We bought windows and doors and paid a premium for them. Expecting premium service. When the original salesperson sold us the windows and doors we made it clear we wanted a front door with a side glass. The door had to be at least 38″” wide but we preferred a door that was 40″” wide. We care for foster children in wheel chairs and the wheels chairs do not fit through a normal size door. The salesman assured us this would not be a problem as landmark claims to manufacture their own doors. The salesman made a note on the contract that it was a 2 piece door. He claims this was because we had a side glass. When the door arrived it was a double door and not the one we were expecting. When the salesman was contacted he said to bad we signed the contract for a double door. The install was in January. We could not wait to haggle with the salesman so we had the front door installed.The installer that did the work noticed the front door had a warp in it and did not seal properly. So much for quality. He contacted Landmark to start a warranty claim. 4 months later they still have not fixed the door. Their excuse is they keep getting the wrong parts from the supplier. They claim to manufacture doors and windows. So if they do their own manufacturing why have we not gotten the right parts to fix the door. It should be noted the installer did an out standing job. The moral of the story is don’t trust a salesperson to properly look after you and don’t expect good service based on price. Oh and of course don’t buy landmark windows. Their warranty sucks. .
