I took my rv to Camping World in Valencia CA to get the transmission serviced and I also requested them to lube the chassis and they did not do it and they charged me $64.50 for something that was requested but was not done and they claimed it was done but all the telltale signs say it was not done I will never go back to that shop even if they do the work for free .

I went to Camping World for a New travel trailer. After a few days, I was congratulated on my New purchase. When I arrived at the location, it wasn’t the one I had wanted. I got the song and dance that this was the ONLY one they could finance. This surprised me as my credit rating is pretty good. I couldn’t take it home right away because the breaker kept tripping and they wanted to fix it. Several days later, I took home my trailer. After a month I started haVing trouble. I live in this as I travel for my Job. I finally took it back after 3 months. Oh…they said it was MY fault the electrical outlet melted. I wasnt suppose to use the microwave and AC at the same time. And, they fixed the leaking shower. I brought it back to my lot. The shower continued to leak. The fuses continued to blow. Bring it back was all they could say. 6 months later, I took it back. Same problem. Same solution! Nothing. Now, almost a year later, I was told to bring it in. I work! This is not easy for me to do and it isn’t cheap in gas. Now, it can’t be looked at because I didn’t make an appointment. I have a letter staying what’s wrong and what it will cost. I also have been scheduled to return the following Saturday for repairs. I called that Saturday afternoon and not only had it not been looked at, the guy who gave me the estimation was a ghost. No one there knows him. They are short staffed and can’t look at it for a week..or two. Probably 3. And since they had already done work on it, my 3 year warranty is no good. I’m still paying for it and this is the same problem. I have a trailer that is falling apart. It leaks. It melts the main power plug. And my warranty is no good after THEY worked on it. I’ll never go back.
I have been going Camping World locations
I have been going Camping World locations through out the U.S. for 3 years for service to my motorhome. This location was closest to Louden N.H. I had them do a lube oil and filter change and made a point that they not forget to lube the front end. I was told not to worry, that they do this with the service which i would expect. I had asked them what oil they used and was told mobil. I requested shell 15/40 oil non synthetic. I was later called and told this is not the oil they recommended. I said ok just put in the 5/20 oil. I had already let them Know non synthetic. when I picked up my motorhome they had put in synthetic. Ok no big deal but when I checked the work I saw that did not lube the front end. I went back and told them and was told this is not part of service and it would be another $15.00. This is the first time I had ever had an l.o.f and that lube was not included. I am also a retired A.S.E. Mechanic and owned a Meineke shop for fifteen years. This is a bait and switch tactic and is a deceptive practice. I have never heard of an lube oil filter change that did not include the lubrication of the front end. This is even after I asked that they not forget it. This is a poor excuse for a nationwide company for their customer service and has put another bad review for this location. I will now not use any camping world for service because of this poor managment. I went in for thier advertised $64.95 additional 3 qtz. oil and left with a $ 95.77 bill and the whole service was not done.

We bought a brand new crossroads zinger 32 RE December 2013. as soon as we started using it we realized everything they used to build it was cheap and slapped together without any regards to quality. Within a few trips we had over 20 issues some of which were major; On the first rain gutters weren’t pitched correctly, the door leaked and 2 windows leaked. All the water on the roof ran right down the middle of coach and in the window in kitchen. I went out in the pouring rain and noticed that they hadn’t even sealed around the window I had to fix it myself. They never nailed the paneling inside the bedroom so it was coming off. We purchased a new fifth wheel from
We purchased a new fifth wheel from camping world with the agreement that camping world would install an all season patio door kit. The first doors that were shipped came in damaged and missing parts. Contacted camping world numerous times, the Good Sams response team got involved and finally got camping world to send new doors. After the new doors came into the camping world store, the general manager stated that the doors were inspected and they would send their techs to have them installed. After the techs installed the screen doors, I asked where the inserts were to weather proof the doors, the general manager stated that he had inspected the doors and claimed that everything was there. The techs stated that they had everything that was given to them by the general manager. I have since tried contacting camping world leaving several messages and emails with several of the staff that were involved. There has been some contact but with false promises. These doors (complete set) were paid for in advance. This situation has been unresolved since April of 2015. I have apparently been left holding the bag… Ripped off by camping world.

They won’t stand behind their product. Camping world sells their inferior units everyday to unsuspecting people. At first camping world tried to slide in almost 3k in warranty we didn’t want and they drug their feet for months getting us a refund. Once they did refund they would only apply to loan so not to offset sales numbers. They didn’t even register our unit with the factory so we had an uphill battle from the start even getting approved for warranty repairs. I have been camping for about 30
I have been camping for about 30 years and I have purchased over 10 RV’s in my life time. I currently own a 40 foot 2014 Dutchmen Denali 5th wheel travel trailer, my wife and I discussed buying a new class A so we starting looking at different dealers for the best deal. We ended up at Camping World RV Sales on McIntosh located in Dover Florida 33527. We meet with a salesmen by the name of Chuck Dumas, he proceeded to show me class A with a gas engine, and at the time I was going to trade in my 24ft 2015 Stingray Boat and the camper mention above. The deal seemed to be ok but I was concern over trade in values so I called my wife and she recommended that I try to sale the boat on eBay, I went home and listed the boat on eBay and I sold the boat in 3 weeks, after I paid of the loan my wife and I went back to the dealership to re-negotiate the deal. Chuck informed me that the camper we looked at 4 weeks prior was sold so he showed us other new Class A with a gas engine, my wife and I picked a camper, test drove it and went to back to the dealership to work a deal. Chuck offered us 60K for my trailer and 40K off the new coach he went on to say that he could show the dealer discount as a deposit of cash so the deal will look better to the bank, we agreed to the terms and condition that the deal wrote up, sign the contract and we called Navy Federal Credit Union to apply for a loan. After several hours the loan was approved for the final price of 70,635.23 so the check was made out for that amount. We called the salesman and explain the loan was approved and he stated that the coach was in PDI for the delivery I also ask about a mobile satellite system, he said that it will cost around 2400.00 installed so I approved the up charge. We went to the dealership for our 3pm appointment, we did a walkthrough we a stand in sales person then we went to finance department to complete our paper work and tag work. After that I went to the sales store to pay for my satellite system and a couple of other things, that bill was 2400.00 dollars, while leaving the dealership a young manager stopped me and stated that the dealer ship made a mistake and I would have to pay additional 30,000 at that point I was very made and said we had a deal any I paid my money so the problem is yours not mine. Long story short we left the camper due to the time of night it was and I will post complaints ever where I can. This place is a joke and in my opinion this is bait and switch. I will be discussing this with an attorney first thing in the morning as well as the owner of their dealership.

