home) They took X-rays to see if I had part of root, or bone fragments left in gums. I did not. Pain was so bad and located where the teeth were extracted, plus I was having trouble with my lip quivering. Dr. Chow said it could be nerve damage, which could go away in 3-6 months, maybe a year and maybe I would have for rest of my life. It has been 9 months and pain is still really bad. I send my assistant to all conventions now, and if I have to take a client or auditor to lunch I do not eat. If I am able to order something soft I sit on outside of table so I go to restroom and put in more Polident. Usually I end up asking for take home container. 18. I kept getting bills and the balance kept going up, I called Avery and was told she was not in. I called back later and was told she was no longer working there. Samantha had taken her place. I asked to speak with Samantha and she wanted to know when I was going to take care of this bill. I asked her to review my file and told her about Avery”s agreement with me. She read the file and continued to press me for the money I told her I did not feel responsible for this bill I was still in pain and if I needed to I would seek legal help but I would rather the two of us work this out. I told her my concern was that the bill would go to collection and she told me she would put a hold on the bill and would call to give me update. She never did. I called her 3 times from the end of June to July 12th, she was never in, either with a customer, at lunch or had day off. I received collection notice on 7/27/18. I never received an update and i should not have had to pay for their mistake especially since they said i would not.

12/10 new patient x-rays and consultation I got my xrays and then was seated in consultation area. Dr. Patel at Jackson MI location didn”t even greet me when she entered the room and said “filling, filling, filling, root canal, filling, filling, filling, root canal, filling filling filling…” they told me I needed 9 fillings and 2 root canals. I was in zero pain whatsoever and absolutely shocked. I was crying and she just said “stop don”t cry.” they immediately led me to the payment office where they signed me up for a 2 year payment plan while I was still crying. After I had time to process all they had just told me and talk to friends and family I decided to get a 2nd opinion from my regular dentist. He was appalled. He said I did have a few VERY SMALL cavities. Even the largest one was considered smaller than average size. He said I absolutely need no root canals and I am not the first one to come to him after going to Aspen and being told they need a lot of work. staff was very rude to me over the phone and in person when I went to pick up my xrays and cancel my appointments with them.

2015 went to Aspen dental cause a bridge I had broke. So the cheapest why was to have a partial done…2400 dollars later the bridge did not fit right teeth shorter the the other side. I was so dissatisfied that I did pay them the balance owe until 2018 my front tooth broke in my gums again the cheapest way to go was to add a tooth. To the existing bridge. So I decided and thought that since they had done the bridge maybe this time they could fix it. So they added the front tooth. Once again. Very unprofessionally done. I was so disappointed. The tooth came back pink uneven. Bridge lose. Metal in the back cuts my tongue. I only put it on when I go to work. I told them how I felt. And their response was that at least I had a front tooth. I receive a bill for 462 dollars. Cause they went ahead. A did a bone graft where I told then to just put a plug doctor insisted. I told them what ever is didn”t pay I didn”t want cause I live pay check to pay check. They said not to worry insurance would pay. Out of pocket was 138 dollars. And no more bow I received a bill which I am not paying. Cause the work was very unprofessional. If I don”t get this matter resolved I plan getting a lawyer..I have lost my smile. Pink tooth in the front. Uneven teeth. Fall off when I speak have to use glue all the time. Tongue get caught on the metal in the back. I told them how depressed I am Ibut they say there is nothing they can do.

640 W Karsch Blvd Farmington, MO 63640 United States On May 22 I had all of my upper teeth pulled and all but 5 pulled on bottom for dentures and partial. To start off I wanted all of my teeth pulled but they insisted that I keep 3 teeth to hold bottom plate in, said I would regret getting all pulled due to bottom dentures won’t stay. Day of surgery they pulled all but 5 decided two of the teeth were ok! Dentist had to cut partial that was already made. He put 2 stitches in my gums . A couple days after surgery I went back to get adjusted, educated Dentist that my upper left side of face was I. extreme pain he said it was common to feel such pain! A week passed and I had a knot on left side of face! Told him again that the pain on left side was extreme dentist reply was to give it time that there was probably little slivers of bone trying to work it’s way out! Another week or to goes by and knot is not showing any signs of going down so once again I returned to him and explained the pain he replied it was nothing I did! Several more weeks in pain and still couldn’t eat due to the misfit of dentures and severe pain in left upper jaw! I felt something hard in my gums so as the dentist had explained there could be lil slivers of teeth I got my tweezers and started to pull it out! I was in shock because this white mass came out of my gums! It was the lining they had put in my mouth right after getting them pulled ( have photo of it, I took the piece of hardened material straight to Aspen! I showed it to the office manager and she said what is that? I told her I would like to know as well! So I patiently waited for the dentist to see me! He came in and ask me what I needed I explained the incident to him and he said it was normal! Not believing this for a minute! I kept getting sick with bad headaches so I went to the er thinking what if there is more? The dr who seen me I explained and showed her the foreign body I had pulled out of my mouth! She wanted to know what it was I explained to her and she proceeded to tell me she wanted me to have a mri or ct to make sure that there wasn’t anymore in my gums or anywhere else! I explained to her of the pain I was having and the headaches! This is all in medical records from er! Dr proceeded to tell me that my TMJ was causing a lot of the problem and that I needed dentures that properly fit. Next visit at dentist I explained what the dr had told me and he said I couldn’t get a better fit due to the fact that it takes a year for them to heal! I also complained everyone I was in there that I didn’t care for the dentures he said I would like the permanent pair better! In January I got it was finally time to get my permanent teeth! I got the upper dentures and I told the dentist that the teeth looked to big to me. He said they looked nice. I asked where my partial was and his reply was I didn’t think you were getting the partial! Do I had to wait to get them! I got the partial several days later and told the dentist I was not happy because there was gaps between my real teeth and the partial, and gums of my partial were purple! I was on my lunch break from my job and didn’t have time to argue told him I would be back to discuss what was my next option because I was dissatisfied with them! I made the appointment on my day off which was several weeks later when I went back it was a new dentist! I explained I wasn’t happy at all that I really just wanted my money back! I told him the gums were discolored and he said after time they fade it hadn’t been a month since I received them! He was telling me that he could make me happy patient but not that day he didn’t have time he was booked up! I made yet another appointment and at this time he said he was going to fix the gaps so I said ok! He proceeded to tell dental assistant what to do! In meantime he went and seen other patients. He came back in and said let me take a look at them! He said I’m going to take them out, but wouldn’t come out they were now cemented to my other teeth! He had to chisel the partial put away from my other teeth 15-30 minutes he ask assistant why she didn’t take out already. I was very upset with this because he said it was done improper. So yet again still unhappy I made another two appointment to get the partial remade they had an excuse ever-time. A year has going by the medal on my partial broke. I called and told them I needed them fixed they proceed to tell me they are only guaranteed 6 months at time of purchase they told me upper was 7 and partial was two! They charged me 7000 dollars and I still can’t eat with them in due to the discomfort!

