We went to carmart of waldorf to purchase a 2012 Chevy Van from Sean. Car was not disclosed as Salvaged. Sean took $1000 deposit from my husband and then later while we were on vacation requested another $900 cash. My husband trusted him and gave him the money. When we returned from vacation we went to his office. He did not have title to the car. I asked for our deposit back. He kicked me out of his office. He wanted to speak to my husband (who is international) He promised him financing, and a bunch of other deals. We looked up the car, it was salvaged. He would not meet us for closing and kept our deposit. Suntrust bank wanted him to bring original title for closing. He hung up on me as I told him that we would need to go to court if we did not give our money back. We went through a horrible experience with him and feel justified in taking him to court. Others need to be aware of the scams he is pulling in his office. Terrible guy to deal with!