At Camping World we were one of
At Camping World we were one of many… victimized by high pressure sales tactics… I look back and ask myself how could I get bamboozled into buying an RV that cost $2,450 more than the same, new unit price elsewhere? How indeed, after being assured by a likable sales manager that Camping World (C.W.) would “meet or beat” any price from anywhere. Later we learned this was a lie. We were told we should make a refundable deposit to hold the RV we wanted…. to hold it over a holiday while waiting one day to hear back from the other RV dealer… Another misrepresentation, because that the deposit was not refundable if we did not buy the unit. Imagine how I felt when warned by another Camping World employee that my RV could be sabotaged during detailing! (Apparently “detailing” is a fancy word for dusting and washing the exterior, because the generator didn’t start, nor would the stove burners light, outside storage latches didn’t lock, a window frame had a .25 inch gab and wouldn’t seal. There was a lot of road noise, in part because the television antenna was installed backwards.) Warranty service took nearly two months to complete! We see no reason to go back to Camping World for anything. We found other places for maintenance and authorized-warranty work. At time of purchase we bought a 7 year, extended-warranty elsewhere, because we saw complaints in Better Business Bureau reviews that mentioned C.W.’s “shady service people” and Good Sam’s deceptive advertising. Oh, it still makes us laugh to recall of our Boise Salesman’s pridefully announcement that Good Sam membership brings discounts and “we’d have one year, free parking in their lots.” (Ha! Ha! “Their lots” doesn’t refer to Good Sam’s.) Come on honey, I say to the wife, let’s go campin’ in the C.W. parking lot! Gimme a break. My Definition of a High Pressure Sale: My siblings have motorhomes and I wanted to test drive their unit shown on the internet. I stopped by Boise Camping World (C.W.) in Meridian, Idaho. Before we left, the C.W. Salesman said, in the presence of his “Daily” Manager, that he would meet any price at any dealer. I said my ability to pay cash should get our price lowered. The Daily Manager didn’t correct the Salesman’s statement that he could beat the other dealer’s cash-sale price. He looked up the cost, but made no correction to what the Salesman offered us. What sold me on C.W. was that we’d be moved to the “head of the line” for maintenance service if we bought from Boise C.W. (This doesn’t even make sense to me now.) The next day, the Salesman phoned and my eyes glazed over with his rehash that Boise C.W. “goes the distance” to gain and maintain us local folks, because mechanical service is where they make the bucks. Within 20 hours, my phone log shows another 5 calls from Salesman. Were we willing to pay this amount? Yes. He conferred with Sales Manager. We waited 35 minutes. Salesman called back to ask if we’d pay a higher amount. I handed the phone to my wife and the price raised to a yet higher amount. She explained we were waiting to hear from several other dealers. Exactly 2 minutes later the Salesman called, to again ask if I’d pay a lower dollar total. Well, albeit I was confused, I said “yes.” He “took that back” to Sales Manager who himself called to explain why we’d have to pay still more. Finally irritated, my wife asked for the phone calls to stop. Apparently Mr. Sales Manager didn’t tell Mr. Salesman, because our phone log shows he called back in 9 minutes and suggested we put a two-day hold on the unit. Salesman asked me for a reasonable deposit to hold the price for 2 days. Unfortunately the Salesman changed the amount to $2,000 after I handed the phone to my wife for a credit card number. She thinks he said if she’d allow more on her card, our potential purchase would get him a sales bonus and he assured her we would find no lower pricing within 48 hours. We did find the same, new RV for $2,450 less. The next day when we went to Boise C.W., the Sales Manager said there is no such thing as a refundable deposit to hold a price. When we tried to negotiate, the Sales Manager said he couldn’t come down on the price to beat another dealer. He used the word “legality” a lot. (Why didn’t the Daily Manager correct Mr. Salesman who repeatedly said he’d “meet or beat”?) The Sales Manager said he had ordered transport the day before (on a national holiday) and couldn’t change that order. Our deposit money was gone, he said. In fact, he could have cancelled the transport, because the driver didn’t leave until 72 hours after the alleged departure.) We almost walked out, but were disenfranchised by the loss of our $2,000 deposit. We called and wrote corporate and got a $10 coupon which we circular filed. We get our Mercedes warrenty repair at Lyle Pearson, Boise, and Dennis Dillon RV, Nampa. We got a 7 year extended warrenty from Nelson’s RV, Boise, and it was more inclusive and more cost effective than the scamming Good Sam, run by Camping World. Their mid-age founder had an accident (fell off a ladder?) and died in 2014… gee, since they know what’s going on… karma.

RV brought in for service 10/24/2014. Was told service will take 3 weeks. Picked up RV for trip 12/26/2014. Parts are still not in. RV had been broken into and several clothing items stolen. GM was paged to alert him of issue…after 15 minutes the receptionist hears that he isn’t working today. Whatever you do, do not use this facility, there are much better shops all over the East Valley area.
Where do I begin? This is
Where do I begin? This is our nightmare and possibly a lawyers dream! Well, we had been trying to buy a trailer from Camping World in Cedar Falls, IA for over a year (that should have told us something). We went through several Sales People (they seem to leave the company or were moved to a different department a lot) as they didn’t seem to know what we were looking for in a trailer. They would call us about ones with options that we told them several times we did not want on our trailer. I was tired of all the contact about ones we didn’t even want so I wrote an email to the CEO, Marcus Lemonis. I got the usual reply back from someone else he supposedly asked to reply with the usual $10 gift certificate attached. I finally called the first Sales Person, Susie, (she knew what we were looking to get) even though she was not in sales, asked her whom to talk to for us to get a trailer. She provided a name of someone and I told her I would call him. I called the next day and asked for him but was asked what it was about which I told them “we would like to buy a camper from you guys and need someone to help get us one like we want.” She transferred me to someone that said they were the person I asked for and that he was the “Top” Salesperson in Camping World. He also stated that he would help us get a camper that we wanted and asked what option we were wanting. I gave him the list of options and he suggested (very pushy) to come to see what they had on the lot. I mentioned we are a couple of hours away and we would be there on the Saturday, he would have options picked out to show us. In the mean time we checked the web site and found a couple of used ones and new ones. I wrote down ALL the information about them, stock number, description and price. They were running a special financing name your payment type of deal on the new ones and we thought that might be the way to go. We went up there that week-end, the salesperson met us at the door and took us to his office. I gave him the list of what we had picked out and he did not seem to have any options for us anyway. We went out to look at the used ones first and then he mentioned that we could get a better deal if we went with a new one. So he took us out to the new ones. We looked at the first two on the list which we really liked so he mentioned that we should not even look at the third one as it would just confuse us. We went back inside to talk it over and to see what we could do for financing. We decided on the first one as it was the lay-out that was best for us so we proceeded with “the numbers.” He told us that we would have 2-30 lb. filled lp tanks, 3 years of the Good Sams Club Elite membership, road side assistance, $1,000 in Camping World coupons, magazine, walk through and it would be detailed. He went over what we had for a trade and all its options then checked with someone else in a different office. He came back with an offer of $1,500 which was a little less than we were wanting and also wanted $1,000 down (10%) to get the financing we wanted. He then had the other person come in to go over our application to finance and we told him what we wanted the payment to be which he felt it could be done. We had to give them the down payment and sign the purchase agreement then they told us they would run it first thing Monday and let us know. On Tuesday afternoon I called THEM but could not get a hold of either of them and was told they would call back. Finally later that afternoon the salesperson called me to give me the financing details which the payment was twice as much as what we told him. He said that he would see what he could do and maybe get the payment down a little. Two days later he called and told me that he was not able to get it changed so I told him we would discuss it and maybe we would consider a different trailer. We got back on the web and checked the second

Traveled 1800 miles to pick up an rv that I was told countless times by more than one was solid and would get me back home but as soon as I pull out of their parking lot I quickly realize they never even drove this thing ( or maybe they did ) it wouldn’t even go 45 mph let alone 1800 miles so I took it back then the realization kicked in I’d been taken for $8500 they would not take it back and even told me that if I left it there they would charge me storage . They said they knew what the problem might be and called a mechanic out side their organization to try and get the part so I got a hotel for the night and went back the next day around noon October 25th and again they began their lies also went as far as to put a AS IS sticker in the windshield after I had left the day before so fed up so taken I called lady lakes salvage from down the road to come get it . Book a flight back home .