8/23/16 I first went to aspen Dental in Milledgeville, ga, I agreed to and signed a contract for work and for partials (upper and lower) in the amount of $ 3, 510.70. Have not been satisfied with the upper temporary partial and could never wear them more than an hour because they were so painful. They did a lot of work in my mouth and told me I would have to wear the partals for 6 months before I could get the permanent pair. They then tried to charge me an additional $ 1800.00 but when I called aspen, [protected], the area director reviewed my case and wrote that charge off saying it was their fault. and because the new dentist was rude and told me my teeth were not supposed to close in the front. Wrong, my teeth always closed in the front and it also tore the inside of my jaw when I tried to eat.( the permanent uppers did not hurt my mouth but still the tooth they removed and put in the new upper was too short) She told me I could go to the Macon, Ga office and they would fix them as they are supposed to be. But to wait and they will call me and set an appointment. Well I waited and they never called, so I called them and they had no knowledge of me from the other office. I made an appointment and the dentist said that yes the teeth were wrong and there would have to be another bottom plate made but made me an appointment to come back in the following week. When I got there they told me I would have to pay them too. I said no I would not that Aspen has a sign (one of the reasons I chose them )that they guarantee 100% satisfaction. Or I could return the lowers back to Aspen in Milledgeville, ga and get a refund and come back and pay the refund to the Macon office and the would remake the bottom plate and try to fix the short tooth too. I returned the plate to the Milledgeville office on 7/11/17 and have yet to even hear from them. I have a signed slip by the receptionist that I returned my bottom plate and that she would give them to the lady that takes care of returns as soon as she came back into the office. As of today, 7/24/17, I have heard nothing. I have been patient long enough as these problems have been ongoing for almost a year. Maybe my mistake was paying them through their finance company, so they got their money up front. or maybe my biggest mistake was walking into their office and believing them to do as they said they would do. And I have found out that all their services were way over priced. I am now considering getting a lawyer.

9/21/17 accepted treatment plan $8, 368.00 insurance discounts -4, 329 insurance benefit -1, 249 patient $2, 792.05 After $3, 600 out of pocket, ASPEN now wants additional $2, 800 out of pocket for an unnecessary replacement of a bridge. I was to believe this was in orginial treatment plan. A front tooth was chipped in removal of the bridge, which Dr. Burgess denied. Four months later recived a bill for $2, 800 for the bridge. At the time the bridge was replaced I was told I had paid in full. I believe they push so many patients through each day they are prone to mistakes. Aspen wants me to pay for their mistake. I will be joining a class action lawsuit.

A 75$ procedure is being charged as 135$ and the business. Went in for an extraction, got charged 252$ before getting seen. Was told the extraction was 135$. The dentist was overly aggressive while handling my tooth causing it to shatter. This, conveniently, added up the entirety of the 252$ charge I received prior to seeing any doctor or getting any x-rays done. I truly believe they charged their highest price for an extraction, and ensured that the quote would be fulfilled by shattering my tooth resulting in a surgical removal as opposed to a a simple extraction. I’m not sure if this is the path I should take to address this issue, but I feel the employees were focused on obtaining a price goal as opposed to offering competent and fair medical procedures.

A dentist ordered me a specific product as a cap on front tooth. Another dentist came along a deleted the first product and replaced it with another product. When presented with the product I stated that it did not look gold and was assured that it was. Upon arrival at the dentist, I was called back and asked to sign this paper and receive a $2.00 refund for the product. After leaving I looked at the paper and found that changes had been made, I called the office to ask about the change and was again assured that I got the gold cap. But that”s not what this paper states. I want to file charges against Dr. K Rajuvelu…she made the change and apparently Dr. A. Derrick-Griffith didn”t have an issue with it because when they finally got it ready K. Rajuvelu put it on. I”m sure it was done maliciously and to defraud because Dr. K. Rajuvelu had attempted to work on my mouth in the past but I opted out. Thank You, Cathy Carr

A month previous to my appointment date I requested a routine appointment for a check up and specified routine cleaning at this office. I was told this was no problem… This would be covered for sure, after my insurance information was reviewed. I was a month over due on cleanings and wanted to get this out of the way. I placed emphasis on catching up on the cleaning!! For some reason, I was always told this was so important!! After the check up was finished I was told by, who I assumed was the dentist, if I wanted a cleaning done they would do it… Ten minutes later I was informed by a billing person that they can”t do that. You have to make an appointment and do that later… This was definitely a fast turn around!! They were interested in doing some periodontal repair later and wanted to figure out how much they could get from my insurance and evidently, to create as many visits as possible… I interrupted a trip to come back here for this_and still no cleaning was done, as promised… Nothing about requiring 2 appointments for this was mentioned in the beginning or I would have went elsewhere!! The exam indicated some periodontal repair may be necessary… I have additional coverage in effect for this, because of diabetic status… This doesn”t appear on the chart of basic benefits for my plan… I obtained a number for them to easier verify this and called back, trying to help! First of all they didn”t believe it and was once again snubbed, and gave the run-around. I have scheduled a cleaning elsewhere and the future periodontal will be elsewhere also… At least it was good to see what aspen is all about, up front!! Guess I should have paid more attention to the 100 plus negative reviews about them!

A year ago I gave Aspen Dental a great review on Google .But now I am not sure about Aspen ethics. I am a patient at Aspen Dental on South Robert Street in West St. Paul, MN. I first had my upper denture replaced and said I could not afford both upper and lower at that time. I set up a payment arrangement with my bank to start building credits towards my lower denture . A treatment plan was set up and the cost was to be $1, 354.00 after paying 9 monthly payments I set up an appointment to have the lower dentures done. I have 4 teeth remaining on the bottom which removal was included in the price. I made clear to the office worker at that time that I expected to pay the same $399.00 for the lowers as I did for the uppers it was a matter of financing and income she said she would charge me the same price as the uppers were. After my appointment a new office worker who replaced the previous one said there was a mistake and I will be charged twice the amount! I expect to pay the amount I was quoted when I first set up my treatment plan. I have the original plan and the shocking new one for collaboration should you require it. I came in today and the techs here 2 of them were nasty hateful!!! The plate they put in my mouth was way to big(a person mouth is only so big so it hurt me my jaw now feels like I got punched! The smart mouth tech said well it”s the smallest we have! WRONG! THIS DIDNT HAPPEN BEFORE!!! We will never come back here and I will tell everyone about this pathetic excuse for a dental office!!!
Aspen Dental Reviews & Complaints
About 2 years ago an Aspen dentist recommended dentures for my dental problems: Full uppers & partial lowers. The recommended plan included crowns for 4 of the remaining 6 lower teeth. At that time I asked about the advisability of removing all my teeth & getting full upper & lower dentures. I was told I would be much happier if I followed the Aspen recommendation. I followed this advice and paid about $15, 000 for the treatment which included about $10, 000 for the 4 crowns. Several weeks ago, I noticed a problem with one of my remaining lower teeth. I went back to Aspen & was examined. I was told that all the previous dental work needed to be removed & replaced with a full lower denture. The quoted cost is $4881.80.in my opinion, I was given an incredibly bad initial treatment plan recommendation by Aspen & that I paid dearly for putting my trust in Aspen. Aspen has not accepted any responsibility at all for this situation & has shown no interest in sharing the financial burden of their incorrect recommendation. Aspen seems more interested in extracting more money from me. I do not want charity. I do expect professional dental care combined with honesty, integrity, sincerity & responsibility. I find it impossible to believe that the Aspen profit sharing business model was designed to meet any of these expectations. Aspen encourages patients to submit reviews on Google & Facebook; however, the reviews shown on the Aspen website do not include the 1 & 2 star reviews & only a portion of the 3 star reviews. Check the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website to see many other negative reviews & serious complaints.

