Arrived at the Queens Center mall Glamour Shots for my sons 1st Birthday photos, only because I had a $100 gift card given to me for my baby shower, $100 was by then $60 because they charge you $40 for a sitting fee ( really for a 1 year old) The girl who helped us settle in was very nice and friendly, at this point prices are not discussed or displayed anywhere, 20-30 mins later and a fussy baby, the photographer was ready, he was cold rigid and not baby friendly at all, seemed very stressed and frustrated??? wanted Me the make the baby smile??? isnt it his job. They have NO props at all, I had a balloon, teh number “1” that was used with some of the shots, and these old blocks were also used, the rest of teh pics were on a sheeton the floor, with no backgrounds?? At this time my husband and I were frustrated, HOT and not satisfied, we tried to complain to someone and they said not to worry that we would love the pics. We waited another 25-30 mins to see the glamourous photo display on a large screen with music, and yes the pics werent so bad, however how can an adorable baby boy come out bad in pictures??? It wasnt that the pictures were great is that my son is cute!! The owner Kenny, put togetter a breath taking collage and announced the grand total to be $2, 500 and $45 if we wanted any enchanced with colorization overlay/blk/wht or sepia. My husband atthis point stood up and walked out, I clearly said that those prices were not in our budjet and I only had $200 to spend. He at this moment lost all interest in us since we werent spending over $1000 and was rushing me and asking if I had a credit card if I wanted to open a credit from them to finance the pics. I ended up choosing 2 poses and paying an extra $45 to enchance one of teh pictures. 3 weeks after the pics were taken I called and they said that they werent ready and had to call back the following week because they were re-ordered, They called the following week and I picked them up a week later, 5 mins before the shop close, I paid my balance and left the store, when I arrived one of the two pictures was over exposed, my sons face and shirt blended in with the wall, the picture was terrible and it was teh one we paid an extra $45 for. I quickly tried calling customer service and they were closed I called teh folloing day ( Monday) left a messsage and nobody called me back, I called again Tuesday and was able to speak to someone that said that they no longer work with teh Queens center mall store and gave me another number, I called that number to be told that I have to deal with the owner kenny again?? Really?? why would I want to deal with them again?? Never ever again, Glamour shots is a rip off and their pictures are really not all that they seem in their website.

Back on Feb. 1, 2016 I had gone to Glamour Shots at the Rockaway Mall. The photographer & makeup artist were very professional, it was the manager that really wasn”t. After I had some pictures taken it was time to order the shots that I wanted. The first thing they do is show you what was taken, then they force their finance company on you so that you can purchase the pictures. So my girlfriend & I chose the pictures that I was going to have put in a book for my husband for Valentines/B-day gift. After spending a total of 3 hours there, I went home still in shock of how much the pictures was going to cost me. ($1400) The next day while my girlfriend was visiting me I received a phone call from the manager of Glamour Shots & he said that they had some great news. The owner of the company really liked my pictures that I had taken & they wanted to hang a picture of me on their portrait wall. I was stunned, but also felt giddy inside. The manger had stated to me that if I just paid for the portrait to hang in the store they would pay for the matt & frame & everything else that I took the day before. I asked how much that would be & they told me $299.00. I said that would be great! When I received the bill from the finance company I found out that was ($1400) + the ($299.00) for the portrait. I of course was upset & called the store to find out what had happened. I was told that no the deal was for the package (1400) plus the $299. I had said that”s not what I heard & told them that I was not going to pay for anything. The manger came back & said that he would take off the $299. I think its wrong that this company leads you on & then pulls away from the the good deal over the bad! I have been complaining about this ever since I had the pictures done. I have also called the finance company & told them I was disputing the amount I owed!