03/01/2017 Customer work order #25521. Had a blowout”s tire, took to camping world, couldn”t go anywhere else because the 2nd tire was leaking from a nail. So held captive. Pricing for labor was $130/hour (other places I called do it for $15 per tire), they used 2 hours to do 4 tire replacements. ($260.00 to mount 4 tires =$65.00 per tire). We were told by the service writer that this included dismount, mount, and balance of all 4 tires. When we inspected the trailer with the service manager, we asked if the tires were balanced, and he said no, even though we paid $65/ tire to have this done (ridiculous!). Camping world added $100 for “shop charges” and $17 for high temperature grease. Way over priced. We were told it was ready to pick up with the bearings replaced and packed, the brake and battery inspected, asked for the % of brake left. They were supposed to mount the spare and save another tire from it for another spare. They were to put on the fender flare that we provided. The bill for all that was $1500.00 plus! The paper work was not completed despite being told it was ready before we went over to get it. We paid and then saw the trailer. The spare was not mounted, , a valve cap was not on one tire. The fender flare was very loose, would have come off. For $130 labor/hour, I guess they should have had time to fix it properly. So because of these things, we wonder if the other work was even done and if done competently. The paper work did not say the brake percent, had to ask the service person who went to talk to the mechanic, who could say whatever he wanted to.. was it really right? So they found the spare, but could not find the trailer key. We left to have the work completed (correctly). We were called back about an hour later, went back (our gas money) to get it. Talked to the service person and the shop foreman. They nodded in acceptance of our complaints, but we have zero confidence that anything will be done. Poor customer service, shoddy work, not completed. Long wait times to talk to someone, even phone calls always go to voice mail, and hours before a call back. I don”t want resolution, because we will never go back there. We have 5 grown children in the area, and 6 of our own elder siblings, all who might sometime buy a camper or need service. None of them will come to camping world (alias Freedom Roads -but that is not on display anywhere). We are going to trade in for a motor home some time in the next 2-3 years, but will NOT go to camping world for that. All I want is for you to know so you can fix customer service and competency in the service dept.

1. Furnace Nov 11, 2017 Furnace fan was running when system off and furnace control board relay was cycling off/on every second or two. This is a intermittent problem, happened three times since purchasing camper. I pull fuse of furnace but relay continued to chatter so I open Furnace cover and turned off switch on control board. Finally got appointment to have this warranty issue looked at, hauled unit to Camping world and described problem and informed service person that I pulled fuse and turned off switch on control board. Picked unit up and was told that nothing was wrong with furnace not warranty and charged $138.03. Intermittent or not still warranty issue in my mind. 2. Front Cap Nov. 11, 2017 This is a new unit and cap gel-coat started to break down from top of cap to about 2/3 of the way down. Service tech at Camping World acknowledged that something was wrong with the finish and should be a warranty repair. Keystone denied warranty stating it was a maintenance problem. I”ve waxed unit several times since new and cap paint finish continues to breakdown.

10/9/2016 I went to return an unopened and unused generator at the st augustine store 3 days after purchasing. The store manager stated generators could not be returned and it was stated on the receipt. I left and retrieved my glasses and read the receipt. The receipt stated unopened and unused generators could be returned within 30 days. After I pointed this out, the manager gave my money back. I wonder how many people he screwed who didn”t read the receipt. I will never shop in any camping world store again. I will also let all my rv owner friends know about this also.

There was rust pits all over. the inside stunk. the slider window wall were loose. none of the electric blinds worked they even had the day shade zip tied up. The sales person named James was GREAT. But the store manager Roger was rude and nasty. They want 139, 000 for it I offered 125, 000 even thou I needed to fix a lot of stuff he would not come down. He said he had to much invested in it. I asked how long has the coach been there (expecting to here 6 mons) I heard 643 days…IOI. I said that is almost two years you had it here and you will not come down to 125, 000. I walked out. the coach needs ALOT of work. I did”nt know it set there that long. They could have told me. I would never had gone to see it if I knew that. So please pass this on so no one will get ripped off from this store. Thank you Dennis Wolfe

2019 Jayco Jayflight 265RLS. Had some minor things needing fixed during our walk thru. They TAPED the wiring harness up. It fell down while transporting it. The water heater toggle was not put back into place. The chair has 2 tears in the fake leather material and the wood trim around the slide-out was broken when they pulled the slide out in . The underbelly fabric has a huge cut in it. And a month later and the parts haven”t even been ordered.

After they got their money from their “sale”, they didn”t seem to care about us anymore. My husband and I waited 4 hours to pick up our camper that was “suppose” to be ready (after driving 2 hours to get there and then 2 hours back home). The hitch they ordered was wrong so they had another one in stock but that one was much cheaper and they told us that we could not have our money back for the difference. My husband could have put the $300 hitch on for free of charge. The “manager” sent word with the orientation specialist instead of talking to us personally that we were not entitled to a refund. Also we had to wait forever to get a copy of all the paperwork that we signed. It”s like after they got their money, they were done with us. They had to move on to the next victim. Our buying experience was great but the follow up was horrible. My husband and I will never recommend any of our friends to purchase from camping world. Kelley and Keith Brewer Purchased a wildcat ultra lite 31HB – $40, 000 !!! Sure wish we would have given our money to another company.

After working 25 years for camping world I was terminated from the Junction City, Or location. You have my file and it will show you all the stores I worked at, how many times I relocated for the company and how I went on the road for a year after Flaggstaff, As was destroyed by a tornado. I always had good reviews and great attendance record. When they terminated me from the Junction City/Coburg, Oregon store. I was shocked to say the least. For some reason the Freedom Roads people wanted me gone. They kept complaining about anything and everything till finally I was thrown under the bus on a customer service issue. Lack, Craig and Brad were the ones trying to push me out the door. Fired with no severance package after 25 years of which I was a service manager for about 12 years. Not to mention I was sick at the time and they knew it. Congestive heart failure with COPD. My time is starting to run out and had to get this out just to see if anyone there actually cares. Well this time I am very upset about first the body work that was billed out and not done…then the very dismissive attitude of your service manager of this store…the work that was billed to my insurance company was supposed to be completed, but was not short cuts were taken things weren”t replaced merely filled with two part epoxy. Awning arm was supposed to be replaced but they just put my old damaged arm back on coach. Holes were just left open from old awning arm.not sealed. I would like a reply from your office asap, fl work order # 51361 Email is= [protected]@gmail.com

Agreement was drawn up 20 July 2017 on my 302 Fuzion Toy Hauler by Eric Robinson. I left camper at shop to be repaired prior to sell by Consignment. It was then put in secured area to sell. November 8th I went to let them know I would be picking it up soon. I went to check camper, No TV . On 8 Oct. 2017 or around that date a sales employee Cora Martin helped me stage camper. TV was in there . When I returned 8 Nov. TV missing. o I reported this Sales Manager Greg Robinson wanted to investigate. Two days later I called him. He said give him another hour. He called back an asked if I had the check list when put on consignment. I said no, He said its standard procedure to make a check list of RV”s content when consigned. I said I didn”t get one with paper work. He said then it can”t be proved . I told him there was one. He said will not replace TV. He more or less called me a liar.

All I can say about camping world is buyer beware! I ordered a large camping mat for outside my trailer under the awning. It looked like a great deal at first. The mat was on sale for $34.95. Throughout the entire payment process, nowhere did the site indicate that I was paying in us funds. Even at checkout it said $34.95 plus around 12 bucks shipping. Unfortunately I live in canada, so when the mat arrived, it was over $80 on my credit card…$40 dollars ups fees and shipping to boot! I called customer service and said that I never would have bought the mat if i”d known it was in us funds, a duty charge and shipping! I did not accept the mat and sent it back to camping world. Instead of the full price being refunded, I got $64 can back in stead of $80… Had to still pay the ups store and so I am out $56 dollars for a stupid mat that originally cost $34.95! If you are canadian do not shop on the camping world website. It is a total rip off! Buyer beware!

An appointment is worthless, first come first served! After 3 trips to install and correct the sloppy work of the mechanics, I still have problems. First the mechanic had to tighten several bolts on my auto tow bar installation, before I even left the lot. 4 miles later, on the interstate, the brakes on my new car locked up from the improper installation of my new towing brake system. During a trial run of my new motor home with new car in tow, the towing braking system failed to work at all. This required two more trips to North Little Rock Arkansas camping world to fix. I ended up taking my new car to my auto dealer to repair damages done during the installation of the tow bar and braking system. My brand new motor home was given back to me with the leather seats covered in dirt and grime, a grommet missing from the brake pedal, ( they ran a wire through there ) and improper wiring to my tow vehicle, which rendered the new braking system useless. A total of over 29 hours in the waiting room, 900 miles of my time ( and gas ) driving back and forth and A frustration factor of 100. When I finally had enough and asked to speak with someone in management, I received more excuses and run around than a politician can give. All to no avail . Think it over several times before having them do any work, you will be putting your LIFE and property in jeopardy.

