Maid Service, Inc.

This is a big scam operation. The company runs under three names. Maid Service, Inc., Mid-Atlantic Maids and Maid Service of Richmond. When I originally reported Mid-Atlantic Maid Service, I had no idea they had 3 (!) different company names. Their service is sub-par, the house always needed more attention than it was given, and I even paid extra. But it’s of no concern to the maid service once you sign off on the service agreement, because there is no way out of it. No matter what happens to your home, the contact allows them to sue you for being unhappy enough to want to terminate your contract, And sue you they will. They have tken over 47 clients to small claims court – unhappy clients that did not like the service. For us, things have gone missing, one of the maids was a little but scary and no one seeemd to know what a “baseboard” was. The management was bullying and I’m getting harrassing calls and emails from them. The maids used to complan to me about the gruff treatment by management, but it’s still surprising that they would treat paying customers this way. Avoid them at all costs, there are much better options out there. .
