“Your Credit Card ending 9563 was debited, GBP16.95 at AX*MyPerfectCv [protected] at 16:51, 23-Feb-17.” These people have continued to steal my money! What is the meaning of this. It”s clear that they set up this site to steal people”s money. How do you explain the fact that I subcribed to a 14-day service which expired long ago and ever since they have continue to deduct from my card. I adjure them by the living God to return the GBP33.80 which they have stolen from my card this two times.

12/2008 to today did not realize I was being billed 24.99 per month. No receipt sent or acknowledgment. I thought I was paying for 14 days of access not ongoing. Caught it on my CC receipt. This is not upfront business practices. If this company were transparent they would send receipts, but not one monthly receipt. They sent me a 1/2 refund for this month of 12.00. Big whoop! I just lost 150.00 bucks to print 1 resume!

It is said in the email when you cancelled the subscription. The now have my bank card information. They will keep steal my money in my concern. I sent an refund requirement email. Still waiting for the response.

A fortnight ago (July 27, 2015) my daughter got some help with her resume online from the above program with my Debit Card which I have just stopped and will get a new one as the 14 day trial has ended and my account has the $48.82 charge. Checking online I found several complaints as the are frauds. I have informed my bank.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
After completing a resume on myperfectresume.com, I paid for the subscription but was not able to use any of the things provided to me by that subscription. I was not able to download, print, or email it to myself without an error. I tried multiple internet browsers (firefox, ie, google chrome), different formats (pdf and microsoft word), and different computers (laptop and desktop). finally after reaching customer service, they nearly refused to give me a refund because they said there was activity on my account… well, yes I tried to download it, print it, and email it to myself, but it did not work. I finally was able to get a prorated amount of money back; I guess because the only thing that did work was the resume check.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
After purchasing a $ 3.99 resume they fraudulently continued taking a subscription fee of $35.80 monthly since 12/16/15. I was able to recover 3 months of charges as one customer rep. stated ” as a Courtesy “. I call them everyday to try and recover the other 3 months they stole from my account and will continue to call everyday until I wear them down. So far I have 6 names and will continue documenting all their name until I get my refund.

After signing up for this service, I was charged for who knows what. I thought that MyPerfectResume was a free service, but suddenly they took $35 from my account. So I contacted their customer care and asked them to cancel my membership. They said that when you sign up you are automatically charged to activate the membership. They promised there will be no more charges. But one month later I got another charge of $35! So I called again and demanded my money back and received no response. I contacted my back and cancelled my card. Complete fraud!
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
As most of the others who have complained about this “product”. I was lured in by the promise of a “free” resume. Now I’m no fool, I knew it wasn’t going to be free, and I am very adept at reading the small print. $3.95 to download my resume and cover letter with two full weeks of access. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable price. Nowhere did I read that I was going to be charged $34.95 two weeks later and then another $34.95 the next month. I have a family and I have been on Employment Insurance until my new job starts and money is scarce. People are extremely vulnerable to these types of scams. I don’t care that it’s in the small print. This is a misleading and greedy structure . I will update this when customer service gets back to me. I demanded a full refund. If they do not comply I will take this to every social media outlet I can find. I will cost them a lot more than the $80 they ripped me off. If they deny my refund I will go through the bank and dispute the charges on legal grounds. Thanks for reading

Claims to be free, you spend your time building a resume when templates are free everywhere and then they won’t let you have or use it without paying and signing up for a subscription. Who in their right mind wants to pay nearly $40 a month for a resume template builder. What a scam. I spent hours of my time to build my resume also relinquishing my email address only to be bombarded with spam. At this point I feel aa if they should be paying me. If they were an honest and legitimate company they would tell you upfront what to expect and would charge a one time fee for the one time use of their templates and download.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
Clearly i’m not the only person who got misled into paying MyPerfectResume.com $2.95 to download my resume and got charged a monthly service plan. Yes, the 4-week charge is mention in the terms and conditions which is what makes this a scam. People don’t read the terms and conditions because companies usually don’t hide subscriptions in it! If they were up front about it people would NOT sign up! What they’re doing is unethical and very much a scam. I want my money back!. Account ID [protected]