Approved for a “new ” 2019 keystone Montana. Completed the deal over the phone due to living 4 hours away. Notified the dealership I would be onsite at 4pm on Friday to sign. Arrived to find the unit had been gutted. No television in the living room. Trim removed in the living room leaving led light strip exposed over an 8 foot section. Ceiling fan removed leaving exposed wiring hanging from ceiling. Underbelly access panel removed with wiring pulled out into storage compartment. Water heater panel removed leaving a hole in the outside wall. Exposed wiring hanging from front bath ceiling. Sales manager refused to come see the unit for himself stating he was too busy so instead he sent a new salesperson who stated she had just started working for the company a couple months ago and didnt know anything about their stock. She did however call the sales manager while in the unit and was told to instruct me to make a list of what would need replaced so that I could file a warranty claim before purchase. Also stated items removed from my unit were needed for another customer so they had used it as a parts trailer. If there were items missing once I took delivery it would be my responsibility to file an additional warranty claim and return the init to the dealership for repair. Needless to say I did not sign and make the purchase. If this is camping world practices I will take my business elsewhere. Please advise.

April, 2018 we purchased a used 2015 Crossroads Sunset Super Lite travel trailer. After a trip to Georgia we stopped at a Camping World in Tennessee to ask a few questions with the service center. Since we were not given appropriate attention we felt we could stop on our return trip home. The second attempt to obtain professional and adequate attention was even worse than the first time. We spoke with a service advisor; he left to obtain information and never returned! After waiting 20 minutes we left. Our experience with Camping World was horrific but we felt it might have been a single incident at the TN Camping World. On July 27, 2018 a motorhome, while parking the vehicle, scraped the side of our Crossroads Sunset RV. Since we had an August trip to Minneapolis scheduled we felt it would be easiest to stop at a Camping World on our return trip to Waynesville, NC and obtain an estimate. The nearest travel trailer service and sales is in Asheville, NC and would require us to take time off from work therefore, we stopped at the Camping World 303 Sheek Road, Greenwood, IN 46143. Service Advisor Ray Shoemake, after much deliberation went out to our camper and took pictures with the managers phone. He repeated at least four times that it would be 7-10 days for an estimate. I completed the paperwork and reviewed pictures of parts requiring replacement. After 3 weeks I finally called Ray and left him a message. The female manager contacted me and indicated two things: first, the paper form was accidentally tossed in the garbage; and secondly, the pictures, taken with the managers phone were lost!! I ask you…how can both items be lost? I could understand a misplaced form but not lost pictures as well. The female manager had no idea how any of this occurred and never offered any solution to us. We now need to go to the nearest RV center, of which is Camping World, Asheville NC. We are terribly reluctant and disappointed with the service experienced. Not only are Camping World costs 3x that of any other RV service but our confidence and trust with their service centers are nonexistent. We obviously need to get our RV fixed with new parts but have already waited nearly one month and still have no resolution. Lastly, we have not been able to contact a Camping World representative despite multiple numbers given on the web to discuss our issue.

As a long time member of the good sam club with years of shopping at our local camping world, the recent ceo marcus lemonis” comments about president trump have me searching for an alternative retailer for my rv/camping needs. I don”t believe any ceo should take political party sides and to use his/her powerful position to promote a political view or agenda. I supported camping world when I could”ve bought the same product elsewhere because of the friendly staff, superior service. And large product selection. However, I feel marcus lemonis has crossed the line by making camping world political. I will return when he is no longer the ceo.

Nothing that president trump said could be take as support for racism except from people who don”t want to maga and love the ruling elite/establishment”s scam being run on usa taxpayers.

As a trump supporter, I will never buy at camping world again. Why? Your owner says he does not want republicans buying at his store. 60% of your customers are republicans. Republicans live in rural areas and love to hunt and fish and buy big camping gear. 20% of your customers are democrats. Democrats live in cities and do not like to hunt and fish or go camping. Your boss has just bankrupted camping world. Trump did condemn the nazis. Over 20 years, trump has condemned the kkk about 20 times. Check the web. Its true! Antifa was at the charlottesville riots according to a new york times reporter. She saw hundreds of young liberals with huge sticks brutally attacking unarmed nazis. Surely, nazis equal antifa. They are just as bad, just as trump said, just as cnn said, just as noam chomsky said. Your boss owes trump an apology for your bosses lies about charlottesville.

As an update to our Google review copied below, Albuquerque Camping World didn”t correctly seal the slide wipers, which caused extensive leaks leading to water damage to the kitchen cabinets. Camping World of Tallahassee estimates ~$1500 to repair. Camping World of Albuquerque has refused to accept any responsibility for the damage caused by their “repairs”. 6/6/17 – Arrived in Tucumcari, NM. Found our rear slide motor was bad. Called the CW Tech Help Line, spoke with Service Tech Joe, who initiated a 3-way call with Jennifer Housand, Service Manager. We discussed that they would be expecting me the next morning, with the parts either there or a day”s delivery away, as parts could be overnighted if necessary. I was assured that everything would be “ready to go” when I arrived. 6/7/17 – Arrived at 11:15. Had called around 10:30 to let them know we were almost there. They acknowledged expecting us. On arrival, no one knew who we were, and Service Advisor Simon Trujeque stated there were no notes regarding us. He consulted Jennifer Housand, who acknowledged we had spoken together, but denied all discussions that took place during the phone call, even stating that “they never overnight parts”. She also denied that there was any agreement whatsoever that “everything would be ready to go, ” and that nothing would be done until 1:00 when the service techs returned from lunch. Service Manager Jennifer demonstrated an attitude toward us with every interaction. In fact, nothing was done until I again called Joe at the Tech Help Line around 2:00, after which they finally got the coach in to investigate the problem. After a couple of hours, as expected, they reached the same conclusion that Joe and I told them they would find. Simon claimed no knowledge of the existing motor”s high failure rate noted by Joe, and advised that since the existing motor was functional, we only change the damage one. He was offended when we insisted that both motors be replaced, so that it would be a matched set. Service Tech Joe told me that Albuquerque is ringed by Camping World warehouses, and that there was no reason to ship the motors from Lippert (the manufacturers). Simon stated that Joe was a liar, and that all parts for slides had to come from the manufacturer. Despite Service Manager Jennifer”s earlier claim of never ordering parts via overnight delivery, the new motors were ordered for next day delivery at a charge of $100, albeit with no guarantee of delivery or installation when they arrived. 6/8/17 – Around 10:00, received a call from Simon stating that parts had been ordered and were scheduled for delivery on 6/9/17. He said that deliveries usually arrived between 10:00 and 12:00, but that it might be later. Assuming that they did arrive in that time window and if the repair tech began the installation after lunch, since four (4) hours were allotted, it should be completed by the end of 6/9/17. However, if they had to start later, it would be more like the end of Monday 6/12/17. Again, he refused to provide any idea of the likelihood of either scenario, and refused to advise us whether or not to extend our stay. Again, it was not his problem. 6/9/17 – Arrived at Camping World around 10:30. Simon stated that the parts were scheduled for delivery around 11:30, and reiterated that if the tech could start on installation at 1:00 pm, after lunch, they could have it completed by the end of the day. If not, it would be completed on Monday 6/12/17. As usual, he refused to speculate the likelihood of either scenario, ignoring again the necessity of extending motel stays. At 4:40, I called again to ascertain the status, and was informed that the repairs were completed, but that the new sealants needed to dry overnight before the slide could be closed. He told us we could take possession and drive to the RV park next door with the slide open (highly inadvisable!), or pick it up in the morning. I agreed we would wait until the morning of 6/10/17. 6/10/17 – Arrived at Camping World at 7:30 (opened at 8:00). Simon either had many problems totaling our bill or was deliberately delaying us again. He finally completed about 9:45. Camping World responded to my review (see below). As they requested, I tried to contact them by email and phone, on 4/21/18 and on 5/6/18. You guessed it, no response from Camping World! Their response here was just for show, not to resolve a problem. Response from the owner 6 months ago James, We understand why you are upset. That sounds like a very frustrating experience. We would like to talk about your experience more with you. Please call us at [protected] or email us at [protected]@campingworld.com.