About 4 years ago I got a procedure to remove all of my teeth and get dentures. during the procedure I was not given enough sedation before they started pulling my teeth and was screaming from the pain almost breaking one of the nurses hand by holding on to it with so much force the surgan said to me ” if you do not stop screaming I will leave you here and go home” being a 17 year old kid I was scared. The procedure was supposed to go on my parents credit and they said I would owe 5000 dollars. Instead it for some reason went on my credit and i am in a load of debt. Today after 4 years of having there temporary set for 4 years and being in pain for that 4 years I went to affordable dentures they told me my bite and mouth may never be normal because aspen dental did not fit my teeth right and messed up my jaw to the point I have headaches every day. I still get calls and Bill’s from aspen dental but with how messed up they made my mouth and even my mind i have no want to pay them. Never go to aspen dental they are the worst and need to be shut down.

Advertised new patients will not be charged for x-rays. I told them my insurance company would not pay for exrays. My insurance company was billed for the x-rays. Insurance refused payment and now they are billing me for the xrays that were advertised as being free to first time new patients. It has been 4 months since date of service and I am still being billed for the x-rays even though twice I have been told that it has been written off. The insurance company has requested a corrected claim for the charges. As of 11/06/18 that has not happened.

After a dental cleaning in May 2018, at the Ruskin / Sun City, Florida. I started experiencing discomfort, I called the office to get evaluated ASAP. They gave an appointment for 6/4/18 @ 4:15, a few days later they called to reschedule my appointment to 6/7/18 @ 9am. 6/5/18 they called to reschedule again, then said it was an error. On 6/6/18 they texted me informing that I had missed my appointment. Today 6/7/18 my appointment date, I arrived early and was told that they couldn”t find my chart. after a while they finally located it. They then took x-rays of the area and told me that I would have to wait until the dentist was free since they were doing surgery. I would have to wait possibly until 11am. I informed them that it would not be possible since I had to work and asked for a refund, then left. My husband referred me to them and I don”t have any intention to return to ASPEN DENTAL again. My husband said that is considering the same in disbelief of my experience.

After being told a partial denture was my only solution since I couldn’t afford the thousands of dollars it would cost to replace two teeth, I agreed and paid up front, had four teeth pulled and the product I paid for is not what they promised. It doesn’t fit and causes me pain. I’m chewing on metal all day because the claps don’t even go where they belong. The front tooth hangs over my bottom lip showing at all times like a snaggle tooth. The gum color that is supposed to match is not even close. The back clasps are causing my entire jaw to hurt and causing me to have constant headaches. I tried to address the looks and fit issue with them well before upon wax try on and was told by male doctor I was nitpicking small stuff and after 3 try’s he convinced me the fit would be better when finished. It doesn’t fit. I’ve been back 4 times and tell them each time it doesn’t fit and they just tell me it’s my mouth and how my teeth are formed.

After days I was send to the hygienist where she cleaned, sprayed. Count teeth Then I seen the dentist and was told that I had several cavities . I said I only need a root canal today. This is work that need done. We can get it finance for you. You can get dentures to replace your already missing teeth. It like all that spraying and things the hygienist was doing was unnecessary Next I saw the finance manager and she started pu out papers. The total work was to cost 5000.00. My insurance would pay 2000.00 and was responsible for the 3000.00. When I said I couldn”t afford it She assured me they would help get fiance. As I signed those papers I was thinking I can”t afford this but it was as if a spell or something had been put on me. The temporary dentures hurt and didn”t fit. I never got the permanent dentures. I had one tooth pulled, a root canal that lasted 2years then broke. (I have another one done twenty years ago at another dentist and it”s still strongly in tact.) They did not finish the procedure that I was charged 5000.00 dollar which I still owe. A Great Big RIP Off!!! ASPEN DENTAL!!!

After my experience up and down the line, would not use Aspen Dental if my life depended on it and will write as many reviews as I can find about the experience. I am new to this area, Aspen just opened in Walgreens. Called and made appointment, provided insurance coverage at that time. During the week of the appointment started getting “urgent that I respond” text messages. Called the number indicated. After going through an IVR menagerie, spoke with someone and explained bad text message and IVR experience. The person cold transferred me to the office. Whereby I explained same thing. Was told I had to confirm the appointment with the office, which I explained I had already done through previous text messages. Was told I had to provide insurance information to office, which I explained I had already done when I made the appointment. Women in the Palatka office explained I made reservation through call center and that information provided previously did not convey. Then asked me “are you going to give me the insurance information or not”, rude. And told me she was sorry I am unhappy. That is NO apology. And I have good reason to be unhappy. If this is going to be the experience before I even get to an appointment, then forget it. Nor does it convey the problem between the reservation desk and your automated processes to the back office dentist. Fix your processes Aspen dental!!! I work in an industry with this type of technology day in and day out. This is the worst implementation I have ever seen. After the rudeness of whoever took my call in the office and the fact the information I am giving you will never reach corporate, I will find another dentist. And I will be submitting this same review and experience on as many sites as I can find. Shame on you Walgreen’s to be associated with these people in the same building and advertising on their behalf.

After reading so many complaints. I have similar complaints tho the most recent is Two (2) teeth on the lower denture just decided to fall out all by themselves. My denture is just 2 years old. I was horrified. I went in on an emergency and they were able to put them back on but… I do not feel safe the way they looked after they broke. I am asking for a new denture as it is loosely fit now and like anything that gets a repair it is never the same Like New. I have had dentures for a very long time and since I have been at aspen for 5 years and a lot of money I just have not had the best of luck. Theres always a reason why things can”t be done unless you pay more. The embarrass ment alone is enough to put someone over the edge but to have to see if the 7year ins. plan will cover it is ridiculous. Wish me luck. The person with the appt. problem my moto is 15 min and I”m out or like u said someone should at least tell you why you are waiting. Don”t wait that long. I guess some people need more people skills

After three weeks of phone calls, e-mails and stopping into the office in person Aspen Dental finally credited my credit card. But they still owe me $37.00. I was credited $2090.70 they were supposed to credit me 2127.70. What gives? Aspen Dental you”ve lost my business and I will spread the word to others that you are not reputable. Credit card reimbursements should be instantaneous just like any other business. Give me my $37.00 back. Not to mention it took the Dentist two hours to pull my tooth. I was not numb enough and was in a lot of discomfort throughout the process. Finally after several injections of novocaine, the last shot of novocaine I felt it go right where it needed to be and she was able to extract the tooth. Who knew it would take two hours to pull a tooth and three weeks to get some of my money back.