DO NOT I repeat DO NOT use this company. My credit card has been hit every month since September 2015 when I used their service for the first time. They have continued to charge my credit card. I NEVER gave permission for any other charges except for the first time. When I called to discuss this issue, I was hung up on. I had to have my credit card suspended by my bank so they can no longer charge my account. What a bunch of low life losers!!! I own a business myself and would not think to STEAL from those I did business with. I also am filing with the Attorney General in their state to uncover these liars. Shame on you “MyPerfectResume”.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
First of all, they don’t say clearly they are going to charge you every month. Then I cancel my subscription on January 2019, and they continuing charging me on February, March, April … I called them, I wrote them, but they don’t reply, they don’t return me the incorrect charges. I have the confirmation email of the cancelation on January. I have to cancel my card to avoid more charges. Unreal.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
First they said it is free, but you have top pay at the end a few bucks ok. I canceled a few days later and the nightmare began. They never canceled the account and have charged be so far $40 total that they do not have record of. The service is very poor, the lady stated the man never canceled, then found record of my call and said it was not canceled in time. But i was charged a week after “they did cancel” it. Two weeks after that I was charged for an open/closed account. Now im fighting with them for a refund.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
Found the site doing an online search, started a resume. On 14 January 2015 I decided to pay the fee of $3.95 weekly until I cancel. Shortly after paying and while my resume was still in progress, I discovered three things. First, I was unable to access the site using my password. This lasted for a week over a week and cost me money. After many resets I finally gained access. The second discovery, and the more worst part, is the entire resume was deleted from their system. Apparently they do not have a tech department. I contacted the company via their instant chat function. First representative quoted company standards and practices, and even went as far as blaming me for the unauthorized deletion. This representative also informed me the product was not downloaded, just deleted. I was then disconnected and told i can take a survey. Second representative (or are these really just part of an algorithm like the service itself?) seemed more willing to assist and also informed me there was no download, just delete. The third fun discovery is that I was charged $36.16. They offered a refund of all but .36 cents. This is only because I pointed out that it was beyond odd that a job seeker would PAY for a resume THEN destroy it. I have contacted the bank. I expect a FULL refund. ALL of my money. How many thousand of people are being robbed in this manner. I was looking forward to a beautiful resume. instead, this.

Gentlemen: I used My Perfect Resume to process only one sheet of paper one time for a one-time fee of about $2.95. However, I have been charged nearly $100.00 extra without my knowledge or consent. I used this service only expecting to be charged a one-time fee of about $2.95. I have requested a refund of the entire extra charge of $100.00 but only about $50.00 has been refunded. I am certainly entitled to a refund of the full remaining amount of about $50.00. If someone could help me I would appreciate it. I hope you can respond immediately. Thank you very much.

Horrible scam service! I joined this site to try their 14 day free trial. 14 days later I found out that it was never free and I was scammed! They automatically enrolled me into an expensive monthly subscription. I had no idea that happened, I was never informed about that. They just signed me up and charged me. I contacted MyPerfectResume customer support and demanded my money back. They apologized and promised I will get my money in few days, that never happened! Avoid!

I will take this further to an ombudsman for help to have this cancelled. There should be no ongoing charges for a simple service that you advertise. Denise Inall Western Australia

