14 November 2019 – Purchased a Black Desert Online account from a seller. The seller noted that the Black Desert Account was on a Steam Account that would be sold as a whole. My order number is as follows: 5390903 27 December 2019 – The Steam account housing the Black Desert Online account I purchased was recalled by the seller. I opened a dispute as soon as I collected the evidence proving it had been resolved. With the next few days, The seller provided nothing to the dispute investigation besides a note stating “Mate, this wasn’t me. Have you tried recovering it? I can try if you have no luck”. The information he provided me at the point of the sale was not accurate and I could not recall the account successfully. I noticed him log into the game by using a friends account that had the purchased account on his friends list. I could see him swap through the many characters looking at what had been going on within the account. Once the seller was satisfied that I had nothing additional on the account he magically recovered the account and provided me the login info and additional security information. Before the seller ever returned the account to me, PlayerAuctions closed my dispute siding with the seller regardless of the overwhelming amount of information I provided and the literal nothing the seller provided. Once I regained control of the account I attempted to use the Steam security information the seller provided to recall the account to myself to reassure myself the account was safe. Steam informed me that they found I was not the original owner judging by the information I provided and locked the account. I’ve made 10-20 attempts to contact the seller and PlayerAuctions for assistance and neither of them has not responded. The Steam account is once again active under the sellers email address. Additionally, I can see that on PlayerAuctions the seller has conducted another sale to another customer on a game that was on the Steam Account he sold me… In conclusion, I spent $326 for the account and the insurance. I have nothing to show for it besides dissatisfaction and a terrible PlayerAuctions company who completely ignores internal tickets.

A year ago I sold a video game account through playerauctions. Everything sounds good right? Wrong… The guy I sold the account to got hacked and decided to complain about ME to playerauctions. I figure they won’t care since it’s been a year but they foolishly decide to freeze the money that was already paid for by another account over his complaint. A few days later the guy realized he actually did get hacked and told playerauctions. I used my own time and restored the account for him anyways, so everything is fine and well right? Wrong… So now they are taking money (over $600) that isn’t theirs for an account I already sold. So I go to their “live chat” and get the same person no matter what hour of the day it is and receive copy/pasted responses to every question. After much frustration I call their 800 number. Low and behold I get a fax machine signal. I call back another day… same thing, I try again later same thing.in otherwords their posted live chat and telephone customer service are outright lies. I finally go through their last option… email. Over a week later I get a response “The issue is being investigated.” So let me get this straight, you guys are holding the money of an account hostage over a completely separate issue? You do realize I can make a few phone calls and freeze every account I’ve ever sold over this insolence right? Weeks of copy/pasted emails later I get nothing resolved, it seems they were just stalling me as long as possible until I’d gave up and let them keep my money. What exactly can you do to a Korean company stealing from you? The answer is very little, they can and do do whatever they want to their customers meanwhile having nonexistent customer service. So they force me to screw over the person I just sold the account too (after all no one gets an account from me I didn’t get paid for). Even after the person that just got screwed out of an account threw a sh* fit they still didn’t release my money. I’d like a playerauctions rep to respond to this one, tell us why it’s ok for you to clearly pretend like you have customer service on your site but don’t? Tell us why it’s ok for you to gamble with other peoples accounts because one guy gets hacked? Playerauctions not only takes up to 30% of your auction prices for themselves (with last minute charges conjured from thin air) but will use any excuse they can to “hold” your money until you give up. Do not deal with this company when it comes to anything even remotely expensive. If they could keep their hand out of the cookie jar they could sit back and watch people make them money. But for them to have the arrogance to do something like this will only spell doom for them, hopefully sooner then later.