All my teeth were removed by Aspen Dental in Defiance, Ohio in 2013. My dentures do not fit, they make me vomit, I can not eat with them, and they burn…5 years of suffering…all my family and friends can not believe the horror I have went through! I have had them re-lined…I have tried to use everything on the market to get them to fit and stop burning my gums and the inside of my lips! I tried Denture Powders, every Denture Cream, and the lining cushioning…SEABOND…nothing works…I have had to learn to basically gum my food without teeth! I can no longer enjoy steaks, crispy things, corn on the cob, nuts, hard candies…it is just awful! When we go out to eat it’s a nightmare because I have to keep removing my teeth at the table and wrap them in a napkin…people stare…I try to leave them in as long as I can, but the poor fit, which makes me bite the insides of my mouth and the burning makes it impossible!

Amanda Apple is a hygienist at the Warsaw Indiana office. She is very rude and unsympathetic wilh her patients. I understand her concerns for patients to have the best dental hygiene. But once she has told and recommended to the patient her view she proceeds to cram it down your throat. She doesn”t stop the badgering. It”s ultimately the patient”s decision to take her advice or not. I have been going to this location for over 3 years and frankly I dread each visit because I have to deal with Amanda Apple. The rest of the staff have been great. That”s the reason I return but I cannot after today”s visit. Besides she”s refused to treat me ever again because I don”t follow her advice to the tee.

Approximately in April/May 2019 I went into the Brunswick, GA office to request that my dental records as well as my families dental records be forwarded to another dental office. As soon as I walked in the door and told the receptionist what I was looking to do, she immediately said “Ok, no problem” and handed me a clipboard with a bunch of authorization forms to fill out and sign. I asked her if I could also submit one for my husband or was I only able to submit for myself and my minor children. She said “No, its fine, you can do it for the whole family”. (I did find that a little strange because I assumed I would not be able to sign for another adult but I wasn”t sure so I did it for all of us) I filled out and signed all of the authorizations and returned them to the receptionist. At that time she told me that she would submit them and my records would be forwarded via email to some other main records office. I assumed all was taken care of until I had my appt with my new dentist around 2 months later and was told that the records were never sent. I was also informed by the staff that they have had multiple Aspen patients who have experienced the same thing. Aspen either does not send the records at all or demand payment for the records after the fact. I called Aspen to check on my records and was told by a woman on the phone that my request had been submitted by her the day I filled out the forms and that it goes to a main office somewhere and they send the records from there and that it usually takes 24 hours from time she submits them for them to receive it. I was never told anything about being charged or there being any fees for my records, at time of request or since that time. These records are all digital so there is no reason for a charge for “copies” of any records. They can simply be e-mailed to the new dentists office. I believe this location is losing many patients for various reasons and because of that they are avoiding sending patients records to new dentists or looking to capitalize by charging for records of services that they have already been paid for by the insurance company. These are my personal records and they are all electronic and so easily forwarded with a click of a mouse or a keyboard, this should not “cost” anything for them to send. I have a feeling that maybe this location is not wanting to report the loss of patients so that corporate is not aware that something is going very wrong at this location. I see post after post (on this site and on social media) of previous patients complaining about overcharges, denial or manipulation of sending records. An investigation is desperately needed at this location. I request that my records, and my families records, be sent to my new dentist and I do not expect to have to pay for them. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Approximately three years ago I went to Aspen Dental in Ithaca NY. I was told that I needed a whole bunch of work. I told the people there I could not afford it and they referred me to open an account with Genesis. I was pressured into doing so, I told them that I would do that but that I was going to get a second opinion. I did get a second opinion, and I was told by two dentists that I did not need the work recommended by Aspen. Needless to say, I did not have the work done with Aspen and I never returned to them. However, Aspen charged the Genesis card for $430. I was unaware that they did that, and there was never any service provided. I spoke to the customer service representative in the local office about this charge, and she gave me a HUGE runaround – her training must have been excellent. I was under the impression that if I contacted Genesis everything would be taken care of. I contacted Genesis, and they told e that Aspen had to take care of it. No help. Now I am trying to get this charge removed from my credit. I would very much like this situation remedied please. Can you please contact me and help me clear this up?
Aspen Dental Reviews & Complaints
Are year ago in March I went into the Peoria, AZ office for a $75 repair on upper partial. A tooth needed to be glued back in. Instead they talked me into a full set of upper and lower partial’s at the tune of around $1500. They kept insisting my 7 YEAR old set was “temporary “. They tried their best to talk me into pretty expensive metal or flexible ones. They were fully aware that I was leaving in two months for Washington state. “Oh no problem, we have offices there for follow ups and we can get this done in plenty of time.” Well no they couldn’t. I was in there four or five times before I even got a pair of teeth to put in my mouth. On the second visit it was clear the tech had made the teeth as if to receive a metal roof. I pointed this out. I told her I want exactly like my old set. She took pictures! It was corrected the next visit, BUT, now instead of a partial that should’ve been made in one whole piece, it was basically patched at the roof of the mouth (which just happens to be exactly where it broke in half less than 6 months later). And a few months after that it broke again after their repair in Washington state. Now it’s “out of warranty”and they say “Hey, you were told these were only temporaries.” And want to charge me $100 for that same repair. Upon inspection after the second breaking, both the upper and the lower partial’s are about half (that’s 1/2) the thickness of my old pair. Of course it breaks the first time it’s dropped in the sink. My old pair was twice as thick and lasted seven years–I’m wearing them now sans the aforementioned tooth. As an aside, I’d like to add that the Peoria office, once it got the second half of my $1500, all of a sudden got real busy and had to book out a week or two weeks out before they could make another adjustment on my teeth because they hurt. They still hurt when I got to Washington several months later. I want my money back for the upper AND the lower because they’re a matched set. Their ads say money back guarantee– just saw one last night. Hence this complaint.