Be careful of the luring e-mail coupons received from Glamour Shots. I clipped the coupon & scheduled the appt. only to find out that the stores get to choose which part of the coupon they wish to honor. In my case they upped the price of the makeover by $10.00 from the price listed on the coupon. This is my idea of a scam and poor customer relations. Passing the buck by saying “our corporate office puts those coupons out” still makes YOUR COMPANY look bad and lost YOUR COMPANY my business. If it is in black and white HONOR IT or correct it before it hits the consumer’s inbox!

i am a member of “social living”. i bought a 100$ certificate off of them to get my kids (ages, 3, 7, 11, & 15) pictures done for christmas. when i called to find out the details i was told i could use the certificate as the deposit. when i called to make the appointment-i was told i needed another 80 for deposit. fine. so i take my 4 very busy children to the photo shoot expecting maybe another 150$ tops would be reasonable and the closest glamour shots to me was the altamonte springs mall in fl. they were very nice, took 52 pics of my kids and got the packages ready for me to look at. starting w/ one that was almost 3000$!!! i was astounded. I explained again that i have a very small family and only need 1 or 2 photo sets depending on the pricing. the manager was very pushy about the whole thing and i was getting very uncomfortable. i turned to check on my kids and they were nowhere to be seen. the other two people there had watched my kids run out thru the mall without so much as a warning to me as the manager tried to sell me something that i obviously couldn”t afford to buy. at that point we were down to 2 photos which as sets are 1-8×10, 2-5×7 and 8 wallets. my kids were now missing and they were worried about making a sale! i threw my card at them and they charged another 269$ and change on top of the 100$ certificate and 80$ deposit. i wanted to cry. i am a single mother of 4 and make minimum wage. if someone comes in your store with coupons that ought to tell you right off that this is something that they can”t normally afford. i am still extremely upset at the way i was taken advantage of. they didn”t care about me as a customer or my children. i work in customer service and would never treat a customer the way i was treated that day.

I am a professional freelance makeup artist. I applied at Glamour Shots for a job as a makeup artist because I”m currently in a “lean” time and would like a part-time job that fits my skills. As is usual in the industry, I took along a portfolio containing photographs of the work I”ve done in the past. The interview was very positive and I was asked to come back the next day for a technical interview (doing a glamour makeup look live at the store). The manager asked if he could keep my portfolio overnight to review it. As I would be back the next day, I allowed him to. The next day, the manager was not present. I did a makeup look on a photographer who told me, “nobody ever gets to this point and doesn”t get hired… Unless they”re really bad at makeup”. Being that I”m rather skilled in makeup application I took that to mean I would, at the very least, meet with the manager again and at that time could reclaim my portfolio. The next week, I called in to the studio to ask about the status of my application and was told the manager that interviewed me was not working at that store anymore. He had turned control over to another manager to give his attention to a studio in his home state and hour and a half away. Despite several calls to the Orland Park Glamour Shots, the new manager refused to speak with me or call me back. I finally got a hold of the original manager at his home studio. He told me my portfolio was not in his possession and should have been left at the Orland Park studio for the new manager to review. Again, I called that studio and asked a photographer to look for my portfolio. She called back several hours later saying it was not in the studio. Since I”m currently interviewing for positions with MAC Cosmetics, Benefit Cosmetics, and sending promotional materials to publications and agencies, my portfolio is essential. Reprinting it did not come at a small cost. To date, I still have spoken with nobody in management at the Orland Square Mall Glamour Shots. I consider this theft of personal property. If Glamour Shots chooses to actively recruit industry professionals, they must maintain the standards of the industry – and that means return of materials after review.