Auburn Poulsbo RV is famous for giving people the run around, giving poor service and ripping people off!!! I found this out only after I went in and rescued my 5th wheel from them. I can only hope that you find this out before you fall victim to their shady tactics. The service is poor and the salesmen I dealt with, Stan and Bruce are out and out liars. Don’t have anything repaired there. They fix things so you have to bring it back again. They supposedly did a multi-point inspection. They supposedly repaired the hot water tank. If they did anything, it was done incorrectly. They were supposed fix the hot water tank. When I got it home, it didn’t work. I called around and took it to Camping World in Tacoma. That was also a huge mistake. They replaced the entire tank and installed the “one way” valve wrong. They also hooked my RV up to city water with out the pressure reducer and blew several lines. Now when I hook city water with the reducer to the RV, water pours out the fresh water tank inlet. This has been absolute madness. No one will accept responsibility for their actions.

Beware if buying a used unit from camping world st. Augustine. We bought a 2013 used unit and were assured the tires were fine. Pulled it home (40 miles) and 3 days later a tire exploded while the 5th wheel was parked in my driveway. I notified camping world with my concerns as all 5 tires were from the same lot 42nd week of 2012. Two weeks later we start on our first trip and 10 miles from our house we have another tire explode. Called camping world again for help but it was a saturday (Labor day weekend) and as you can guess they offered no help. They advised I call my road hazard company and file a claim. Six hours on the side of the road in the rain and $1400 later we were able to get the 5th wheel back home. The next day as we start back on our trip we see all the side panel damage caused by the 2nd tire exploding. Again called camping world and advise that I expected the damaged to be repaired and the 5 tires and the damaged rim reimbursed. Can you believe the gm ken stumpe tried to tell me we ran over something twice. Unbelievable! Then they come back with we were able to get the r/h company to cover all but $300 on the tires and we have reduced the body repair done from $2800 to $1700. They want me to pay $2k to get the 5th wheel back to the condition it was in before the defective tires exploded. I paid $40k plus a $7k trade for this 5ht wheel. If they would have said the tires needed to be replaced I would have negotiated the price down. Thank goodness neither of the 2 blow outs occurred while we were traveling over the shad”s 2 lane bridge. This could have been tragic. Huge safety issue! Randy rahe with camping world has refused to to resolve this issue. I will continue to post negative reviews until my 5th wheel is repaired and I am reimbursed entirely for the tires. Terrible customer service! I feel they are only concerned with making a profit. It seems customer safety and customer satisfaction is not a priority.

Beware!! We will never do business with camping world. We recently visited camping world, oakwood, ga in response to a used camper ad listed on their website for $8, 199.00. We called, verified the price and made an appointment and drove over 60 miles one way to their oakwood, ga location where the unit was located. We viewed the camper and liked it and the salesperson (omar benevites) took my husband”s driver”s license so that he could get a final price on the camper. He came back in and gave us a price of almost $14, 000.00. We asked for my husband”s license back because we had no intention of doing business with a company that would use one price to entice you into their location and then change the price. He kept up the high pressure sales even though we asked for the license to be returned 3 more times. Finally his supervisor, terry reno, came in and said the price had been raised due to repairs they had made. We told her that we had verified the price when we called and there were still repairs needed on the camper, so how could that be true. We finally got my husband”s license back and were able to leave. We would never do business with a company that uses the “bait and switch” tactic.

Biggest Mistake of my Life First let me paraphrase that I know this email will fall on deaf ears and end up in the trash, from the reviews I have read that is how you treat customers. Working with the store in Woodstock GA. I went on line and found the camper I wanted but it was in Savannah GA, My wife and I went to Woodstock store and asked if they could get it, I was directed to Carl Story whom I was told was the “Sales Manager”. We were ready to buy and had check book with us. We negotiated a price that included a washer/dryer and a pullrite superglide hitch, and gave a $3000 deposit. Carl ran my wife”s credit and came back with a 780 score and said he could get us 180 mths no problem. He said they would send for the unit and keep me posted. This was 9/3/18. I had sent an email on Wednesday 9/5/18 no reply. I followed up again Friday9/7/18 and Carl said it came in late Thursday. We went on Sunday 9/9/18 to look it over and approve, which we did. At that time we decided to pick it up the following weekend so they would have time to organize financing and get the hitch in. On Tuesday 9/11/18 I again had to reach out to Carl and Austin regarding the financing. Carl sent back stating 8.4%, 144 mths and my wife credit score was 714. Needless to say we panicked thinking someone was stealing her identity. I requested the credit report from Carl, I never received it which we have a legal right to. I had no choice but to get my own financing which I did not want to do. I emailed Carl this and he lightly said he picked up the wrong credit report, that it was someone with a similar name. I got my own financing and emailed again to set up a day and time to pick up the unit. Sales rep Austin chimed in stating we could pick it up Saturday, he is new and did not really know what was going on. I replied to him that they needed to put in the hitch. Austin said they could do that while we were doing final paperwork. My wife and I were excited. We showed up 10:00 am Saturday 9/22/18 to go through orientation and have the hitch installed. While they were putting in the hitch we finished the paperwork and handed over a check for $40, 000. I went out to check on the hitch and was surprised to see the wrong one installed. I reported this to Carl and he went to check. He came back with the manager and apologized and blamed the parts department. My wife was getting very upset at this point so we left with the promise the new one would be here Tuesday or Wednesday. We agreed to come back Saturday 9/29/18 to have the correct one installed and pick up the unit. We showed up at 10:00 am Saturday 9/29/18. We walked to breakfast while they were to be installing the hitch and when we came back the truck was back in the parking lot. I looked in the back and “surprise” no hitch. Carl made eye contact with my wife and went running to the back to hide as my wife was watching him. He sent a 20 year old kid out to give us the bad news that they had ordered the wrong mounting rails. The young man said they found the correct mounting rails in Conyers GA and could have them for installation Sunday morning. I went home and after cooling down I emailed the real Sales manager Eric Jarvis as to what has happened so far and how dissatisfied and heart broken we are. I noted that this was unacceptable and demanded they make it right as we have now lost 2 weekends without the camper. I insisted on an extended warranty to be 5 years beyond the 2 year Jayco warranty. Eric apologized and said he would be there in the morning to meet with us. Sunday 9/30/18 11:00 was the appointment to have the correct hitch installed and finally pick up the unit and meet with Eric. Sunday 10:30 I emailed Eric to make sure the parts were there and correct that we did not want to waste another trip. He replied that the rails they went to pick up were not correct. We would not have found this out until we drove there. MY WIFE IS IN TEARS WANTING TO SCRAP OUR WHOLE ADVENTURE. Also, not once has anyone reached out to me ever! I have had to initiate all the communication. 1/11/19 Saga continues 10/6/18 I went in to pick up the camper and meet with Wes the GM. We had a productive discussion, he apologized and offered me a ladder and the 2 year warranty extension to take effect after the 2 year Jayco warranty expired. Of course Wes did not follow through and I still have not received this in writing. I have the offer recorded for anyone that cares. I picked up the camper and took it home. I took it to my work place parking lot to practice backing up when I was done my wife took a picture of truck and camper to post our excitement on social media. My brother in law whom has been pulling a fifth wheel for ten years replied that the trailer was riding 2 – 3″ to high at the truck and would put extra strain on the rear axle of the trailer. Back to Camping World. I will say that the head mechanic there was very helpful. He took the unit in and raised the pin box so the trailer would ride level. Only took 4 hours. We took our first outing (shake down) and all went well. So, a few weeks later we took the Grand Kids out for a weekend. We lost power to the refrigerator, tv and an outlet. As I was looking under the trailer where the wires come in for that side of the camper I noticed, a bracket not secured to the slide. Not a support bracket, I think it protects the wiring harness. 11/16/18 Back to Camping world, I old them of the electrical issue and the bracket, showed them a pic of the hanging bracket. Todd wrote up a ticket and said it would be 3 weeks. I had no plans so that was fine. About 3 weeks later he emailed I could come get the camper it was fixed. I replied did they fix the bracket, he said if they didn”t it would be attached when I got there. Of course, it was not attached. Todd sent out a tech who crawled under the camper came out and said he had to order one, the weld was broken, he also took pictures of where it damaged the skin from the inside. I am not even going to try and pursue that one. I left the camper. This was early November 2018. A couple weeks later Todd emailed they were waiting for approval from Jayco for the Warranty. 2 months old at this time. He then emailed stating the approval came through but they could not find the part on the website and had to send a picture to Jayco for the part. He also said they were closed for the Holidays. Holidays have passed and I emailed Todd and Wes the GM that I wanted my trailer and I wanted it fixed. They have now had the camper longer than I have and I am making payments. I suggested taking the part from another Jayco to put on mine and replace the borrowed one when it came in. Todd replied he understood my frustration but did not have authority to do that, he would talk to Wes. I have heard nothing since. Wes emailed me on 1/14/19 that they would find the part or take off another unit and have it done by weeks end 1/18/19. Today 1/14/19 I was informed the parts would not be in until 2/11/19 due to a shortage. I believe I am just being lied to at this point. If at all possible I would love to get my money back and be done with your company forever, however I know this cannot happen and that nobody really cares, I am only 1 customer amongst thousands. All I can do is send you this email and post negative comments on social media, file a BBB complaint and give low scores on surveys. I work a manger job at The Home Depot and if one of my associates ever treated a customer this way it would be immediate termination. Thank you for your time.

