We had very disastrous business relationship with
We had very disastrous business relationship with LocallyRank or now The Ad Firm and to try to save our business we canceled their services. They almost put us out of business because of poorly mismanaging our account. I would suggest that anyone run to the hills before they ever agreed to work with them in the future. I have included a copy of my cancellation letter that went to them on May 9, 2014. I only wish that I had saved their response in which the owner, Kevin stated that they were not working on our account because they had put us on pause while we’re not paying them after they had agreed to give us a month for free. How do you give a month for free and then not work on the account? Buyer beware. May 9, 2014 To whom it may concern, We are cancelling our contract with you effective immediately. We have had numerous problems and we were almost put out of business because of mistakes, errors, problems with the poor execution of our account. As everyone is aware the ppc account was put “live” on 2 different occasions and did not include phone numbers, site extensions, ads were put in that we were a taxi service, many misspellings, wrong airports etc. We lost over $20,000 in sales in April because of these mistakes. We were willing to accept a free month of your services with the assurance that you were indeed the right company for us. We have now asked for a quote for a new and improved booking software to be integrated into our website. During the last meeting with Alex we were told that our original booking software page would be “switched back on” today and that we would get a time set up so that we could give Alex all of our “must-haves” as well as “want to haves” so that you all could get us a price. After not receiving the confirmation phone call from Alex at 4:30 (the time that he agreed upon) we made many attempts to reach someone in the office. Meghan finally called a little while ago and has now told us that our next meeting (for our list of wishes) will cost $250 as well as a $250 charge to switch over our booking software to the original. We realized that Alex was trying to help us and that Kevin the owner was just after our money but wouldn’t make right, the mistakes his company made with our business. This is totally unacceptable. Yet, again, the follow-up has not been on time as agreed and at no time was there any mention of a charge to “flip the switch” nor any mention as to charging us to provide a quote. We are no longer in need of your services.