After many many years of buying on this platform, I tried to sell for the first time, but made the mistake of posting my Discord ID, which is in breach of their terms and conditions. I accepted the suspension, even though it was a small mistake from someone that has spent well over $10000 with this site. The issue is that I had an account sell just before they suspended me, but the buyer had time to pay his money, then PlayerAuctions asked me to provide all details of the account to the buyer, which I did, and he now has full ownership. He changed the account to secure it for himself a week ago, and right as they had to pay me the money for the account, they suspended me and terminated the sale “pending a review”. I was told “in writing” from their team, that the money would be released to me as soon as my account is reactivated, which was a few days ago. Now when I go into the account, it says it’s still under review and the buyer could be refunded his money, but said nothing of my account, which is being played on right now, things changed, gold used etc, how is this legal? They should have done this immediately before too many changes could be made to the account, so now they have my money, the buyer has the account, and i’m taking this legal. Any order I place with any type of payment method that I”ve access to fails. In the status I get: Order closed by system – payment settlement failed Date of incidents: Ongoing Description: Then there are delays on payment processing refunds, and some people don”t even get their money back at all. The issue is confirmed with first time buyers as well as sellers. Their email confirmation isn”t working, and neither do they call or text to confirm identity of the parties involved. Support is provided via Zendesk, which is slow and delayed responses, if at all. They”ve been uncooperative in resolving this. Apparently PayPal was removed as a disbursement method recently. That certainly decreases the site’s quality, as PayPal was an easier method to initiate and set up. That leaves me wondering about the reason of removal, and whether or not there’s a chance for the method to return, and also if there’s a chance of adding new disbursement methods. As many of you know, PlayerAuctions is a site that use to be American, was sold to IGE, and then a Korean company bought it which has customer service now in China. I bought an account from this company and everything went smooth as promised on the site. After a few weeks, the original owner took back the account. I have been trying for a few weeks to get either a replacement account or a refund from either party and they do not respond anymore. After speaking with my guild members, it appears as if this is a common thing at PlayerAuctions and no different from buying an account from an ordinary forum website. PlayerAuctions acts as an escrow service securing an account, and then takes 10% of the sellers payment, while guaranteeing delivery on your order. After that, you”re on your own. If anything happens to the account, you”re out money. It”s a goldmine for selling scammers, and a disaster for buyers. I have to say I am upset and urge everyone else to reconsider buying from them as if anything this is the riskiest site you could possibly buy from due to how they are setup.

As per order #5349682, on October 31st, 2019 (10:48:19 PM), I placed an order for OSRS gold to be paid in Bitcoin (proof of transfer attached). Unfortunately, when paying with cryptocurrency, PlayerAuctions has a 15-minute countdown timer set on the Bitcoin address you’re supposed to send payment to. If it expires, apparently your order isn’t confirmed even you still send the payment. In my case, upon initiating transfer, there was an unexpected delay in transferring Bitcoin from my Coinbase BTC wallet to PlayerAuction’s BTC address, so the transfer occurred after the 15 minutes ran out and the address had already expired. I’ve submitted a support ticket to PlayerAuctions on October 31st and have yet to hear anything back from them. As part of my order, I gave my BTC refund address. I cancelled the order on November 1st, 2019 (08:06:54 AM) and it’s now been more than 24 hours since cancelling with no idea where my money has gone and no response from PlayerAuctions. Buyers beware… I have been a loyal customer of playerauctions for many years because I believed they operated with integrity and held their sellers and buyers to the same level of integrity. I have 100% feedback and my integrity has never come into question. I purchased an account back in January 31, 2009 for a level 80 wizard on everquest. Over the years I have paid for all the expansions and monthly memberships fees. I also had a level 96 Berserker with over 4000 alternate advancement points that I worked very hard on. All toons on the account were geared well and the berserker had a mix of group and raid gear. There was a bazaar trader that had over 2 million in plat (game currency) and items as well. I tell you all of this because after nearly 4 years of owning this account and pouring time and cash into it… the original owner took it back. One thing Playerauctions will not tell you is that if the original owner of the account wants the account back.. all they have to do is contact Sony and tell them that it was stolen. They still have all original info for account so there is no question in Sony’s mind. Sony will not give any warning that the account is being taken back either. They de-guild the toons, take credit card info off of the account, change the e-mail registered to the account, and return it to the original owner. You get absolutely no info from Sony in the way of e-mails indicating account changes. What is worse is the guy is on the toons, playing the character I worked so hard on and even had the nerve to send me a private message, complaining that I moved his wizard to the FV server that he can’t be transferred off of. This whole situation makes me sick, but not as sick as the e-mail I got from playerauctions. Playerauctions only suspended his playerauctions account.. not banned. And since the original owner will not respond to them they are going to contact Sony and get the account banned instead of restoring it. Even worse… Playerauctions will not replace the 175.00 that I paid for the account at the time, which seems like the right thing to do since they profitted off of the seller’s deception. 175.00 is not much money at all compared to what I have invested into the account. I guess for me it is the principle of the thing. I bought the account thinking all transactions were secured by PlayerGuardian Protection, but I guess they are only secured if you buy extra insurance on the account. They say I did not purchase the additional protection so they will not reimburse me anything I spent on the account. This is bad business as there are no warnings that these accounts can be taken back by the original owner at any time, which would have kept me from taking the risk in the first place. Sorry if I sound like I am just whining, but everyone who uses this site needs to be told the truth about account purchases.in the business world, loyal customers are valued, respected, rewarded, protected, and held onto no matter the cost. And before you judge, I made several recent purchases from Playerauctions at the end of last year before all of this happened. I purchased an account and platinum totaling nearly 600.00. Now you tell me… a loyal customer with perfect feedback spending a lot of cash with your company… would you blow them off like this? I told Playerauctions as much and will see if it gets them to change their handling of this situation, but I doubt it. PS – Please don’t be the next victim, protect yourself. I do not hold Playerauctions responsible for the actions of the original owner, but I do hold them responsible for representing themselves as safe and secure when representing crooked sellers. Legit been waiting days for a response and no one ever replies and seeing as though my support ticket is literally getting no response what so ever on it I have to keep repeating my self and sending new complaints to try get someones attention to finally close my case… I recently submitted a support ticket concerning playerauctions that I had bought an oldschool runescape account for it only to be recovered by the seller and it started a hard process to get my money back through many attempts to prove that the account had been hacked back I have finally got in touch with jagex and sending a support ticket yesterday trying to recover the lost account (lost account email: [protected]@gmail.com) they have responded to that ticket earlier today in the picture provide, I have also provided proof of buy in a previous complaint that has also gone quiet so hopefully I can get a response on this one and someone can lighten up that dead support ticket that hasnt been answered for over 24 hours on playerauctions… Jagex clearly confirm in that email that the account had been claimed by the owner you can even see the support ticket I sent (personal info scribbled like out my full name and ip address in the shown support ticket) so I have delivered the recommended evidence from the previous complaint with alot of detail (the evidence you need to submit looks something like this: i.imgur.com/0YZRhOv.png) any response is much appreciated thanks. Dear PlayerAuctions, I sold an account and my main disbursement method was PayPal but I was only recently aware that Playerauctions stopped supporting it as a payment method. It all started when I decided to sell an account that attracted little interest but in June 18 someone bought it. We had a small dispute because of the delay in delivery but in the end we solved it on June 22nd and the buyer confirmed the arrival of the order while I received all the money I had requested. After the verification of Playerauctions I waited for the respective 3 days but in June 25 I get a message that says that Playerauctions has stopped supporting PayPal and even today, on June 26th I didn’t receive my money. Now in Order Detail it is written in Disbursement status: Queued for immediate processing and in Disbursement Time: Now being processed. I wonder if I should wait again or change disbursement method. Do not purchase accounts on this website. They try to make you feel secure with the account insurance, but it is a joke. I purchased an account with account insurance. The seller reclaims the account after two months. I filed a dispute with the insurance, I provide proof the seller reclaimed the account. I try to contact the seller via playerauctions since it is part of the claim process. The seller deletes this playauctions account so I can not communicate with them. 5 days after the claim, my insurance claim is denied, no communication from seller, no communication from Playerauctions, just shows my claim was denied. No way to appeal, no way to find out what proof was given. I would think the seller deleting their account would be proof enough