Boise/meridian Idaho. Horrible customer service. I will not be bringing my business back to Camping world. For several days I attempted to get a part number from my RV to order. I spoke with both the parts and service department who bounced me back and forth and neither wanted to help. Both said it”s the other departments job. I asked to speak with a manager at 3pm and was told he is at lunch. I asked to speak with the team lead who I could hear in the background on the phone. They sent me to his message system instead of speaking with me. Camping world claims to want to put customers first but actions speak louder than words. I urge anyone wanting to use there service depart to look elsewhere.

Bought a 2004 class A rv from Camping World in Greenwood In in spring of 2017 and paid good money for all the warranties and 24hr roadside service, 5 months later went on a trip out west (1800 miles from home) and my inverter/converter went out, after several phonecalls and driving to a Camping World store in South Dakota, i was told it would have to be tested and there was nothing they could do for me. Had to buy a battery charger and “rig” it up myself to make it back home. Stopped in Nebraska to eat and came back out to find my a/c compressor and clutch had locked up and starter had went out. I called my “24 hr” roadside assistance at 9pm and was told nobody was available and to call back at 7am, called back then and was told nobody was available again, called Camping World and talked to manager and explained everything and was told “there was nothing they could do to help me”, luckily a local ford dealership came and helped me out (at my expense). When i finally got back home and made the trip to Camping World to cancel ALL my warranties and roadside service I was told i should be refunded most of my money, a year later and have only seen less than half! I”ve tried several times to contact Camping World management and never hear back and have also tried Good Sam only to be told they have to submit a ticket and i should hear back from them within 48hrs, its been a year and still nothing! Very Poor service and will never recommend Camping World for anything!

Bought a 2015 Thor Miramar 34.1 (36 ft) class a motor coach from Lakewood Camping world a year ago. Absolutely no one would walk us thru the coach after we bought it to explain any features. Waited for hours and no help. Couldn”t even get directions to get back on the highway to get home. Left for our first trip within weeks and the levelers would not work. We were camping in west Virginia that night and slid out of bed. The next day the fridge stopped working, awning lights quit and the steps wouldn”t work. Finally got to our destination in Oklahoma and had a local dealer (non camping world) fixed the issues. Since then we have had chassis electrical issues (both chassis batteries had to be replaced because they wouldn”t hold a charge). Awning only works when we climb on the roof and help it out. Doors on the interior have fallen off in our hands and doors come off tracks constantly. Tv antenna retractor also fell apart Also, windshield wiper fluid motor has never worked. We call and call Swedesboro Camping world since they are closest and tell them the issues and are promised a call back. Never get them. We call back several times and still no assistance. Totally unsatisfactory way to deal with your customers. You had zero issues taking $30k down on this coach from us. And now, I have a medical issue that keeps me from using my coach (severe Vertigo). We have contacted Camping world to sell or coach back and get the run around. Talked to salesmen “Eric” at least twice with promise to talk to sales manager, no call back. We call again and are now told they have enough consignments on their lot. Fine, check with other camping world locations to assist us. Is that a lot to ask? I even went online to your “we buy rv”s” site and fill it out. No response. I spent 24 years in the military to retire to this? Even when we started down this road to total disappointment and took it back to our purchasing camping world, the staff was astoundingly rude. NEVER will I recommend your company to ANYONE. Bought a 2016 Thor Freedom Elite from them. Water heater went out March 29 2016. Finally went in to fix in April. Had for six weeks. Tested it when I got home, still not fixed. Back in the next day. Had until June 1st, another two weeks plus. Picked up and left for trip to California. Within 45 minutes check engine light came on. Took to Ford and they found rodent damage to wiring. $440 repair not covered by warranty. Contacted Camping World and explained they had had it on their lot for the past month and a half. Was fine when it went in. In my opinion damage occured on their watch. General Manager denied they were responsible. Very poor service and lousy customer care. Will never do any repair work there again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this Camping World at all cost.

Bought a 2017 Thor Elite class C the end of November. We were instructed to drive it and submit a list of concerns. We did such and returned the unit on Dec. 9, 2016 for warranty work. it is now Jan. 2, 2017 and have had nothing but a run around. 4 calls to service advisor Mike Miller of Fairfield Camping World have gone unreturned. Informed the salesman, Joe Finch, that I would be seeking a attorney for a lemon law case. He didn”t seem concerned. Wish I had reviewed this site before buying this trailer. Don Helton [protected].

Bought a 2017, Mallard by Heartland from Camping World, in Oxford AL. Had three different window leaks that were never sealed from the manufacturing company. Also the pipes from fresh water tank was never connected by company. This caused water to run inside the camper from the outside vent, and rotted the master bedroom floor and wall. The leak wasn”t noticed because it was leaking under the step in the bedroom. When I returned it to Camper World on December 27, 2017, they only stated it”s not their problem, it”s Heartland. Camper World stated they would submit the issues to Heartland and if accepted Camper World would fix the leaks. I stated what about mold, he stated no he don”t fix mold issues plus you shouldn”t have any. As I inspected the Camper I noticed all seals around the doors and around the camper were only half sealed. I”m very dissatisfied with Camper World selling these campers knowing how poorly their assembled. And the fact that they wash their hands of the problems and place it on Heartland. The Service Manager was very disrespectful, acted like he didn”t have the time. Never introduced himself, held his hand up before I could say one word, as he didn”t want me to talk. I have never been treated so badly by a Manager.

