Helping a friend in need is indeed what they claimed they were doing when offering to sell me a car for $250.00. When time to pay off car came the price was then raised to $350, biting my tongue as I had invested in this automobile to make driveable and increase the value of couse of my investment I began to pay the balance. Having invested over $1500 into this car by now and increasing the value from about $500 to $2000 or more due to upgrades I tried to pay off car and was told Ethan wanted more money again and that he would talk to me and she refused to take the pay off. Several months passed her claiming to be my friend all along, her husband went to jail and was to talk to me again about the car when he got out. Well, when Ethan got out of jail I went outside to find my car not only stolen but everything in it as well including my stereo equipment worth $1500 or more. They were holding title so had every legal right to take it as they were friends and we only had a verbal contract and was still registered to them. They wouldnt give me a bill of sale…. These friends. So after about a month of them saying Ethan is going to talk to me and they are not going to keep my stereo and were going to work out something with the car, I still have nothing and now they wont answer the phone or come to the door.
