KAVI GOURMET COOKING

This is the statement that I have made to the California AttyGeneral Consumer Affairs: Prior to Christmas of 2014, I followed a legitimate link to this “Gourmet” bunch of theives. Originally planned on purchasing a $9.99 cookbook, so I entered my cc info and mailing addess. The a couple of pop ups later more “goodies” got added to my “POTENTIAL” order and came out to be more than $200. As I am on Soc Sec only, I couldn’t afford anything like that, so I retraced my steps and wiped the entire order form clean. Later, I received a box from them, too it back to the Post Office, and they wrote refused on it. I had told my Credi Union what happened, and I was give a credit. However, this outfit only gave a partial refund of $6.94, and instead CHARGED ME A CANCELLATION FEE of $29.85!! Since I never placed the miserable order in the first place, the NON ORDER was manipulated and then I was told that when I sent the box back, as per their site, I would be charged a fee for cancellation. I NEVER ORDERED AND NEVER SAW ANYTHING LIKE THAT!! So it has taken months of endless tape loop offers on their phone number – and finally got a customer service rep. After having to bludgeon him over the head verbally, he said he would refer my issue to a supervisor – MAREKA. This orgainzation is a TOTAL SCAM and has found ingenious ways to circumvent the law, SO FAR! I contend that they should be investigated and closed down!