I am reporting this to the better business bureau. this franchise is clearly a bait and switch scam. I agreed to have my 3 children”s picture taken yesterday December 16, 2007. during this time I was never given a price list nor was anyone helpful in assisting me in providing any further information on pricing until my sons” picture were taken and displayed to me for viewing. This is truly a bait and trap scam. After my sons” picture was taken the young lady still did not show me a price list but instead wrote out prices and informed me it would cost me from $1200.00 to $2000.00 to get my pictures. Immediately I felt this company or franchise if you will is pulling a large scam in Staten Island and I expect to proceed to spread the word if this is not addressed immediately. I was not told of any holiday specials as I see on the current web site. Instead I was told the cheapest package I could get was 1-8 x 10, 2-5 x 7, and 1- wallet size sheet of pictures for $360 dollars. Unfortunately I felt trapped in this scam and I bought 1 package that cost me $363.00 which has now left me with no money to make a proper dinner for my children for Christmas. I cannot believe I was not even give a choice to break pictures up for different prices!! Another example of what appeared to be a scam to me was that I was also not told that any sheet I wanted to choose that had my 3 sons in it would start out as $60 per person in the sheet. In other words I was told that I had to pay $180 PLUS and special effects that provided within the photo. But I was not even given that price either for special photos! This site is run by young girls that do not have any information on their product. I will NEVER refer this place to anyone else again. Disappointed.

I can not believe these stories, I had the same experience with my 5 year old child. Here is how the scam works. They encourage you to bring multiple outfits/props, therefore making selection of photos more difficult and confusing. This is a classic bait and switch operation, the mafia is cheaper. They show you a package for a child they starts at $99.95 for 1 8X10, 2 5X7’s, and 8 wallets, they will NOT break this into different poses NOR will they give you rights to a digital image, NOR will they switch out wallets for any other size of photos (how many wallets could anyone need?) of your photos unless you are willing to pay nearly $3, 000. I am not kidding. They start quoting you prices in the $3, 000 range on pictures of a child, that barely need retouching and have a few digital coloring effects. I ended up paying $200 for a dress and one cute change of outfit and $900 to Glamour Shots. FOR: 4 poses out of 80 and a slide show that is USELESS other than for a memory, you can not print photos off of this CD. It is more like a wedding momento so you can be reminded of all the photos you couldn’t get the ‘picture mafia’ to unlock with thousands of dollars. To walk out of that place with anything that is framed is about $700 plus tax. They use high pressure sales tactics, tell you that the company will erase your digital images within 48 hours if you do not sign right there and then (after you are exhausted after the whole picture taking process) and have a mystical pricing system that is not written for you to see anywhere. It reminds me of used auto sales, vacuum, and snake oil classic rip off scams. I will end up with a few sheets of unframed pictures in an envelope for my $1000 that I didn’t have. I can’t imagine how they get any repeat business. They better stick to very elite areas. I even noticed on their web site a new spring special for $9 for a 5X7 and mini wallets. HAAAAAA… BAIT AND SWITCH!!! They offer you finance agreements for no interest for 6 months on ripping you off. I did get some nice pictures of my beautiful daughter; but with technology advancing daily, other outlets can do this kind of work. If you have $3, 000 laying around the house, hire your own personal photographer already!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! HIGH PRESSURE, RIP YOU OFF FOR MASSIVE AMOUNTS OR MONEY USING YOUR LOVE OF YOUR OWN CHILD TO DO IT! 1. slick bait and switch 2. emotional slide show to sentimental music 3. huge price quote to see how far they can push you 4. offers of mounted prints for $700 and up 5. a slide show with no copyright value 6. their hair and make-up ‘artists’ have no qualifications or stylist/make-up licence ( I can’t imagine their make-up is hygienic), a classic example of a very, very unscrupulous practice. You are a pretty low business if you use the love of a child and other emotional components to rip off people for in the thousands of dollars. You end up walking out with a a bunch of loose photos that cost you a mortgage payment.