Around 1st week in March 2019 I had an appointment with Aspen Dental I am on Medicare insurance they except so I went complaining of back tooth Lower left hurting. After full set of X-rays were taken the doctor came in said my options for that tooth was root canal or pulling it. I said I want pulled he gave me a script for antibiotic to take while they were checking with my insurance. He mentioned other things that would need to be done also. So I go home in pain take the antibiotics and wait to hear back from them once they hear from insurance. Never got call back. The way they handled my husbands billing concerned me so since I did not hear from them I decided to ask for X-rays to go elsewhere. They only wanted to give me paper copies. The new office said they need digital. I went filled out a request where to send them signed a release form and was told the digital had to come from corporate but would receive in 7 days more than 7 days passed no X-rays. Called Corporate in Texas spoke to Julie. She called the Bristol Aspen and they told her first I never signed a release I need to go back which was a lie then Julie said at corporate I can email to you directly I said fine. By this time a more than a month had gone by. So when I went to second location I was given by my primary dr 2k mg of amoxicillin to take 1-2 hrs prior to having tooth pulled. I did as directed. When in the second location to finally get tooth pulled the hygienist said that Aspen had sent someone else X-rays and I had to end up getting an X-ray anyway. One reason I did not want more X-rays I had just gotten out of hospital with double pneumonia. So I was forced to get an X-ray. When the new dr new location came in he said the tooth had some decay but did not see the need to pull could start with just a feeling or root canal. Needless to say after over a month in pain and now being told something different. I have Lupus & IBS and Dud not want to take more antibiotics than necessary the 2nd dentist said I should not have even had to take them. So for Aspen holding my X-rays hostage all this put me through so much unnecessarily. Very very frustrated. I would not want to see anybody else treated that way

Around May I had several fillings placed, since then I have had two of the teeth that Aspen “fixed” extracted, due to an increase in pain. I had the first one pulled at the Aspen office, the dentist stated she had tried to save it. When she pulled the tooth it was not numb, I felt everything. After all that Aspen dental charged me for pulling it, as well as the cavity they filled in this tooth.

As a new patient, I waited over an hour before I was taken back for xrays. After the xrays, I was taken to the hygienist. She was rough on my teeth and jabbed some instrument repeatedly into my gums even after I complained. She then scratched my face with her dental tool. She never apologized or even acknowledged her action. She tried to tell me that I needed some type of scaling cleaning. I told her no, that I just needed my teeth cleaned. She got pissy and left the room. Next the dentist came in with an assistant and started to review my xrays. The dentist was speaking with her assistant in terms I did not understand. I asked her about getting my teeth cleaned and she said that she could not clean my teeth unless I would agree to some scaling procedure – which I would not. She advised that it would be unethical and she could lose her license to simply clean my teeth. What a farce.

As a previous employee of Aspen Dental, I have witnessed providers billing out to insurance companies for services that were never rendered and/or overdiagosing and overtreating patients on countless occasions. They will create an elaborate treatment plan in order to bill out for a moe expensive procedure than the one that was actually needed. Completely unethical and blatantly fraudulent!

Aspen dental caused me to lose two healthy teeth. They knew they messed up from the start, but then waited 14 months to finally refund my money? Huh? Then a call out of the blue offering a what? A settlement in the amount of $1 (it was a little more but i’m making a point)? What? Are you kidding me? No aspen dental, I want $5. Ha ha lol roflma ha ha so they say. Guess what? I laughed right back at them and joined b.a. d. aspen dental, keep that $1 you offered me. I’m going to walk away from your blood money, and actually do something to stop you from stealing smiles all across america. You refused to refund me at the time of the incident which didn’t make any sense to give it back 14 months later. Like most other aspen dental victims I have been forced to wait to get the issue done since I wasn’t planing on having a simple crown procedure turn into needing an implant or bridge which is what i’m going to end up doing at the price tag of $4500 after all is said and done. ASpen Dental Cortez Blvd. Brooksville, FL 3 + years ago Long story short…all teeth pulled for dentures by recommendation of 1 dentist. Follow up visit a different dentist.a huge turnover of dentists in this office. I had an allergic reaction to the impression material and was unable to get an accurate fitting or bite for my dentures. I can’t eat or talk correcrtly to this day. Can not get them to fix or compensate for the fact that I still am in temporary plates. Permanenet plates do not fit either. I NEED a solution and they insist they can not do anything but take more impressions. I am allergic…I literally vomit for hours when they use that material. They say they have no other solution. I work two jobs and deal with people all the time. I need these dentures to fit. In the meantime my mouth is FULL of sores, bumps and I have a constant sore throat and lots of phelgym along with a burning sensation. I am praying I don’t wind up with cancer in my mouth. Please help me. Thanks for your time and consideration in this matter. L. Baker [protected]

Aspen dentist Dr Klepes located in Panama City Beach Fl removed a crown from the WRONG tooth and when the temporary came off of the back two crowns he removed he would not give me an appt for 6 days to replace it . I have a medical issue that requires that I eat solid food or I will end up in the hospital on IV lipids, very expensive !!! His assistant started to numb my upper gum line and the chipped crown needing work was on the bottom, I told her this and she argued with me saying the chart said #13 I think she said, I told her my chip was at the bottom and she got mad and stomped out. So I tell the dentist I want the chipped crown replaced not an upper tooth he said ok he numbs me and starts drilling. When he left the room I got a mirror to see what it looked like and realized it was the wrong tooth. I was upset and told the assistant. He said he would pay for the mistake and his assistant said I was not worth it!!! Then my temporary broke twice and he is making me wait 6 day before he will fix it!! No empathy what so ever

