Cashier at store #96 named Dewight knowingly overcharged for a sale of a refill and refused to return any change. I asked Dewight if he could explain why he refused to charge the correct price for the $0.85 refill after i paid $14.00 for my CEFCO cup and was told by the store manager upon purchase all refills were $0.85. Dewight knowingly lied and told Me after I handed him a dollar I had no change and the sales price was $ 1.50. No one at the store but Dewight is overcharging customers. I have receipts to the affect of how much I pay for a refills daily. He also refused to provide a receipt. Store #96 on 9-13-2019 11pm Dewight is stealing from the register and customers and refusing to do the right thing. As it stands I am still owed change. This is so unprofessional.

The clerk just looked at me when I walked in, no acknowledgement of any kind. Being someone who runs a customer service department I understand long days. So I ignored that and waited for her to be ready to check me out. When she returned to the counter she mumbled and looked at me. I had to directly ask if she was speaking to me and that I was unable to hear her. Her response was “well I said I can get you over here” I paid for my product and had to ask for a receipt.. again no acknowledgement of any kind. She handed me the receipt and stated after she fixed her till and said “it must be a full moon” I did not understand this statement and asked her what she meant by that. Her response was “I”m having to deal with you and all these grouchy customers” This angered me greatly. I felt like I had to defend myself but she wouldn”t even stand there with me to finish the conversation. I told her that I deal with customers every day and maybe if she”d acknowledge their presence and Be polite people wouldn”t respond that way. She walked away and proceeded to yell across the store that she deals with customers all day too. I walked away and then returned to ask for her supervisors information. She said “her name is sandy, she”ll be her tomorrow. Go ahead and call her.” This was an unprompted conversation all I asked for a receipt. Nothing rude or aggressive. I understand sometimes you have a customer that Provokes confrontational situations but I had done no such thing. I am extremely upset over this interaction and feel that someone needs to address it. I no longer care to stop at cefco and if I hadn”t felt threatened by her I would have asked for a refund. I cannot believe you allow this in your store. I normally have courteous and helpful service but to have an employee make a side remark is absolutely unacceptable. I felt uncomfortable, threatened and attacked for no reason.

Every night that the assistant manager works she puts a closed sign on the door but it is not locked. If a customer comes on in she will cuss at them saying ugly words with can”t you see I am closed. It is only when she works that this happens this is a 24 hour store. Two nights this weekend it happened. This employee also is the rudest person there I will never understand how she was chosen for assistant manager she has no people skills whatsoever.

