Traveling is my passion and to find the best place to stay is a tough job as per my experience. I am not freak for 5-star hotels but if I get a chance, I would not let it go. I was traveling in Texas a week ago and I needed a place to stay when I reached Cedar. I had heard about Wyndham Resorts so I decided to go to them. I did not know what I was putting myself into. Well, I went to the La Quinta Inn & Suites but the customer services sucked. I was trying to talk to the receptionist but she was literally irresponsive. I was expecting a better response from them but I was proved wrong. I was so tired that I could not even think of going out to search for another hotel. I was stunned to see that the staff was just sitting idle and talking to each other. It seemed like the hotel has not been mopped since forever. I was now worried about the room I might get if I get a little response and respect from La Quinta Inn & Suites. The reception demands at least two receptionists but there was only one and she could not even handle one customer at a time. Like I was quite late and there were no customers at that time. The least she could do was respond to my questions and give me keys to a room so that I could spend the night. Anyhow, I finally got her talk to me and git the key to the room. It was just fine like it was not out of the world type of room but it was bearable. Their website had made my expectations higher and the services did not satisfy my expectations. There was no towel or soap in the room so I called room service for a gazillion times to send in the stuff but they took their time and I had to wait for an hour to get the stuff. I ordered coffee after the shower and they said it will take 10 minutes. I waited for half an hour for the coffee but they could not send a cup of coffee. At last, I canceled it and slept. The room service is zero at La Quinta Inn & Suites. Trust me their room charges are fucking high and the bastards do not even deliver good services. I ordered an omelet and French toast for breakfast but the taste and presentation of both the dishes were no good. The rates of all the dishes were exceptionally high and none of the meals was complementary. I searched about them afterward and saw a million negative reviews about them and I was regretting my decision. If I could just read reviews about them and make a better decision, I would have saved a lot of money and had received better services from some other hotel too.