AWFUL!!! Im in fl visiting for family matters. My tooth started hurting as I knew it had to be extracted. After talking to the aspen dental customer line I was scheduled for a 1200 appt for extraction. I arrived at 1145 for my appt filled out new Patient paperwork. I asked if they wanted to contact my dentist for my current X-rays that were taken recently. They said no and that they were going to do their own. I sat back down and was not taken back to a room until 1225. They did X-rays and a comprehensive exam. I told them that I didn”t need any of their recommended services except for the extraction. They recommended I have 3 extractions as an abscess was noted on the X-ray. So I agreed to have them completed and was told by Dr. Rini that they could not perform the extraction until 230 and it was now 1245. I told her kindly that is not whAt was relayed to be by the scheduling center and that I was here for family emergency issues and that I have 2 babies I need to get back to as soon as possible. She said 230 was the earliest they could do the extraction but she would not be doing it Dr. Marjan Mirkheshti would be doing them as she has another procedure to do. She said they can pull the phone call to see what was said as if I was lying. I told her to go ahead and pull it. She told me the 3 extractions should take about an hour to hour 15 at most. They make you pay ahead of time for services so I paid for my 3 extractions. The office manager /finance (Virginia) told me at 145 pm to go grab some food quick and come back around 2 if I can so they could numb me early. I arrived back at 215 and sat and waited. I mentioned to the front desk that I was back so they could numb me early and I was brought back at 230not early. Due to my neck issue from car accident the dr decided to numb one tooth at a time to make sure I”d be able to handle the procedure and I agreed with her suggestion. Tooth number one was extracted and it took about 25 min. During the process of extracting this first tooth she dropped her heavy instruments on my face and lips which wAs very unpleasant. Shortly after a 5 min break I was numbed for tooth number 2. This was the tooth with the notable abscess on the jaw line which she knew prior to the extraction from the X-ray. This tooth was a bit harder to get out as the root was sitting next to the bone. She was very rough pulling this tooth out and Dr. Rini had to suggest and give her different tools to help with the extraction. Dr.Mirkheshti kept commenting that my teeth take so long to get out because my roots were long and wide. She cut out the tooth into sections with a saw and was drilling to help get the pieces out. She dropped a very sharp object in my lips and “accidentally ” knicked my lip. She said “oops, sorry”. She then found a cyst poked it open and sucked and pulled out the infection with a suction tube. She also cut along my jaw line but unsure as to why this area was cut as there was no tooth there and I would now need stitches. She made the comment it took 50 min to get that tooth out. She kept looking at the X-ray and complaining that the next tooth would take an hour to get out and kept trying to push me not to have it extracted bc it would take her an hour. I told her I was NOT coming back. I was there already and they could complete what was started and paid for. She kept complaining it was going to take an hour. She kept suggesting that I needed a route canal and she could save the tooth., and tried to push me to let her do route canal. I kindly explained to her for a third time I would not have a root canal because I develop abscesses and this is not what I want to do. She walked out of the room a couple of times and then came back again and told me it would be too long for her to extract because my roots are long and wide apart and it would take about an hour. At this point it was about 415. I told her again that this was recommended and scheduled by their office and I will not be coming back. I do not live in this area and if needs to be done, to please do it. So she finally unwillingly agreed. She numbed me up. Then walked out and said she has other patients to see. I was fine with it as long as she came and finished what she started. She came back and numbed me some more. Then said I”m going to try and pull this out with the forceps. I”m not going to cut it and separate it because it will take an hour to get it out. I will try and just use the forceps. She tried once and I could feel pain so she stopped and numbed up some more. Then told me she talked to the other dentist (which I don”t know who because she had already mentioned the other dentist left in passing) and he recommended that she just used forceps and if it doesn”t come out then I need to see oral surgeon because she didn”t have time to finish the procedure. She then sutured the left side of my mouth where she cut me and then walked out again. She then came back and moved the skin around the tooth away and pulled on the tooth for a about 20 sec with forceps. She set down the forceps and walked out. Then she came back in And said to to me (Dr. Marjan Mirkheshti) “you are messing up my schedule, the other dentist left and I don”t have time to finish your procedure, I have other patients to see, you have messed up my schedule with new patients this afternoon” and then walked out of the room again to go see other patients. I was worried about her pulling and messing with the tooth and that would create issues so I had the tech ask her if this would create problems or infection because she was pulling on the tooth. The tech reported that the dr said it would not cause an infection and the tooth didn”t move when she was pulling on it. She was just pulling away the tissue from the tooth. The dentist (Dr. M Mirkheshti) came back in my room and said don”t worry about that tooth I was pulling on. I was just moving the skin around and poking it. It was bleeding from pulling but it”s just like a cut on your gums. It will heal after a few days! She said you will be fine and that tooth I was pulling on won”t give you issues for at least a year or two. You will be fine. I”m sorry I just don”t have time to finish you. I told here they will refund my money for that tooth. She said they will refund your money and I”m sorry but I have 2 other patients to see and we close at 6. She then said again I just loosened all the skin around d that tooth so if it gives you problems you can see an oral surgeon if you need to. So then I”m waiting for RXs for around 45 min. Once the tech brings them in I told her the pharmacy will not fill this pain med because it”s not filled out properly. The tech brought it to dentist. Dentist told her that it will be fine and refused to change it. Told tech I wanted to talk to office manager/finance person and she made the comment”I was just about to leave” I was like seriously! She said oh you want to talk about your refund, I will process through tonight but it will take however long to credit back to your account. I said that”s fine but I want it in writing you will refund my money for that tooth. She said I can”t do that I don”t have anything like that I can give you. I-said just write out a statement that states you are refunding the amount I paid for the tooth. She said she couldn”t do that but did show me where they took off the one charge, I told her to comment there so it”s noted! She then said to me “I hope your tooth doesn”t give you issues and you can have an oral surgeon take it out when you get back home.” I get back to my parents house and my dad takes my RXs to get filled. Takes to pharmacy they refuse to fill because the RX is filled out incorrectly and they can”t fill it. My dad takes it to another pharmacy who tells him it can”t be filled because the DEA is incorrect and the dosage is incorrect. My dad calls the after hours line right at 6 and gets hung up on. He called back 2 more times and was hung up on. The 4th time he talked to someone who sent out a page to the dr. At 1120 pm and he still hadn”t received a phone call back. The pharmacy told my dad to take me to ER to see if they could help with pain meds. I called the after hours number again on the way to ER and no call back. I called again with no response. At 835 pm the answering service called me back asking if I had received a call from the Dentist. I said I did not. He said at this point I have to refer you to urgent care or the ER since they aren”t answering. I said I”m at ER. At the ER I was informed that I would not be able to be helped and they could not dispense the meds even though I had a legit RX due to the new Florida laws. Unless I have cancer or a fracture they are not allowed to dispense meds even if you just had surgery. He said this is the dentist issue and they have to fix it. On the way home I called the dentist answering service to talk to the dr. Again the dr was paged with no call back. After20 min I called back again. The office called me back this time but I was hung up on. So I recalled the answering service who paged the dr again. This time it rang asking me to leave a message and so I did. The dr finally called me back at 940 pm!!! I explained to Dr. Rini the situation about the RX not being able to be filled and I was In Serious pain. she asked what I wanted her to do, I told her I would like her to meet me at the office so I could get my pain meds bc the pharmacy closed at 10. She said she lived to far away from the office to help me out and she would not drive there to give me a new RX. She said I usually just tell patients to go to the hospital and since you have already been there, you can just take ibuprofen then and I”ll get you a new RX in the morning when I get to the office! She then immediately called me back and said that she needed me to bring the other script back. I find it funny that when a patient needs something due to their mistake they aren”t willing to respond or help out but if they need something from you they can call back immediately. This is one of the worSt experiences I have ever had!! This morning I get to the office to get my RX and the dentist said she was sending electronically. I asked them to please verify that the pharmacy would fill it. I was told by the receptionist that if there was a problem the pharmacy could call them. Then I asked for a copy of what was sent to pharmacy and they refused to give it to me. She said we don”t have a way to print that out. I said ok then pull up my record and I”ll screen shot it do I have record of what was sent. She said we can”t allow you to see your record. I said yes you can! It”s my record and I”m allowed to see it. I said I will be taking this to corporate. I was then given a copy of the RX . Last night the MD said she couldn”t send electronically because it was Percocet but this morning was able to send it! Unbelievable!!! I do NOT recommend this practice at all!! BEWARE if you go here!! Terrible experience!

Back in january of last year i had a filling put in the right, back, bottom molar. Some of the filling came off last friday and i went to aspen to check it out. The Dr. Said that when my tooth was filled, there was still bacteria eating away at my tooth the whole time. Now, i have to get a root canal because the bacteria has gotten to my nerve. That was the whole point in me paying for the filling and going to the dentist So that this kind of stuff doesnt happen! They are trying to help me financially but i feel like this is 100% the fault of ASPEN. the Dr. Assured me that there was NOTHING that i could have done to prevent it because the damage was done when the filling was. I plan to go further than this complaint board.