Glamour Shots Licensing Reviews & Complaints
I had my pictures taken about a month ago at the Glamout Shots studio at the Parks Mall in Arlington, Texas. My mother, who is now deceased, had her picture taken at Glamourshots about 10-15 years ago and gave it to me as a gift, which I cherish to this day. They did her hair professionally, her make up and did a beautiful job. Considering her age, they had her wear a hat as well and it helped hide some of the flaws on the face that come with age. My experience was not the same. The person who did my make-up and hair was the manager. He did a terrible job and hair and they were not busy – I was the only one there. When you cake on make-up and tons of powder on a middle aged woman then she smiles, guess what, wrinkles really show up when you smile. The make up was just thrown on rediculously with no art to it at all and my hair was supposedly “done” with a curling iron stuck in it twice. I have short hair, but even I have to use the curling iron in it all over, not just in two places! I was really looking forward to the event of having my make up done professionally and a hairdo done professionally. Instead I had a flat head of straight hair and my make up looked rediculous, but I thought they knew what they were doing and it would maybe show up different in photos. I was wrong. Now I realize why they do your make-up that way, so you HAVE to get the extra cost of the next step up with the enhancement finish for them to look halfway decent. I had cakes of make up in the wrinkles under my eyes which really showed up in the photos. My eyelashes didn’t even show up and they are long and thick but since he didn’t even bother using an eyelash curler you couldn’t even see them. My make up looked terrible! Then when you sit down to review your photos and make selections, you’re sitting several feet back while they’re on a computer screen and you cannot really see or get a glimpse of what your pictures will really look like until you get them. Then you have to make this decision from what you see on the tiny copy screen and pay for them. They have no refund policy. When I went to pick them up only after I called three times after their due date, I just had to accept the crappy photos anyway or have nothing for the money I paid. I can see now why you have payment up front because if it was when you picked up the pictures, they never would be refunding all the time since everyone realizes how crappy they are! Summarizing I am not pleased at all with the make up, the hap hazard way my hair was supposedly done and the end results. I believe i was ripped off big time and will never go there again. They only get my money once. Don’t you make the same mistake.

I had pictures done at the Glamour Shots in Fairview Heights IL. They told me the lab wouldnt print one of the pictures because it was innappropraite (It was for Valentines Day for my boyfriend). I was ok with that, but i did wonder why i was allowed to order the print at the store if it was that innapropriate. I said that was fine, but that i expected a refund for the print (50$) and the airbrsuhing (70$). Well the sales rep was so “sorry” that she offered to email my photo for my problems said she would refund me. Well now they are saying the emailed picture was sufficient enough and that i dont deserve a refund for any of this. Are they serious? 120$ for an emailed picture that i could of done with a digital camera. I still have to find a company thats going print this picture and pay for the print. They have terrible customer service, they never call me back like they kept saying they would. They acted like im being difficult, just because they dont want to handle the issue. In all i paid over 200$ for 1 shot that wasnt even that nice and took 21 days to even show up. Please do not fall for this rip off!

I had received a call from the sales rep stating that the manager came into the store to review the store”s sales for the week. He proceeded to tell me that one of my pictures had been selected to be hung up in the store and after 30 or 60 days (I”m not for sure how many days was quoted to me) I would get the picture and the frame and in addition to that I would receive a CD with all of my pictures on it. I was really excited until he told me that it would be a charge for this ($399) and how there was only two spots left. I told him that I was not interested because I had already spent a substantial amount of money on pictures already. Then I went to pick up my pictures from the Deptford Mall location. I had a few questions about getting the pictures that I had purchased on a CD and why the DVD I was given would not allow me to copy it. He seemed to be a little irritated because I was asking him questions. He told me that if I wanted the pictures on CD it would be $116 per pose. I proceeded to ask him why would I have to pay for the poses that I actually purchased. He said that he could only email me the one pose because that was a package but not the other because I only purchased an 8×10. I did not agree with that because I paid for that one as well. I have not received an email with the picture yet. I paid $431.00 for a value package, image collection, and an 8×10 which I think was extremely expensive but to be greeted with a nonchalant attitude because I was asking questions is unacceptable to me. To me it says the sale has been made and we do not want to be bothered anymore. This is bad business because now I would not recommend Glamour Shots to any of my friends and family for this reason as well as because of the prices. Overall, this experience has been a learning experience. As a consumer I feel as those I was suckered by a good salesman.