I built a resume using the FREE RESUME service that is offered on the Internet. When I went to print it out I had to pay the fee of $3.95. I used a credit card number to pay this amount however I have noticed that my credit card has not been continually charged up to $54 per month now without my authorisation. I would like to request that all the debited amounts be refunded as I have never authorised these debited amounts. As the amount have been put onto a business credit card, it has taken a while to be picked up to see that there was an automatic debit occurring. There has been no communication or follow up from MY PERFECT RESUME and this service was only used once. Your immediate attention is required to this matter.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I came across this site that advertises as “free” resume service in other websites. After I spent a hr. and was about to download I got a message that I need to pay 2.99$ for downloading it. I should have got wind that this is a shady site. I was mainly interested in the template and the downloaded file that was totally messed up cosmetically (my purpose defeated). I cancelled the service right away (02/15/2016) and requested a refund. Couple weeks later I noticed 2 charges $35.xx and $1 in foreign transaction fee. I came to know my trial subscription money back guarantee did not go through and on top of it they had stolen 36$ from me. Yes to me it is stealing. I called their rep and she opened a case ticket # [protected]. I explained the entire situation and even asked her to check the activity logs that would show that I did not use their service beyond 2 day (trial period) and have not logged in going forward. I was generous enough to let go of the $3 (Money Back Guarantee) and requested to refund 35$ . Next day I got an email that the billing department have rejected my refund. Customer sign up for trials based on good faith that the service provider is genuine and not a scam artist. After this episode I am paranoiac about signing up for any trial offers.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I consider this site to be fraudulent as they do not advise you of their charges. They advertise free templates and at the completion of your resume, they charge a small fee. However, to download your resume, you are forced to become a subscriber. This is free for 14 days and then you are charged an ongoing monthly fee, however, this again is not advised as you progress through the subscription sign up. I found this out once checking my credit card statements after being charged $34.95. They then refunded a portion of the fee only as I didn”t cancel within 14 days. Any charges should be clearly displayed and not hidden and why you need a subscription with a monthly charge for a single resume template is baffling. This is dishonest and a scam to trick you into a monthly fee that will not be refunded.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I decided to update my resume for my current employer and came to this site to get a template. The advertisement was clear (or so I thought) that I would get billed a ONE time fee to access said template. I proceeded with the download, assuming that what I saw online was correct and that I would be billed a one time access fee of $1.95. Fast forward to today. My husband discovers that we”re being billed $38.50 for a monthly subscription, something I did NOT sign up for. So we call the company to inquire. The first girl I speak to insists that the website is clear and that when I entered my credit card information, I agreed to the terms of the agreement. I kindly advised her that the site is NOTclear and does not specify that if you download a template for $1.95 you are also agreeing to a 14 day trial that you have to cancel later. What the website indicated is that I had access to my template from their site for 14 days. IF I had signed up for a 14 day trial…why would you charge me $1.95 for a template? That doesn”t make sense. Secondly, I never received an email confirmation outlining those terms and conditions; something I pointed out to the customer service reps. The first lady didn”t address that. The second agent, who was a very sarcastic and rude man, advised me that it would have gone to my SPAM folder. To say that this information ignited me is a bit of an understatement. I have never received email confirmations regarding memberships in my SPAM folder. WHY? Because most people do not check SPAM folders for such pertinent information; which I think is something this company anticipates. HAD I known to check a folder where Trojan horse emails, advertisements, and urgent requests for supposed singles looking to mingle go to die…well, I guess I would have received the notice that my credit card was going to be billed. Funny thing…they can”t send the email confirmation outlining the membership details and opportunity to cancel to the inbox but every single email regarding cancellation was there! The customer service agent who FINALLY helped us get the full refund of $71.00 is an exception here, but this company is full of liars and thieves. I will NEVER do business with MyPerfectResume.com again. Buyer beware this company shadows its information with tricks and deceptions. DO NOT do business with them. And if you do… check your SPAM.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I did a resume and bought it for something like $2.95 on Feb 24, 2016. I don”t remember reading anything about being charged $34.95 a month and didn”t get an email that I recall. They trap people into a small fee and then start ripping your bank account for months. Unfortunately I did not see the outrageous monthly withdrawals until August. I went online line and found I have an account [protected]. I would like a refund of every monthly charge since my initial transaction in February.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I do not have regular access to a computer so I am wary about any purchase on the internet. And in this case, I was very circumspect about the additional offers attached to the purchase of a single resume format from above website. I remember reading an offer to a subscription to a jobalert service, which I DECLINED. I was not made aware of any other vendors linked to this sale of a resume format so I do not know what incurred these two charges on 14 and 27 Nov, several weeks after I had concluded my original purchase! I request a refund of $95.69, the total amount extracted from my visa card as of 27 November 2015. I request that my account and the information therein be removed/deleted from the client list of the website. I invoke that my experience with the above website serve as a cautionary tale to their future clients.
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I do not understand the original complaint… What do you mean by it is a fraud? I just used the service and I cancelled after I built a resume. I can not attest yet to whether it is a fraud. I did not appreciate that the website was not up front about its pricing. You spend time building a “free” resume and have to pay 3. 95 to use it or download it they should be upfront about that. I do not think people will mind paying 3. 95 to get help writing a resume. What I am most disappointed about is that when you agree to pay the 3. 95, the receipt lets you know that you will automatically be billed 34. 00 at the end of 7 days. It does not state any of this “automatic billing” info when you agree to pay the 3. 95. It just says 3. 95 for 7 – day full access. It also give you the option to purchase at a monthly fee. I cancelled my subscription within 15 hours of using the service. I will see if myperfectresume.com continues to bill after 7 days has passed. I hope that they are honorable and reputable enough to not continue to bill after a cancellation of scam money out of an account any other way. Time (7 days) will tell.