Beginning 5-7-2019 to Current I am totally sick about the whole thing! I”m 2 months into the procedure. #1 They changed my final product, an implant upper denture, to a conventional denture WITHOUT discussing it at any time, in any way. I was proactive and knew my teeth were losing their grip.5-7-2019 I went to Aspen, my insurance approved them, to see what options I might have. The dentist brought out a model of the “snap in” implant and stated that he would recommend, pulling my 8 upper teeth, and replacing them with this product. My teeth weren”t bad, no cavities etc. so I wanted to think it over. I decided to move forward. An implant seemed much more acceptable to me and gave me the confidence that it was time to do it. I did NOT have to do anything immediately, but, as I said, I knew the inevitable loss eventually would happen and lets face it, I couldn”t just wait for them to fall out one by one. Financing, insurance were done up front. Day 1 May 22, 2019 remove the 8 teeth, stitch and cover with temporary denture. NO PAIN MEDICATION. Was told to take 2 Tylenol and rotate with Ibuprofen (which I am allergic to). That was cruel!! I should have been advised. Day 2 May 23, 2019, 24hrs later, checked me out, and technician began giving a lot of information about how to wear, use and care for dentures. I stated, well, all of this is worth it, to avoid living with that. She said no, I said yes, she left and returned stating I was right I was getting the implant. #3 June – 2wks later for soft-liner. Same deal, tech was telling me about the denture, I said no, we just straightened this out. She left returned with mgr and said NO. At this point I have no upper teeth and they have been paid in full. I said lets get this straightened out, she went to her office and explained I could still have it, but Dr. G was no longer with them, and he had been determining how many pins and where, so I would need to see the oral surgeon and pay for the appointment. OK. No appointment was ever made and I was never contacted.Approximately 10 days later I returned to the office to resolve what I was sure was an error. Mgr is defensive, and now states I did not make the appropriate down payment. I had no idea what she was talking about. She repeated I did not pay a deposit for that work. Those words had never been used. I wasn”t notified, nothing was ever mentioned stated or requested. Not in my paperwork, or my treatment plan. So, they have been paid in full, by me and I”m not getting what was discussed or agreed upon. I”m having a nervous breakdown over this. They already pulled my teeth. They took away my choice. If a conventional denture was my only option, I would not have moved forward. I”m a 60yr old female, working professional. My speech is hard to understand, I have lost 15 pounds because I can”t eat anything. The temporary I am currently wearing, doesn”t fit, or work. My lower molars (natural) sit inside this thing and the molars on the denture scrape my cheeks. I cry daily. My current status with regard to my mouth, is consuming my thoughts from the time I get up, all throughout the day until bed. I can”t be social, I can”t speak clearly without spitting, cant eat anything regular. No biting and only bite size soft chew food. I”m hiding inside and avoiding everyone. These people do not care. It is my position that, they are entirely responsible, have already removed my teeth, took away my right to choose, caused my pain and suffering. I should be refunded ALL money, and put a number on ..you took away my teeth- that should pay for ANYTHING I need to complete the correct procedure with another dentist. I would let it go at that, when honestly, they should have a monetary payment to me to attempt to compensate me for all I have been through. Since malpractice isn”t appropriate according to an attorney I spoke with. Lol, they took my teeth!!! I think that”s an injury. So I guess they just lied, mislead and manipulated me…contract dispute? I”m so sick, I can”t see an attorney yet. Every time I have to go over it, I”m wacked out all over again. But, I plan to consult another dentist, as well as an attorney. I can”t even look in the mirror. Right now, I feel I have no choice but to allow them to see me again and in November see what I get. NO CHOICE! Robbed of the last 2 months and enduring until November for the denture. Then my money back guarantee. I will not keep their denture and I want my money back. The office knew all along what was up. I was the only one in the dark. This office is knowingly misleading, either by what they say or even what they neglect to say. Is there no ethics or integrity? I feel like a victim. No medical release is on file for me from my physician. Paperwork clearly states no work will be performed without medical release. I want to stop everything, return my funds, bill my insurance for the extractions and I will return this temporary denture . Then I will just move on. No attorney, no ugly publicity and best of all for you, no money for pain and suffering. This was done to me, not for me.

Bernie Zeitler–Got another bill for $$468. These items were on the first bill. Double billing is illegal and you need to delete this bill. Also believe your prices are way too high which you don’t tell people until they get there and then are in pain and are shocked when the bill seems double what it should be. Account number for the duplicate bill is #[protected]. If we don’t hear from you, then we will contact the appropriate boards as well as our attorney general here in our state of Michigan. You cannot bill for the same thing twice. Plus the x rays are supposed to be free so you can also take off the Charge for $82.00 as well. Further it concerns me that there is encouragement to use care credit telling customers that it will be ‘interest free’. If a customer get’s it to help with paying extremely high amounts over time they discover that the plan they choose is not interest free but high interest.Resulting in making it even more un affordable and painful.

Beware of this dental practice, they damaged my tooth to the tune of $2000. Aspen Dental of Klamath Falls, aka Two Thirty Dental LLC owned by Dr.George McKee. This practice refuses to accept responsibility for substandard work done in my mouth. Learn more here: twothirtydentalcaution dot org Oh and please be advised, although this practice employs licensed dentists, they do NOT do all of the work, but rather pass off advanced responsibilities to their dental assistants (which in some cases is legal to my dismay). Enter those doors at your own risk if you so choose, but please post your comments as soon as possible at the above site if you too have had a bad experience. If I can warn even one person, preventing them from the tremendous pain and suffering I”ve endured, then I can say at least there is something good to come out of this dental disaster. Please, don”t become their next victim! Its not fun; it”s extremely painful, at least that was my experience. This comment is specifically for Aspen Dental of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Aspen Dental of Roseburg, Oregon. Thank you.

Charged for a treatment plan found out was over priced. Then they sent me to a oral surgeon who said I needed a root canal in which I did not need. Then pulled a healthy tooth. I had tooth pain for 6 months the first dentist I saw couldn”t find any reason for the pain he said there was no bad teeth. So he sent me to oral surgeon. He suggested root canal well, you need to get prior authorization first that was going to take weeks, and I was in a lot of pain. Went back to AspenDental Clarksville TN they suggested pull the tooth something wasn”t right with that but you try and put your trust in those how have knowledge. They pulled the tooth made the statement you”ll should feel better now. Well that was not the case. Still had pain and it even got worst. I decided to get second opinion come to find out from another oral surgeon and dentist I have a severe over bite the hinges in my jaw are locking up so I need a mouth piece to help correct this(TMJ). There was no need for root canal or pulling any teeth.Aspen Dental charge me for root and scaling 2000.00 within this treatment plan was charges for future visits already charge and a toothbrush antibiotics for teeth missing. I spoke to one dentist 800 at the most should have been charged. Manager pushes cost on to you when I question why I”m I being charged for future visit she said the company requires us to do that. I”m on a set income they have took me to the cleaners.