I had some photos taken at one of the studios, Glamour Shots at Town Center in Kennesaw,Ga.as a present to my husband the original price was $189… and by adding a few touch ups..it ended at $3,300.00… and with a change of heart I phoned… the next day to get the basic package only, to no avail… from the local store to the regional manager… then headquarters… with lo luck! I had asked for the 24hour period… allowed in most cases… his response was. The proofs go through the internet… and they are processed immediately”. Their customer service did not reply to my letter, the Corporate office was closed… I phoned again the local store, several times till the manager [the one tacking the photos]… and her answer said…”you will not have to pay till Febr… 2008″… as a consolation! I have already payed them, #154.00… but I am ready to forgo any pictures at this point.

I have always wanted to take some Glamour Shot photos of myself, to give as gifts to family members, and for my own home. Like for so many of us, pricing and priorities are an issue during these hard economic times. but I had saved some extra money for Christmas gifts, so I went ahead and made the decision to go forward with Glamour Shots. I knew that the pictures might turn out to be somewhat pricey, in the $100″s or $150.00″s, according to an earlier phone call to the store. I had spoken to a lady, and she had told me that the photos fun for about $30-$40 dollars a sheet, depending on the size of the picture, and the amount of photos I wanted to purchase. I went to my appointment, very tired, may I add, right after work, but very eager to do the photo session. The young lady tha did my make-up, hair and photos was very good, I had a pleasant conversation with her. As a matter of fact, everyone was nice to me there. When it came to the time to pick out the photos that I liked, another girl assisted me with the pricing. I found it odd, that before we started the selection of pricing, she asked me what I did for a living, but I blew off the thought and continued. She offered me 3 different packages to choose from. The first one was in the $2, 000 dollar range, the second one was in the $1, 000 dollar range, and the last one was in the $500 dollar range, I gasped! I did not expect these numbers. I then asked about the separate sheets at $30-$40 dollars like I was recently told, and she said that it would come out more expensive that way, that the packages are the way to go for a better deal. By this time, I had picked out only three poses that I liked. I asked the young sales lady, if there were any other cheaper packages, and she said no. The photos were very pretty, so I was unsure of what to do. I asked again if she can give me a break on the package, and she said no. Finally, I gave in to the last photo package for a grand total of $543.19; including 1-8×10, 2- 5×7″s, 8 wallets, & a CD with all the shots, and a 10×13. Still I thought this was very expensive, but trusted what the sales girl had quoted. I was running late, trying to get home, signed all the papers, and paid in full as requested. When I said good bye to the team of three: the young male manager, the sales girl, and the photographer/make up girl, none of them made eye contact with me; and barely said goodbye. Before the purchase, everyone”s demeanor was warm, nice, and friendly; now they were cold, and evasive towards me. At this time, I was the only customer in the store, neither one of them seemed upset with each other, or preoccupied with any task. They were all just standing around the front desk. The negative “vibe” and intuition I got from them was… “Angie, you”ve just been scammed.” Of course I have no proof of this, but unfortunately my gut feeling is always right. The next day I went away for a 1 week vacation. All this time I was thinking… “I got ripped off, ” and very upset with them, and with myself for allowing it to happen. When I came back from vacation, I read all the Glamour Shot complaints on- line, and there and then, I knew that I was right. I wanted to make sure that I had my photos in hand, before I confronted the store manager with the price package that I was given. I went to pick up my photos, and saw the CD, and everything looked great. Now with pictures in hand, I asked the manager if I could see the package print-out of my photos. When the girl originally showed me the prices, she had them hand written on a piece of paper, no formal store paper. The manger said he didn”t have that paper, that something is wrong with the computer. Ah ha! I went on to tell him about how I felt, that I was scammed, even though I have no proof. I stood my ground, and told him that I would never do business with them again, nor recommend them to anyone. After the fact, I realized that wedding photos with a professional album can run you from $1, 000 on up, and here I just got a few sheets of over priced paper. I hope all out there will read this comment, and learn from my mistake. Always go with your first gut feeling; it never lies to you like other people do. I”m sure these young employees are following the store policies, I don”t really know, but, regardless, these pictures are completely overpriced, so please beware.

