EXPRESS AUTO CENTER 1209 N Hollywood Way Blvd. Burbank CA 91505. Dear sirs at The Ripoff report: I took my car to the address above for an AIR CONDITIONER GAS RECHARGE and a guy called JERRY told that they would recharge it at a price of $ 109, but probably, I would have to come back if the compressor was broken. I took the chance and paid $ 109. JERRY said he would give me credit for a new recharge if that was going to be the case (if I have to buy a new compressor). Running my car the air conditioning when off in less that 30 minutes. I came back following day. JERRY said the compressor was broken and I would had to buy a new one at the cost of $ 400. His work would be $90 and taxes around $100. Total would be cost around $ 600. JERRY said he could not find anything cheaper, because I ask him to look for it. JERRY acted like he was looking. When I was waitting I look for a compressor for my car ON LINE from my cell phone. I found a compressor in AUTO ZONE for $ 198 !!!!!…. JERRY got really mad when I showed it to him. I even told him that I would go and get the compressor myself and bring it so he could change it, and we would be done. JERRY star yelling (Told me that he would not change nothing for me ) and he ask an employee to take my car out. JERRY WONT EVEN GIVE ME MY $ 109 THAT I PAID TO GET MY CAR AIR CONDITIONING FIXED. I WAS ROBBED BY THIS THIEF. THIS IS HOW THEY DO BUSINESS—— I hope you guys can do something to stop this thief steeling money from other victims. Thanks for your attention to this report.