Bought a brand new Travel Trailer end of last July. The gentlemen that sold it to us Jim was excellent. Service and management on the other hand not so great. Our first trip camping this summer it started to rain and our self leveling sun shade/awning collapsed. Contacted Camping world and had to call a mobile RV Tech to come out and help us. I was told it was still under factory warranty and they would submit it. My claim was denied and I was told by service I had to call the manufacturer myself to rectify the situation. The manufacturer rep was the rudest person I have ever spoken to. They wouldn”t help me either. I had to order my own part because Camping World couldn”t get it for 10 days. Majors RV in the Cape were amazing and got it for me the next day. The same Mobile Repair guy Chris from CP RV came out and replaced it for me he is also amazing. Come to find out it wasn”t damaged the original awning/sunshade was never even installed properly hence why it collapsed. I still a month later am still fighting with them to get reimbursed now that i”m almost $1, 000.00 in with this. They also replaced my blinds due to a recall and installed them incorrectly they don”t even cover the window properly. The service department is horrible with returning your calls and not to mention they sold me the camper but couldn”t tell me what type of awning we had on it. Ashley that works the front store was more helpful and got me the correct information. Spoke with the General Manager Danielle who also was so unprofessional, she seemed to care less what my issue was and was so rude Thank God she”s no longer there.in conclusion I will never purchase another camper from this company and I sure don”t trust them to service my camper either. Everyone I know personally who has bought a camper here have all had similar experiences.

bought a camper from camping world and they said nothing about any of the unseen water damage and leaks that the camper had and the back slide was damaged They agreed to fix it so they fixed it amung other small cosmetic things they fixed the rear gasket for the slide I had to bring it back because it was dragging on top ripping the gasket off I brought it back to get them to fix their mess up and they leave it out in the rain to cause more damage witch at the time mildew growing in the wall from the water coming in from where they claimed they fixed it I have documented everything pictures video conversations i even got the old shop manager to testify the things that he done he is on my side and no longer works there I showed him a video of it and they said that they would fix it no problem this is after they fixed the roof the first time I had a conversation with the manager and he agreed that the past manager should”ve done me right on this and assured me that it would be taken care of and shook my hand Weeks later I called and they said it was fixed so I went up there to find out they did nothing but claimed to have stopped the leak and was not going to fix the damaged wall that was caused by them fixing the roof priar now they refuse to fix it I bought this camper 8 months ago and they have had it for 7 months never got any update calls or anything I tried several times to contact them to find out what was going on with the camper and when would it be fixed so I can start enjoying my camper but they were trying to find ways to pawn this camper on me This is totally wrong for them to do a customer like this knowingly I just wanted a camper for me and my family to enjoy. This has been a total disaster and I wouldn”t recommend buying nothing from camping world They are crooks and liers They ripped me off 20k

Bought a gazebo, followed the instructions for erecting and as we had the gazebo on our patio, we couldn’t peg it down so we used the supplied guy ropes to secure it to trees and our house. It lasted 3 days and then with overnight rain, it crumpled. Camping World have told us that their tent and gazebo poles are not covered by a warranty. They also told us that we erected it incorrectly and that it is our fault the gazebo did not live up to expectation. No where do the instructions mention weighting the gazebo and the pictures on the website show no guy ropes or weights on the legs anyway. We have been offered NO OFFER OF REPAIR, REPLACEMENT or REFUND. Steer clear of this company and certainly of this product.

Bought a new camper on March 28, 2018 and returned it on April 17 with torn canvas, broke door, bubbled roof. The camper is still there and not fixed. They want to patch the canvas and I don”t want it patched due to its brand new. If I wanted a use camper I would have bought one but I wanted new. I have called to see what is taking so long and to make sure my camper would be ready by this holiday weekend and of course they have patched the canvas, but have not fixed anything else. There is no way it should be taking this long to fix the issues. I have even asked for a loaner camper until they get mine fixed and of course they don”t offer it. It”s not my fault they sold me a bad camper however they should stand good on fixing it and doing the repairs in a timely manner. It just makes no sense to have to pay for a camper I can”t even use. Holiday weekend is here and I can”t even use my camper. Someone please help.

Bought a new Jayco travel trailer in January. Table was broken when we purchased it but they said it would be fixed before we picked it up. Picked it up and table wasn’t repaired. Made a schedule to bring it back to have the table repaired. Also had the dewinterize done which cost over $70. Brought back to have table repaired and ask why the onboard water pump wasn’t working. Turns out that they never did the dewinterization which would explain why I had to flush the system to get all the anti-freeze out. Pump wasn’t working because they never turned the valve which would have been done had they actually dewinterized it. Argued for an hour with the service manager to get my $70 back for the work that wasn’t done while he rolled his eyes and treated me as an annoyance for taking up his time. Jo, the service desk woman lied to me and said that they never flush the system of the anti-freeze but the technician said in front of her and the service manager that they always flush the system after a de-winterize. No respect to customers who just spent nearly $30, 000 and to argue and lie is beyond just dishonest. Still haven’t received refund back.

Bought a new Mallard from camping world in Oakwood Georgia. They have had the camper since October it is December now. They keep saying they can’t get the parts delivered. All this work is warranty work. I was told Saturday that all parts were finally in. Well, today they say a part was checked off but not received. No one wants to do there job. What do we need to do to get the work done. We bought it to use not to leave at the dealer.

Bought MH in april and was excited about continuing our motorhoming adventures. We needed to downsize because our last MH was a 40 foot and we thought we would enjoy a smaller rig with my wife and I bnoth feeling comfortable driving. We took on maiden voyage and had some minor problems with coach which service department documented and assured us they would take care of and we could be back out They did not get all repairs done in less than 30 days and we had another trip to go on. After that trip we took the rig back to get 4 items done that still needed finishing along with 2 more serious items.. The dash consol came undone and it was dangerous for us to continue so we had to hire a contractor to secure for our 1500 mile trip back home, along with our awning completely breaking. We took the rig back in on June 23rd. we are still without our rig. Both Thor and Camping World are very poor at customer service and satisfaction from my point. They are great at point of sale but very poor at accountibility for themselves…Will never use again for anything!

Bought new 29fe freedom elite motor home; it spends more time at camping world than at my home. Here is my experience with Kaysville Camping World in Utah. Bought the motorhome and immediately realized it needed a second battery; no big deal as RV was already scheduled to come into service before we left the lot for bent poles that hold the scrapper mechanism on top of the slide.Took it in and they said they fixed it; when we picked it up looked the same but they are the professionals. During trip scrapper completely tore when we got back message from camping world that they never did the work because parts were still in service area. Ok, whatever… Took it in along with complaint about radio not working “crackling to point you can”t use “not what you want in something you”ll be putting long hours in. Also have problem with the battery switch sometimes not working which means no power to inside of RV. Checked on it after about a week and was told it was fixed “why they don”t call I”ll never understand”. Went and got it, new scrapper was installed and they told us they replaced radio and switch fixed. Got about 2 miles and radio had same issue so turned around and took it back. Told me they”d see what was wrong after watching technician beat the *** out of the dash. Checked back after a couple of weeks “no call again” and they said it was done. Went in and they told me radio is fine as long as I only use the back speakers; explained that was unacceptable and left it there. Called numerous times to check on status over next few weeks and finally they returned a call, they usually just let it go to voice mail and never call you back. Said they found a bad speaker on drivers door but they don”t know who to order it through, either ford or thor. Went and picked it up while they figured that out for next trip. After picking it up battery switch stopped working again; went on a forum and ole timer told me to rock the switch back and forth a bunch of times to see if that worked. It did…weird but RV got power and it worked fine after that. Went on next trip and wall of cabinet over fridge just fell in, then all the seals around vents fell out of channels, molding in bedroom fell off, battery switch stopped working again and water is coming into living area of RV every time it rains. So had the RV for about 7 months, only 4 camping trips, and it is complete junk. Took RV in with this list of issues only to be told the awning is not all the way retracted, I explained that we retract it but as it goes down the road it sags out about 4 inches so they told us they would fix that as well. Now the RV has been in shop for nearly 30 days during the summer “I”m in Utah” so camping season is limited due to weather for this latest list of issues. We wanted to do some rafting so went to camping world to get some items out of RV and explained we expected it back by now so we needed to get into it for items. After 30 days nothing has been touched, went back into service and they told us they are waiting on parts and get this that includes the radio speaker that was originally an issue when we first got it. They said, are your ready for this…We have to determine who to order the speaker from, Thor or Ford. At which point we just shook our heads and walked out. Now we”ve had to cancel some trips due to no RV “SEEMS TO BELONG TO THEM NOW SINCE IT SPENDS MORE TIME THERE THAN ON MY PAD”. Been calling all morning and nobody will return a call to let them know we have a trip next week and would like the RV we purchased back. So now I”m going to have to go in and sit across from a service guy “name is Bo” absolutely horrible and he”ll tell me what another service guy once told me when I had to do same thing “our mechanics don”t have computers so we”ll have to go over these one at a time to figure out where we”re at.

