28th June: We purchased a rug and a Healthy Living pad for our living room, with Ruggeri installers to perform the work from Nancy. 13th July: When the crew arrived, they began the pad installation without the proper prep work that comes with the installation as advertised and paid for with the Healthy Living pad (antimicrobial pre-installation treatment). I contacted Ruggeri via phone while the installers were still at the house (I was in Ireland at the time of the installation, my wife was at the home), and spoke with Dianne. She said an owner would call. The crew completed the pad installation without the proper prep work, and finished installing the carpet and left. My wife noticed two stains on the (white) carpet. 15 July: 9:30pm – left voicemail at Ruggeri (I returned from Ireland). 25th July: I called Ruggeri as I still hadn”t heard. Spoke with Brian. Paul is there, he”ll have him check with Nancy when she gets in around noon. Left my cell #. 2:50pm Nancy called me. She spoke with Paul who offered $100 credit. He”s away until the 8th August. I outlined my request: new crew, new pad with proper preinstallation, and new carpet. She will talk with person covering for Paul but may need to wait for his return. 1st August 1:25pm: called Nancy for update. She said Peter is coming tomorrow and she”ll call me in the afternoon. 2:30pm Nancy called. Peter is proposing to send same crew back out, clean carpet, remove it, remove pad, do proper pad install and reinstall carpet. Told her no. She said I”d have to wait for Paul on Monday 8 August. I said fine. Told her we still haven”t been in the room. 2nd August 10:45am Nancy called. They reordered carpet with next Friday 12th August as install date. Will not be same install team. 12th August 9:40am – same install team arrived at home to clean carpet, remove it, install new pad with prep work, and reinstall same carpet as removed. Told them it isn”t what was agreed to. They called Ruggeri who told them to leave. I called Nancy who referred me to Paul. Paul argued with me that it was his decision to not install a new carpet as Nancy and Peter didn”t follow protocol, although he agreed that they did say I would be getting a new carpet with a different crew. After a heated discussion, he refused to help me further.