I had created a CV 14 days ago by paying A$ 2.95 to MyPerfectResume. I was not satisfied with the cv. After that, I did not get any email to unsubscribe and today A$34.95 has been deducted from my account. I did not find any option on the site to unsubscribe and neither did I get any mail for renewal of my account. In the future too, they might deduct money from my account. So, please resolve this issue with the refund of the money being deducted.

I hardly check my Credit Card bill, and when I check today, I was shocked about an unknown payment for 34.95; when I search online, I even don’t know what it’s about. And after I tried all of my email accounts, I found out which one it is. Firstly, I only use it for once for one resume on 2016. Secondly, I have NEVER EVER receive any notice for their bill payment. Third, It’s continuously for two years without any notice. Please do not use anything called “auto renewed” to explain. Even Amazon, they will remind me when my prime will be auto renewed; when i check the bill for two years, 900 dollar is gone for only one resume. Keep charging for two years with NO NOTICE is definitely NOT ACCEPTABLE. I don’t know if there’s any department that I can report it. IF ANYONE KNOWS, please let me know. Thanks

I have been on unemployment since September 2013 because I was laid off. I went to myperfectresusume.com last April to get some help. It was supposed to be a free service, but to download the resume I built you had to pay. I paid the $2.95. I used my Debit card that my unemployment is deposited in by EDD. I never agreed to have any further charges deducted from my account. I don’t check the statements often. I just noticed that myperfectresume has been automatically deducting $35.80 per month since May 14, 2014. So $35.80 was deducted in May, June, July, and August. What kind of fraudulent company is this and how can I stop them from continuing to deduct from my account and refund the $143.20. The Charges on my account are listed as: LICVECAREER ORDER # 3568 myperfectresu 00000 United Kingdom. Please help. It is outrageous that unemployed people already struggling are ripped off like this! Thank you so much. B. Arias

I have made an account on their website so as to make my Resume and they had charged $3.64 for downloading the Resume and cover letter. While doing the transaction, i didn’t receive any pop up or T&C regarding auto renewal thing and also saving my card details without asking any prior confirmation. Now, they have again charged $25.96 without asking any OTP. This is an illegal way to save card details on website. This is pathetic, they are simply supporting cyber crime.

I have used this website MyPerfectResume and thought that it was absolutely free. I made a resume, and paid nothing for the service, it was some sort of free trial. But when I signed up I entered some of my personal information and my card number. One month later these scammers charged me and took $25 from my account and when I contacted MyPerfectResume customer service and asked what was going on they said that I was automatically signed up. I asked them to cancel my account and they did that but they also refused to refund my money! Avoid!
My Perfect Resume Reviews & Complaints
I joined MyPerfectResume and paid the initial $2.95 fee. I tried the site, did not like it and decided to cancel the subscription. But then I realized that this company has auto renewals and it”s almost impossible to cancel. I contacted their customer service and was told to try the online cancellation method but it didn”t work. Then I sent them an email and was told that I need to call them in order to cancel. I called them and they said that I need to send a message. I was so angry! It was obvious that these guys are just running a scam and they won”t allow me to cancel! Because of these thieves I had to cancel my credit card! Please, save you money and time, avoid this scam company! These guys are pretty good at stealing money from hard working people. MyPerfectResume is a dishonest and corrupt company!