I have never heard of this service before, yet they keep calling my phone over and over. I think they need to work on their form of advertisement, if that is what they’re doing. But calling me repeatedly is not the way to do it. I would highly appreciate it if I was not on a calling list or called multiple times. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.

I received a email, for a free session and 10 X 13. I scheduled an appointment for 11/16 at 4p.m. Their last appointment of the day. I get call today tell me that day is not available and they don”t take pictures that day and wanting a $30 session fee. Iliana gave a bogus name said her name was Puff I said no it”s not. You left me a message and when you answered the phone you said Illiana from Glamour Shots. I asked her if Puff was her last name she said no and refuse to give me her last. I asked her for Manager she said she was the manager then I asked for Glamour Shots complaints. She gave 800/glamourshots didn”t work. A while later Roneique called she said she was the Glamour Shots Chino Hills manager I informed her Illiana said she was the manager, lied about her name and was completely unprofessional, laughing at me. She tried to schedule a different appointment for me and fix it. I asked her for the complaint # and was given 714/774-9039 it rings busy. I tried it 6 x”s so another bogus #. Wow!

I recently purchased some coupons from Eversave for a photo shoot for my daughter and I at Glamour Shots in the Florida Mall. It took me almost three weeks to get the manager to contact me because the lady who answered the phone was refusing to allow us to have our pictures taken the same day! This was supposed to be a special occasion and turned out to be an event we will never do again. We were there for almost 8 hours! The ladies were nice and the photographer was sweet. She had to make accept ions for me due to my disability, I could not do all the poses she wanted me to do. They re curled our hair a couple of times since it was taking so long. Once it was time to review our pictures the attitude changed. We were faced with prices in the thousands of dollars! She made it clear they had made an accept ion for us and that she could not make any adjustments or create a package together. She would not create a package for us, just kept saying she doesn”t have that kind of package and let”s go over the pictures again. We tried to negotiate for over an hour and my daughter finally got up and said she was done. That”s when she told her that if she did not pick some pictures then they would all be gone and she would not be able to buy any later because none would be saved. We ended up with a deal that was not satisfactory at all! With all the time we put into this they could have made a deal, I think they were unhappy that they had made an accept ion with us. I would never recommend them to anyone! We felt like we were being interrogated!

I recently visited the glamour shots at Arizona Mills in Tempe Arizona. the experience was ok in the store, it was after the session that the fun started. The makeup was ok nothing really that stood out and I agree with another poster that the makeupis caked on. Since I dont live in Arizona I asked for my free portrait to be mailed to me. they called me in a week that my portrait was ready and that there was a re-order special for all my photos on a CD. I ordered this and was promised the photos would be re-touced and mailed to me in 2 days. this became a week and I called atleast 7 times, the manager refused to speak with me. I finally called Glamour shots customer service and was given the # of the owner. she finally got my CD and photo mailed to me but the CD is not touched as promised. Save your money, this store is a complete rip off in prices during the session, they then call after 2 weeks to offer a discount. getting the photos is a pain and customer service is non-existent. They probably hire people with the lowest IQa and a shady background.

I saw on Groupon a ad for the Glamour Shots located by my house in the Bridgewater Mall it was a really good deal it was one retouched picture for $19 I read all the fine print and was excited to get one professional picture done I could use it on some of the websites I use. One of the first things I was asked for was my social security number and a second form of identification I asked the sales girl why and she told me so I could get pre-approved to finance my picture package out right then I should have stopped the Service. The photo shoot was fine and the pictures came out good but the sales girl was so aggressive at the end in trying to get me to purchase a package of pictures prices ranged anywhere between $395 to over $1, 000 I was not going to spend that kind of money.Every time I was about ready to get up and leave she came up with another price I only wanted to get what I paid for one nice picture. Glamour shots does not want to do that they want you to pay more money for retouch and this and that. Basically you are paying $19 to get a selfie hey I can do that by myself at home. A lot of bait and switch with pricing no prices were posted either at the store the whole situation made me feel like I was royally screwed over. The bottom line is Glamour Shots places ads on Groupon with teaser prices to lure customers in the door then they pressure the customers to pay outrageous prices for picture packages.

