Everlast Paving will Neverlast!! Substandard materials and lousy workmanship. Beware of this scam artist and liar. He will take your money and run and you’ll never see him again. Peter George came to my home with his 16 year old son in March 2014. He gave us an estimate to replace our driveway and asked for an $800 deposit. We signed a contract with a 5 year “guarantee” against sinking, cracking, or chipping. To get Everlast to start the job was a nightmare. A lot of promises and excuses (broken truck, etc). Finally started the job in May after stringing us along for two months. After removing the old driveway he told us it needed to settle for a few days. The next thing we know, he put down the asphalt without waiting for it to settle properly. Plus, he didn’t put a thick enough layer of asphalt. Within a few months the driveway began to chip on the sides. Another contractor observed that it was “too thin.” Also had too much gravel and not enough asphalt. Called Peter in October to come look at the crumbling driveway. First he blamed us for the problem. He said we seal coated too soon. He agreed to look at the driveway, but said he was on a job in Albany for a month. Then he was in the hospital with pneumonia. Then it was winter. It is now a year since the work was done. He promises to come. Then we wait and he never shows up. He doesn’t return our calls. Peter’s contract and guarantee is a joke. .
