The thing they won’t tell you is that you don’t need them to sell the Legal Shield product. If you want to participate in that scam, you can sign up to sell the Legal Shield stuff directly with Legal Shield. Do a google search on Mark Riches, the CEO of Harvard Risk Management, and you will see he as a long history of unethical business practices. The company is full of double talk and schemes, and will tell you it’s not a MLM, but you get punished for not recruiting more people, and where does the money come from for advances if they are not taking it from other people? You haven’t earned the money they give you up front because what sense can it make that you get $150 for recruiting a person when all that person has paid is $20 for their first month’s membership fee? The other part of this scam is in their relationship with Legal Shield. You are considered to be an independent contractor with Legal Shield, but HRM gets to determine how much you get to do. They will charge you for using their resources – but will also say you don’t have to use the HRM resources in order to be part of their group. They model their business practices after how Comcast runs their business. So, if you are hoping to be part of a company that believes in ethical, honest business practices, then keep looking. This isn’t where you will find it.