First of all, when some one gives you their availability and you schedule that person for every shift outside of their specified available hours, you”ve guaranteed yourself an employee who doesn”t want to work there, which, in case you are unaware, effects the customer service aspect. Most companies are aware of this and make efforts to keep their employees. I guess cefco doesn”t care about that. Second, quit promoting your crappiest employees to assistant manager. Not only are you pissing off your loyal, hardworking employees, but you”re making it harder to keep people, which pisses off your employees even more. When you promote someone up, especially someone who has no management experience whatsoever, at least train them. Don”t just throw them in to the frying pan. And, no, showing them how to do paperwork isn”t training them. This is pathetic. I”m so glad I don”t work for you people anymore, and I will continue to tell people to avoid your stores. Has been a regular stop for us in the past. Filled up with gas for $55. Cashier (Chelsey Hill) rings up my order for snack, ice cream and dvd. I pay and realize it”s more than I thought. I”m still at the counter with change in hand and proceed to tell her that I was over charged. The DVD was in a $10. rack but cashier said it was in the wrong place and it was $21.99. I am complaining because we paid for 10 dollars in gas the cashier put it on another mans pump. I noticed our pump stopped at 5.25 and I went in and told her. She said oh the man told me the wrong pump. So we paid for his gas. We paid with a 20 and we got 10 back.. Also pumped 5 so 10 and 5 was 15 we were still missing 5 dollars. I tried to tell the woman that we gave her a 20 and we pumped 5 and only got 10 back. I was told to shut up and that I was wrong.! The cashirler who I thought was the manager said that. I was very shocked. So I said can you not talk to me like that you do not treat a customer like that. She finally listened to me and gave me the 5 I was owed. The cashier that made rhe mistake in the first palce told us to get out and get gas somewhere else as if it was our fault. We went home and I told my mother in law and she felt luke she should have apologized and so did i. I am filing a complaint on sandy hudspeth for the way she treated me as an employee. I worked for store #544 & sandy hudspeth was really ugly to me!!! On 6/15/18 she came in at 6:00 am & took my register over & belittled me in front of all the customers that were in there for no reason!!! Teresa hinson was showing me how to make the tea because I hadn”t worked there long. She was treating both of us like we were dogs in front of customers!!! On 6/17/18 she came in again at 6:00 am belittling me again in front of customers!!! She took my register over again & wouldn”t let me count it down. She counted trendar down & I saw her put $100.00 in her pocket. She called me at 9:00 am & told me I was $90.00 short on trendar. When I called her she said I was $100.00 short. She sent me an email with my shifts deleted for the next week saying I was $100.00 short on trendar. I had taken $600.00 from a customer for diesel & I counted it twice!!! One time when he gave it to me & a second time when I set each pump for $300.00. Then when she came in & counted it down she said nothing about it being short until she called me at 9:00 am. I promise I saw her put $100.00 in her pocket. She wanted me out so she did that to have a reason to get rid of me!!! I am an honest person & would never steal from anybody or my job especially!!! My husband passed away 6 1/2 years ago & I have been robbed blind & ran over because I am a good person & say or do anything about what these people have done to me!!! This kid tried to burn my house down with me in it & has destroyed my riding mower & I have no way to cut my yard now because i”m scared he will kill me & my animals!!! I asked for a pack of Marboro menthol 100s and pointed to the ones with a coupon the girl handed me the Marboro menthol lights I handed them back and said these are not correct I”d like the Marboro menthol full flavor the solid green ones I was on my phone so just grab the cigarettes and went to leave and when I got outside I realize they were wrong I went back in and said no these are not the right ones still and a girl name Tyra came over slammed the pack of cigarettes back on the counter that I was trying to hand back and yelled for the other girl saying in a very rude tone, your gonna have to give her a refund! And walked away not saying one word to me. To this I said I”m sorry but I clearly asked for the Marlboro menthols and she cut me off screaming at me that I was on my phone and she can”t get me what I asked for because I was on my phone now get out girl bye! Shocked I then say no mamn you can hear me no matter what”s going on you need to learn your products, and tell her forget it I will just keep the wrong cigarettes and to this she says no customer service doesn”t deal with people on their phones it”s your fault you shouldn”t have came in here on your phone so get out and I said mamn you need to set an example screaming at a customer in your store isn”t the way and I”m sorry my being On the phone does not make you unable to hear what I asked for. The store had other customers and other workers and they all looked shocked as well. This all happened at about 10:15 PM on January 13, 2020 in temple Texas 31st street location by Walmart. I go to this store every night after work and over the last 2 months it”s gotten just terrible the line takes at least 20 minutes almost every night to just pay for gas. There is no sense of urgency or care for my time in fact they look mad that I bothered them. This woman tonight though was so aggressive I felt forced to buy something I did not ask for or want and my money and business is just not appreciated or wanted there. I come in here every morning on my way out of town and purchase a coffee. Every day all size coffees are advertised to be .99 and usually there aren”t any Large cups available, but for certain there aren”t any extra large to be found. The girl that”s working is a black woman, probably early thirties, I see her alot. She”s never very personable, doesn”t greet me at the door or at the register, doesn”t even look up at me at either point, I”ve never seen her smile, or wish a customer a good day, I”ve not seen her even PRETEND to want to be here one time in all the mornings I”ve stopped at this cefco. Today, however. I asked if there were Extra Large cups and an eye roll was my only reply. Then when I asked if I could use a fountain cup, for my already poured coffee because my cup was bent as were all the rest and I didn”t trust the lid to stay on properly I was informed that she didn”t know what to tell me, the kids were one size fit all and with another eye roll asked “so was I gone” buy the coffee or not.” I don”t know if this is just a terrible company to work for or if her mom just died or what the case was to explain this TERRIBLE excuse for customer service today, but I”m one hundred percent going to go MILES out of my way to stop at a different location and plan to see to it that everyone I know does the same as well from now on. I”ve never been treated so poorly, or with such disrespect by someone who is very literally getting paid to do nothing more than adequately preform duties in a CUSTOMER SERVICE position.