I never signed up for any services from any resume companies. I do not have an account with myperfectresume. I have never used any of their services. I do not know how they got my banking information. They have charged nearly $200 for no services rendered. This is nothing less than pure theft. This is a criminal enterprise.

I paid $2 for subscription and that was supposed to be a trial. There was nowhere said that later I’m going to be charged extra $25! When MyPerfectResume took money from my account I contacted them to ask what was going on. They said that was a monthly payment, but when I told them that I only wanted to try their site and paid for trial they did not reply. I made my small research and found out that many people complain about the same thing. In my opinion this site is running a scam and they are not to be trusted! Don’t give them your card information, they will try to steal from you!

I paid over $2.00 for the 14 day subscription for this service. On their website, they say after 14 days you will be charged $10.00 every four weeks. I looked on my account, and they charged me $35 dollars! I have no clue why the charged me, and there’s nothing that informed me they would take out that amount of money. I’ve looked in my inbox and spam folders to make sure they didn’t send an email, but there’s nothing there. It is ILLEGAL to take peoples money without informing them, and without their consent!!! This was not in the terms and conditions. This website is a scam.

I really hate doing online business, because there are so many scammers out there. When I joined MyPerfectResume I had no idea that these guys are scammers as many other companies. I have been charged by this company even though I used their service only once. I decided to cancel my account so I contacted their customer service. They said that my account was successfully cancelled and I will get a refund in few days. Several weeks passed and I have yet to get an email regarding my refund. Few days ago I tried to log in. Now words can describe how disgusted I was when discovered that my account was never cancelled! Do not trust this company.

I signed up for 14 days only and they keep billing me and charging my card. I am careful about reading the fine print when I sign up for a service and there was no mention any billing past 14 days or a subscription. I signed up for 14-day trial period and KNOW THAT I CANCELLED at the end of the period back in February. Now I come to find recurring charges on my bill. I signed up for a one-off resume for my grand-son in April 2016 for US$1.95 from My Perfect Resume. I notice on the net so many others are in this same situation. This is fraudulence. I cancelled within 7 days as requested and am still being charged.

I signed up for a trial period, looked at it one day, and then clicked “Cancel Subscription” at the bottom of my account page. Three weeks later, I was charged $24.95. I called and spoke with a customer service representative who sounded very suspect to me. He assured me my account would be cancelled, could not and did not even try to explain why the account was not cancelled through the website. STAY AWAY

I signed up for My Perfect Resume back in June of this year. I’ve been applying for jobs online and most of them ask for resumes. I haven’t done a resume in maybe 10 years, so I knew it was time to touch up my resume. I went through all of the steps and at the end I was satisfied with the end product. I was informed that I had to pay $1.95 to download and finish my resume. At first I was hesitant, But decided that if it was only $1.95 it was worth it. However, I looked at my bank account a few minutes ago and there’s a charge from a resume company for $39.95! I called the number listed on the website and the man who answered asked for my email, so I gave it to him, he comes back a few minutes later stating that they don’t have my email listed in their system! Then the guy asks for the last 4 digits of my card number and who’s name it’s in, so I told him, guy puts me on hold for a few more minutes to supposedly verify info, comes back and asks for full credit card number and name on card, puts me on hold again for a few minutes and finally says that there’s no information like that in their system and then tells me he’s not with My Perfect Resume and that he’s with another company who I forgot the name because I’m so mad that someone stole my money without authorization! I am going to make a report with the police and call my attorney! Maybe then something will be done!