I set up an appointment online to do Glamour Shots with my family (about 8 of us). When they called me to confirm that we were on for the appointment because it was the day after Thanksgiving and they felt it’ll be busy, they also asked me to put down $20 to hold the position which I was fine in doing because I thought that it would go towards the total price. I asked the guy what the packages were and he gave me a line of BS that said that Packages start at $130 and that he’d explain them to me that day. When I got there he said the same thing and that payment was due that day and I signed a contract. My sister had gone there 2 years ago and it cost her only $300 for just her package. We took a series of pictures and tells us to be back in a 1/2 hour. He wasn’t ready in a 1/2 hour so we waited and waited and waited. Then he finally showed us 6 (JUST 6..where the others went, I don’t know!) out of the 100’s he took of us and some of them we didn’t like. We picked out 5 that we really liked and he said…well, you can do this and that and this and it’ll cost you this…OVER $2, 000!!! He said that each picture that he took was $130 PER PIC and that if we wanted it on DVD it would be $160 per picture because we’d be buying the copyrights. We ended up buying 4 pictures on the DVD which ended up costing us $640 anyway and got no hair and makeup done! What a freaking rip off!!! It was much cheaper to have Kodak develop the pics for us then it would’ve been for GS! And it’s been over a month and I still haven’t gotten my free 8X10. We were all soooooooo disappointed & disgusted at what a scam this is. We could’ve gone to Sears or JCPenney’s and got an entire package for a heck of a lot cheaper then this place. I don’t recommend anyone going there…it’s highly overrated and a total RIPOFF!!!