Bought the camper in July 2015..the sales experience was great! The problem is with the service dept. the calls to the service dept started in March 2016 when we were having problems with our air conditioner and radio..we had also noticed streaks all across the ceiling from front to back shortly after the camper was delivered. We were also ready to get the warranty work done on it..After attempts to get things set up with Rick Gutherie the service manager we began handling things thru Casey Sullivan the asst service manager. Its easier to get in touch with a Dr than getting Rick Gutherie to return a call or at least an email.Casey sent a tech to our camper twice and picked the camper up twice to go back to Camping World Chattanooga..The air conditioner had to be replaced as well as the radio and front door latch..Nothing was done about the ceiling with the first two trips to the camper by the tech or the first trip back to Camping World..the second time the camper was taken for 3 days to replace the ceiling panels as we were told.when we get the camper back it looked worse than before.they said they washed the ceiling and had replaced nothing but of course we weren”t told until we asked.I emailed Casey the morning after we got the camper back from them.she said she was going on vacation and would call me when she returned to work.its been 3 months now! My husband talked to Rick Gutherie and he said he would talk to Keystone and get back with him.its been 3 months! I sent an email to Casey about 2 months ago and ask for our spare key back that was sent to Camping World with the camper.she never got back to me so I text Bill.Bill was the driver that picked up our camper.he called and said he told Casey and Casey didn”t want to talk about our camper me or the missing key! So that”s where we r now.spare key gone, air conditioner still turning off and on when it reaches the set temp, streaks all over the ceiling and we haven”t been able to level the camper since the first trip to Camping World.Rick Gutherie and Casey Sullivan won”t talk to us or even email us! This is the second camper we have bought from Camping World of Chattanooga..if we can”t get these things fixed we will never buy from yall again!

Brain the sales manager. DON”T DEAL WITH HIM. Does not know his product or the product he stocks in the store. First time was wanting to by a matteres for motor home, had a sign at the door of clearence and mattress on sale. Asked him to see them and they were not in store. Lost a 300.00 sale. Then called the store wanting to purshes a 200.00 a tankless water heater. Tells me they do not stock them. Question is what do the stock? Save yours self the frustration and do not go to the Belleville store.

Brandon, Adam, Anyone at Camping World, Is there anywhere besides Camping World that will do warranty work on my RD-210? As you are aware I”ve had no satisfaction from Camping World Colfax. I”ve had this 2017 RV 9 months and have yet to have an experience without issues. I really would like to return the RV if at all possible. After the last visit The RV came back to me with serious mud on tires and Bird dropping all over the thing. Now every time it rains I get water in the floor of the RV. That was not happening before I left it there to fix the air conditioner that didn”t work, the toilet that leaked, the USB ports that didn”t” work, and the missing floor staples. Possibly a roof leak where the air conditioner was replaced? In any case I”ve purchased a brand new Heartland RV in October of 2016. It is now July 2017 and I have yet to have a camping experience with it without issues. I would prefer a Refund or at the very least a very quick response, repair or alternate place of warranty work. It is now the 4th of July and I have zero confidence in taking this unit on an outing. Camping World, Good Sam, somebody please help with this issue. Randy & Marcia

CALDWELL LOCATION ARE SCAMMERS BIG TIME!!! My sales person was very nice, however dealing with the finance department is a nightmare!! Shaun in the Finance Department is one of the rudest men Ive ever had to deal with! After I came in and signed paperwork to see about financing, I wanted to see if I could get a better finance rate through my credit union. So I needed a copy of the terms/paperwork they quoted me. I called in and asked for my sales person. He said all my paperwork is now in finance and transferred me to Shaun. He asked what I needed it for and then proceeded to ask my why Im looking elsewhere and that if I do that, I lose my $1500 credit for financing with them. I said that is fine, please send me the paperwork, he said he doesn”t have it and I need to speak with my sales rep. I told him that is who just transferred me to you. And I quote him exactly “I don”t know why he pawned you off on me” Really now? I thought I was the customer here spending $25k with you, regardless of who I finance through?? I refused to do any more business with him and then only spoke with Chris the finance manager. Once I came in to sign paperwork and pick up my trailer, I got the complete run-around and HUUUGGE sales pitch on warranties. I told him no, I was not interested. He told me for only $10 more a month I could get a warranty that I actually was interested in and for $10 more a month, I thought it was worth it. Well then he pushes me out of his office to go to the front counter to get my “free” book of campsites and $25 gift card and said he will print out all the paperwork for me to sign in the meantime. The gal at the front counter then proceeds to walk around the counter and say she will get a basket and I said for what?? She said well Im going to show you around the store and explain all you will need for your new trailer. I said no thank you, I have no intentions of buying anything here or anywhere until Im home and get a list of what will be needed. So she STILL walked me around blabbing on and on for 30 minutes!!! Finally Chris comes up to me with all the paperwork and has me sign everything very quickly. I trusted him as to the terms of the loan he had already went over with me and had on paperwork I saw in his office. Bad mistake. There was a reason they push me out of the office and have the gal “distract” me for 30 minutes. They know you are ready to get out of there by that time. The contract was wrong!! He added on another 2 years to my contract due to the warranty. He NEVER told me it would add on 2 more years of financing!!! He only told me it would be $10 more a month. And the contract had a bigger finance rate than what he told me. I called and said this is not what I agreed to, so he did have me come back in and reduced my payments and interest rate, but I still had to have the additional 2 years added on. They are scammers big time!!! Then a few weeks later I get to the DMV to get it registered, wait an hour only to get up to the window with my entire package of paperwork they gave me, to be told the pink slip I need is not there. So the gal at the DMV was super nice and just called over to Camping World and spoke with Shaun to see if he can fax it over so that I would not have to wait again. She said he was very rude and acted put out. She said he told her they have been trying to get a hold of me and has it on his desk but cannot fax it because I have to sign it!!! Their mistake so why was he so rude!!! And if they had been trying to reach me, would I have waited at the DMV for over an hour?? I would NOT recommend doing business with Camping World in Caldwell. They are very deceitful, if you do, read over the paperwork VERY, VERY carefully before signing anything and be expected to be there 3 hours for all their ridiculous sales pitches!!!

Calera Alabama destroyed my satelite system and said coach was in said condition when they received. But your service writer inspected my coach upon arrival.and only noted a piece of molding bent. The tech and service manager are liars and hacks. I paid C.W. $2700 to install the system when I purchased the coach 2 years ago and now they refuse to stand behind their mistake. It also took 4 weeks to repair 3 minor problems. Of course the service manager and I had words to no avail. He instructed me to pick up my coach asap otherwise I would be charged storage fees. I plan on bringing a law suit against Calera. If your service writer and I both know my satelite dome was fine…then you have some liars in your service department.