I signed up for MyPerfectResume and ordered a resume. I was in process of job seeking so it was necessary for me to have a well made resume. That was the main reason why I decided to find a professional resume service instead of doing it myself. I paid $1 for subscription and wasn’t expecting any other charges. One month later I noticed that some money disappeared from my card and when I contacted my bank they said that a company called MyPerfectResume charged me! Then I contacted their support service and they claimed that was a mistake and promised to refund me and also said that they’ll never charge me again. That was a lie, but unfortunately I believed them. Another month passed and I got charged again! Had to call my bank and block MyPerfectResume. Do not use this service, they are cheaters!

I signed up under the auspices of their trial, paying in two transactions on my credit card statement, one in the amount of $1.00 and the other in the amount of $.95. I did so after I’d spend time building my supposed “free” resume, It said the subscription would expire in either 7 or 14 days. I literally used the service ONE day, the same day that I signed up for the trial on and did not continue using it. I’m assuming it was a 14 day trial because my credit card was charged on the 28th of December, 14 days exactly after the initial charge. After a short period of time I started to notice a fee of $24.95, repeatedly. I was confused because when I entered and agreed to the trial subscription it said the subscription would expire after 7 days. I never received a confirmation email that my subscription was no longer on a trial and that I would be billed continuously each month. At no point did I EVER receive a confirmation letter stating that I would be charged an extra $24.95. I called in to their supposed customer service department today to dispute the multiple charges that I have incurred from My Perfect Resume and despite the fact that he CONFIRMED I HAVE NOT USED THE SERVICE since the day that I signed on for the trial, his only answer was that he would cancel it today. No refund, no good faith. I said that I could dispute it with my credit card company but would rather save each of us from the hassle and his answer was that it is my preogative to pursue this issue with my credit card company. Buyer beware. I wish I would have researched and found all of these complaints before giving them $1.95 let alone a nickle more. Try a reputable service like TopResume. By the time you get charged all of these bogus fees with My Perfect Resume you will be much further ahead of the game and end up with an excellent resume. That’s who I ended up using for my resume assistance.

I signed up with this website last month and i payed the fee of 4.95 . I used the website to make a couple of resumes and have not used it since. I checked my account today and $52.21 was missing from my account. I did not in anyway agree to this and when i talked to someone this morning they said i was told about a monthly charge when i signed up. Attached is the email i received when i signed up which does not state anywhere that they will take a further $52.21 from my account without my approval. I have filed a complaint on the better business bureau complaint to try to deal with this matter. I would like to get a refund of the money taken from my account this morning.

I subscribed to this free resume building service on myperfectresume.com on 24th july and paid a fee of $3 for downloading the resume without consenting to divulge my credit card details for any further billing without my consent. I received a welcome email and a message of congratulating me on taking my first step towards achieving my career goals, none of them mentioning anywhere even in fine prints that my credit card info is stored and will be billed for Rs 2290.26 (dollar equivalent) after a period of 15 days. Not even a day prior i received any email or message saying my due date for renewal or something like that is tomorrow, not a warning and on 8th August I am billed for Rs 2290.26 on my credit card for something i cant figure out. I did not authorize this and this was not validated, this is not only a con but also immoral of you. I am deactivating all subscriptions and want my money back as early as possible. Apart from my bank sending me a notification, the website does not even bother to send a notification that there has been a recurring billing on my account, thats a smart way to sneak in money without getting noticed. Im sure im not the only one conned by them, unfortunately i did not judge them before making the first transaction. Its really sad to see such companies trying to make money out of people” predicament. Please do not subscribe to MyperfectResume.com or LiveCareer, its a fraud.

I think perfect resume should send out a email if you are going to be billed. I didn’t see the small print that said I will be billed 35 dollars. If I wanted to be billed 35 dollars than I would have spent more with ya’ll the first time not 2.95. This website site is a ripe off and I will NOT tell anyone to use ya’ll website. Oh and I called ya’ll today for a refund of my 35 dollars but yet I will only get 26 dollars back. So get take the rest of my money. NEVER again but a full refund would be nice
