I signed up with Blue Mountain a year ago. I’ve been a customer over the years and never had a problem with them until now. My subscription with them expired this month; when they sent me a reminder to renew, I did nothing. However, this morning when I checked my bank account online I learned that they had charged my credit card without any authorization. I spent an hour on the phone trying to reach someone but was disconnected every time I called. The live chat was useless as well. When I searched for consumer complaint later I read account after account of Blue Mountain initiating unauthorized charges. Obviously this company has been using deceptive and fraudulent practices since 2001! I sent them and email stating that I planned to contact the FTC, the parent company American Greetings, and post to every consumer complaint website I can find unless they refund my money immediately. Also, although the number listed on their website is useless, there are other numbers listed by people who said they actually spoke to someone who helped them. I did not read any accounts of someone getting a refund. The phone numbers listed were 216-252-7300, and 800-711-4474. I have not tried either but I will tomorrow during business hours. Buyer, beware!
