Best Western Plus Fort Lauderdale Airport South Inn & Suites

I check in at 4-5 am at Hotel since my flight was delay many hours due to mechanical problems. At check in my suitcase which was lost by AA had my heart medicine and breathing machine (nebulizer) which at that moment had been lost. I ask for a late check out and I was told I could be out by 12 noon. At 11 am a maid walked into my room, without knocking and or even making a phone call to advice me to start getting ready, and pushed me out of bed as I was in deep sleep. I had already had a small heart attack a week earlier and suffer from PVC (Premature Ventricular contraction) and was recoving from a pnuemonia. I had not done a thing at the hotel except sleep. When I was sitting in the lobby trying to reserve a rent a car and they did call me paramedics and police. I was offered to be taken to the hospital or the police station. After talking to the police which where the only reasonable people being nice they convienced the hotel the hotel to finally took me to the airport. I had no car reservation and all this happen surprisingly quick. I was caughing up green phlegm and even had an abnormal EKG performed in the lobby. They had no sympathy for me and did not even offer to bring me a cup of water to take a few of my other pills I did have with me. Stay away from Best Western Hotel they are Run like Camps and have no sympathy toward their quests. They only care about the buck$$ .
