Dr. Robert Gargano

If I could rate Dr. Robert M. Gargano, then I would give him a big fat zero, nothing more than that. The doctor himself is alright, however, his staff and colleagues are unbearable at best. They gave me a referral to a place which doesn’t accept insurance and after talking with some of the other patients I found out that they do this with every patient who needs a referral. So if you get any referrals to other places from Dr Robert M. Gargano’s clinic then always call them and check if they accept your insurance. Because of nine out of ten times, they won’t! They sent me to a place to get the MRI and the people there did not tell me that they don’t accept my insurance until after they did the MRI. They referred me to 3 other places for different tests and none of them accepted my health insurance and thus ended up costing me more than $300. And that is just the cost of the tests, Dr Gargano’s fee itself is sky high as well. The front desk staff is the worst at this place You will have to wait for ages before they let you in. I went here with my son, the doctor suspected that he might have some allergies so he insisted us to get the allergy tests done. I was assured that these people would not charge me for the appointment of the allergy test. I got the appointment and got the tests done, now I was confirmed that there will not be any copay for this visit. I came back home with my son and left their facility. Last week, six months after that visit, I received a bill from Dr Robert M Gargano’s office. I contacted their billing section to clarify the situation, I told him that this was absurd and before I could say anything else he started cursing me and he even called me an idiot. He certainly did not have any customer relations skill and he was quite rude as well. He was not willing to talk or solve the situation, he just wanted to argue and waste precious time. He hung up when I was in the middle of a sentence so I decided that I will not pay the bill. Today I received a call from the collections company’s office, they stated that I should pay up the money or they will have to take some “ugly” actions. I told them that this bill is totally unnecessary as I have paid for the whole thing six months ago, however, these people did not listen to me. I would advise every one of you to stay the hell away from Dr Robert M.. Gargano and his clinic. This guy is running a scamming facility that should be closed as soon as possible, he is stealing money from his patients! I hope that you learn something of value from my experience.