I stopped into Glamour Shots to see what they offer. I was shown a portfolio of their work to include their “Glamour Touch” and other specialty products. I was very impressed by the Glamour Touch since my daughter has a scar that she is very self-conscious of on her forehead. The sales woman agreed that this would take care of the scar with no problem at all. I was also told that the photos were $45 per pose per sheet. I mentioned that I wanted these pictures a my daughters senior pictures and she offered me the “Graduation Special” which would allow for us to have a free 8 x 10, which she recommended we get her picture taken in a cap and gown. I gladly made an appointment for the following week, at which time I was asked to pre-pay the $25 sitting fee. When I arrived the following week for my daughters appointment, 5:45pm, they were running extremely late. After waiting until 6:50pm, the manager came to me and asked me to sign their paperwork, at which time I read that the “Glamour Touch” effect was $75 per pose. At no time was I ever told this prior to reading it on the paperwork. Had I known this, I would not have made the appointment at Glamour Shots as I cannot afford the $75 Glamour Touch process and I could get the pictures done elsewhere for less. I was so upset and told the manager that this information was kept from me. She argued that they always tell the customer all the process. Since she was not the woman I originally spoke with, how would she know what I was or wasn”t told. Regardless, I am the customer and all she really needed to do was apologize for the “mistake” and we could have moved on. Well, she couldn”t do that. What she did do was accuse me of either misunderstanding or not paying attention to the sales woman the week before. This infuriated me and I told the manager that if it wasn”t for the fact that my daughter as looked forward to this all week, I would not get this done. Her response was “Well, you won”t get your sitting fee back.” And she proceeded away. . . which, considering how angry I was, was probably a good thing at that point. Now we are back to waiting and waiting and waiting. Another woman came to do my daughter”s make-up. It did not look very good so I offered my assistance and finished her make-up and styled her hair myself. I was not happy about this at all. Come to find out that the woman was actually a photographer and not a hair stylist or make-up artist, she was only helping out because they were short staffed. The photographer (not the same one that attempted the hair & make-up) was actually wonderful. No complaints there. I was waiting on my daughter and the manager came to me and said that she was going to make sure I received a free 8×10 for the trouble. She did not use a very nice tome or demeanor. I am not sure if she is aware the I was already supposed to receive one from the Graduation special, so I told her “I am supposed to get one with the Graduation special.” Her nasty response, “Then that makes two, doesn”t it.” What a piece of work. It is now 10:30pm (the mall closes at 9:30pm) and we are now ready to choose my daughter”s pictures. There were digital 67 images to go through. The manager came over to tell us to hurry about 6 times within 15 minutes. The final time she stated, “I really would like to hit the road sometime soon as I have a life.” I was shocked and appalled. I told her NOT to come near me or speak to me again. I was told the pictures would be in the following week. We left at 11:15pm. Exactly one week later, they called and told me the pictures were in. I went to pick them up and they could not locate them. Okay fine, I will while they look for them. 45 minutes later, still no pictures. They told me that if they could not find them this evening, they would re-order, but they would call and let me know tomorrow afternoon. Two days later, after not hearing from anyone, I called back. I was told they did not find the pictures and they would reorder them that day. If I had not called, when exactly do you thing they would have place the re-order? Anyway, they told me that they would be ready for pick-up in one week. After 9 days, I don;t hear from anyone. I called to see if they were in. I was told that they were mailed to my home. Another week goes by, I call to say I have not received any pictures through the mail. They told me that is because the pictures are there waiting for me to pick them up. I go that evening to pick up the pictures and 4 poses are missing. Will this ever end? So now they have to re-order the 4 poses, which will be ready in one week,. One week later, they call me to say the pics are ready. I go there and they are still one picture short. I know the drill. . . one week. Time get past me and it is, again, 9 days and I am call them. Oh yes, the picture is there. When I get there, it is the wrong pose of the wrong girl. I asked for a refund as I did not want to drive down there again. I was told under no circumstances was that possible and that I should just be patient. Patient? I have been more than patient. I am done. I don”t have the picture and I don”t have a refund. For almost $400 i received: – A ton of aggravation – A display of unprofessionalism like never witnessed before – A lack of respect that every customer warrants – A loss of time, which is irreplaceable – Some okay pictures that I could have got at JP Portraits or Olan Mills I will tell all that I encounter not to engage in business with Glamour Shots. I took my 13yr old daughter to glamor shots on 12/15/07 to have photos taken for her to give for christmas. I was told it would cost $200.00 to do the styling and take the photos. I was told I would then begin to pick from the photos packages starting at $195.00. After spending about 4 hrs there taking pics. The salesman sat and we looked at the photos while the rest of staff stood behind us & commented on how beautiful the photos were, how my daughter should be a model etc.etc. Then the salesman gives us a price of $5000.00 for the whole package. After trying to get him to reduce the price for over an hour, the lowest I could get him down to was $2900.00. I then told him I had to think about it. I was told, do to memory space on the computer the photos would be deleted if we left. I was never allowed to see a printed price sheet. I was never told I could purchase pictures at any cheaper price. I ended up, after about 5hrs putting a $3000.00 charge on my credit card. I realize I was dumb, but I feel this is a dishonest & deceitful company. I will probably end up pursuing this matter in court

I took my Daughters (twins) to Glamour Shots to have their pictures taken for their 17th birthday. The pictures were beautifull! I cried when I seen them, the pose, their clothing (which they brought with them) their make-up, their hair all of it made them look like they stepped out of a modeling book. When it came time to find out the price we nearly fell off our seats, It was over $7000.00 for their photos! No one in their right mind would pay that much! So we alimitednated some photos two different times and the cost was still in the thousands. We had to pay for $90.00 for the touch up on the only picture we got one 8×10. One free photo for two people. What rip off this place is! Word of mouth is the best advertizement and believe me I will let hundreds know what type of place this is. This whole ordeal made me feel like I am a bad Mother for not checking this place out more!