Date of service – 9/14/18 I called to have a regular check up scheduled plus a consultation about a possible implant procedure. I must say the receptionist and hygienist was very professional. After getting my teeth cleaned the dentist came in. The first concern I had was, he never directly addressed me about my dental experience. He only asked me one question, the rest of the time he addressed the hygienist as if I wasn”t sitting there. he kindly told the hygienist what I needed, and what his plan was. When he was done, I finally got to ask a question. I asked, what about my consultation for implants, he turned around and said “You are no candidate for any kind of implant procedure and you should just stick with what I told you”. Later that day I researched an oral surgeon for more answers, and a second option. I was told to make an appointment for a consultation, and I would need a referral from the dentist I had just visited. I called back the next day asking for a referral, I was told the dentist was on vacation and I would have to wait. I waited about two weeks to call back; I was then told ” the dentist said he would not give me a referral because he felt you should follow the procedures he had proposed”. I didn”t know a dentist could be so rude, all I wanted was a second opinion. Does he treat everyone like this, or just some people!!! Truly Shocked

Dear Aspen dental, A few years back I we through a full treatment plan that included fillings, cleanings, root canals, and crowns. As I do not have dental insurance this cost me thousands that to this day I am still paying off that credit card. Since then I have switched to a local much closer dentist. Im writing because of a as a customer I am confused and fell like I am being taken advantage of. This all started May 19th 2019 my crown on my #11 tooth has become lose and constantly needs to be pushed back into place. This has caused me alot of discomfort and pain. I will date and time everthing that follows. May 21st 8am est. Called Aspen Dental in Amherst N.H.. Talked to Kaylin Barrett. She told me a crown should last at minimum 3 to 5 years. Because I was no longer an active patient of theirs I needed to prove I have been taking proper care of my teeth. I was given an email that my current dentist would send all my x-rays, exams, and work done to be sent to. May 21st 9am est. I called my Dentist Dr Bob, and had all my information emailed to Aspen Dental. May 23rd 930am est. I called back Aspen Dental to find out why nobody got back to me. Kaylin claims she never got the paperwork in the email, and that my phone number does not work for her. May 23rd 940am est. I called back Dr. Bob and had paperwork resent to Aspen Dental. May 23rd 10am est. Called Aspen Dental Amherst N.H. to learn status of paperwork. They still did not receive it. May 23rd 1030am est I picked up paperwork to hand deliver to Aspen Dental from Dr. Bob. May 23rd 1120am est. Turned in paperwork with Kaylin at Aspen Dental. I was then told there was nothing that can be done until I schedule an x-ray #220 and an exam #140 with one of their new Dr.s Reddy or Santa Maria. Anytime I mentioned the tooth or what was wrong she would immediately interrupt me and say ” I’m not a dentist.” rudely to quiet me. The cost of the x-ray and exam would be 140$ I would have to pay. Only then will they see what can be done about the loose crown. She kept saying stuff like any past agreements were with a different dentist that is no longer there, and they may not cover anything. With a weary feeling, and mouth still in pain I scheduled the appt for 5/29/19. I spoked to my current dentist and they feel I should not have to pay for an exam or x-ray of a improperly fitted crown that lasted less than 3 years. I feel like I am being taken advantage of. Thank you for your time, Robert

Dear Sir / Madam I paid a lot of money in August 2017 to have a denture with Aspen in Avon Indiana.Today I have a tooth broken when I was trying to get off the cover of a chocolate candy.Big was my surprise how easy the tooth broke only after3 months. I went to Aspen Dental in Avon IN .I was told that there was no tech. Then I was told to call the one in Plainfield IN.I went there talked to the desk, she talked to the manager who even did not come to see me in order to know what is goin on. I was mad and I told the desk that I am going to sue Aspen. I went back to Avon and after talking for a long time the employee told me that on the second of January 2018 the denture will be repared. Now What I need is a brand new DENTURE because the repair may cause me problem in the future. Prior to this new denture I had one 8 years before and Had no problem till it fell on the sink and broke on one side. So I need someone who understands my situation. December 27, 2018 To whom this may concern, Att. Robert Fontana, Robert C. Connor, Arwinder Judge This place is a total Scam. Very unprofessional dentists and the Office Manager is incompetent to say the least. She is rude, irate and has no customer service skills whatsoever. After making an 11am appointment to have my front tooth bonded I got there early at 10:40 am, signed in and waited till 12:15 to be called, they did x-rays and sat me in a dental chair and I waited till 1pm to be seen at which time I was told I needed to talk to the finance department before they move forward. He leaves and 20 minutes later the Hygenist comes in and tells me I need a cleaning first. I said fine. The the Finance department comes in and tells me it will be $400.00 for the cleaning.and I said what? She said very abruptly well you can”t have the bonding done unless you have the cleaning so you either have to pay for it or you have to sign a payment contract. I refused the cleaning and . stated I came for the bonding. They said NO they would not do the bonding unless I paid for the cleaning. I got very anxious and stressed and asked for the manager, a heavy set woman comes in with a nasty attitude and basically looks at me and says you need to lower your voice. I said lower my voice, I am not yelling I am upset because your office is trying to take advantage of me, talking about everything from braces to $400.00 cleanings to telling me the dentist will not see me unless I pay for the cleaning. The office manager who should not in any way be dealing with your patients or any type of customer relations is very ill-trained and basically blew me off by saying well Miss if you don”t pay for the cleaning your not getting the bonding. She without doubt needs to be replaced. i told her and the dentist and the Hygenoist that they have not heard the last of me and now will do everything in my power to contact everyone necessary to make sure this does not happen again to anyone else. once I returned home and after reading hundreds of reviews most of which were complaints from overcharging to doing unnecessary work, to poor customer service I am contacting the corporate office, the Better Business Bureau, ther news channel and any other site I could possibly add a negative complaint. I basically took time away from my Christmas holiday and my family to have my front tooth bonded because it chipped and literally spent three and half hours in the Stroudsburg office for nothing. Beware of Aspen Dental they are a complete farce, they are unprofessional, they are incompetent and they have no customer service skills. Your company should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of people the way you do. I am contacting the American Dental Association immediately. Very disturbed Susan Bucci [protected]@yahoo.com

Decided to to give my son a teeth whitening as a christmas present at Aspen Dental. His first visit they said he needed over $900 of work done before they could whiten them although he never complained of any issues. Before his next visit they billed my cc before any work was done.A month later they did the whitening with no results. They charged my cc $1, 292.00 and we see no differance.I disscussed this with them and they were rude and pretty much blew me off. They said well we didnt take any before & after pics and so I showed them the ones I took. They said well we dont look at pics. They did nothing to resolve this problem.