I don”t go to cefco a whole lot but when I do need milk or something quick I go in there due to there is only a few stores in our little town. Normally I am not one to complain and maybe it”s due to my old age but today I went in there and it rubbed me the wrong way. I know I grew up in a different era and time but I still feel customer service in important to a company. I believe I have been to cefco about 9 or 10 times this past month, so my complaint is based on those 9/10 visits. My complaint is, when I do go in there, I feel the workers are very unprofessional. Such as today, I go in there just to buy a newspaper and as I”m waiting in line, the young short Hispanic lady (don”t know any names) is hollaring at some children sitting by the register to sit still and be good. So I”m guessing she is working with her children there. Another lady (white gal, looks in her 30s) in a cefco suit is standing there griping about things to this cashier that has her children there. There both laughing and jibber jabbing and I pay for my newspaper and leave. Without ever being talked to at the register, it is like I was not even there and these two gals act like there at a cafe having girl time. That is just today. The few times I”ve been on there the past few weeks, same thing, one time these two same gals are outside smoking and gabbing, I go inside and no workers. They did eventually come in when I got to counter but no talk to me, just to one another. Now I understand it”s a new day and age, but I feel these Young”s one these days still need to learn customer service and professionalism. These are important things to keep a company”s name and business running. I have been in this store before when a curly haired girl was working, she was very nice. Also, one time some tall young lad was very sweet and nice. So I can”t say it”s all the workers. I am basing this complaint of unprofessional behavior more so towards the times I”ve been there when these two gals were working. I can look at their names next time if needed, but for now all I can say is this short Hispanic looking gal and this cacasion brown haired gal are not seeming to represent this company in a professional manner. Griping and talking and having their children there while customers should be their first priority. Like I said, I normally do not complain but today I just left feeling as if I left a day care, gabbing center. Just a little, hello, how are you, have a nice day can make a difference in how customers feel. This may not be important anymore due to its not the 50s I grew up in, but I do think it needs to start again. Should I have asked for a manager or someone to talk to? I go to cefco 28 alot because its close to my house… Ever since this new manager has started up there the peoples customer service skills whose being hired has dropped drastically. Just a few names I read off name tags were shannon, lori and chelsea who were very rude and tend to be on their phone when they”re expected to actually help customers. There is a few very good workers I have came in contact with that are very hard workers and have been there everyday I come in. I don”t remember their names but they both work in the deli area and are very on top of their work. I come in the mornings around 5ish before I go to work to get coffee and breakfast and will usually come back around lunch to grab a bite to eat for my lunch break. There is almost always a young girl working in the morning who is very polite and always running around. Her name starts with a “c” I just cant remember what. I just don”t want to see the very few workers that actually care about their job get dragged down by the ones who do absolutely nothing. I like going to this store just for the ones who do their job but always avoid going in when I see the few bad ones working. I really hope the right person reads this compliant and actually does something about it or I will have to take my business elsewhere. Thanks.

I recently quit working at cefco store 1075 in longview texas.. The reason I quit has to do with the store manager. I called in sick one day and the next day I had customers come to my second job telling me that she was talking all kinds of trash about me.. Lisa is not a good manager be any means. I stop to get change for my sons school lunches and I asked if they do cash back, the other girl working said with minimum $3 purchase and I grabbed a few items and went to checkout and and it wouldn”t do the cash back. When I got home I checked my card balance… I was charge twice for one purchase and 3 times on another. What is wrong with this picture. Now I have nothing on my card and can’t talk to a rep.