Do not, i repeat do not purchase from playerauctions. Their “Insurance” does not cover if the seller reclaims the account. I just got my account stolen from me and playerauctions denied my case. I only had my new account for 6 months and it got reclaimed, i thought i was safe purchasing the insurance for 1 year. Insurance does NOT protect you and your account from scam attempts. I am a reputable buyer/seller with over 30 feedback and been on the website since 2014. They sided with a fraudulent seller with 2 feedback including mine. They ask for compelling evidence but how ca i give evidence that the scammer used his credit card to get back his account?? Absolute IDIOTS. I had a dispute about one of the sellers who sold me an osrs account. the owner recovered the account and I had proof that it was him. but the owner decided to play “dumb” and started stating stuff that basically dug a deeper hole for him. I escalated it but playerauctions sided with the owner, I believe they did this to prevent them paying me out. So the moral of this story is don’t trust player auctions with anything. don’t buy their insurance because it’s a way for them to steal your money and not delivering to their promises.

February 28th, the day of the spawned Tbows. There was a bug exploit in OSRS which caused a rollback of the servers. I messaged the seller to discuss rectifying this as our trade happened during the rollback time. This would mean that not only do they get my payment, but the seller would get his gold back. Of COURSE the seller quickly submitted screenshots stating the trade happened, but come on? In this case do the right thing. After the rollback the seller would have his gold back so it would be as if the trade never happened… well. Except for the fact they would still get my hard earned money. I started a dispute but things look gloom.. Playerauctions does not read into disputes and sticks to their “delivery policy” but I presume MANY other buyers are going to run into this problem due to such a large bug exploit. Why should the company keep all of our cash and not simply return the gold we purchased (and own) in the first place.

Five months after my purchase the account was taken back by the OO. I know this happens and yup not happy but I paid for insurance. Unfortunately these guys will renege on your claim, they want proof and the way the account was pulled back no proof was possible. haven’t got a lot of time to play video games, but I do like to play with my friends. They already have maximum level accounts etc. I purchased an account with maximum level and all of the runes and most of the champions available to play with them. This being an Internet video gaming transaction I bought insurance on the purchase. Seeing BBB on the bottom left of the website, coupled with the option of purchase insurance I felt secure that this website was legitimate enough. Shortly after I purchased the account, it was stolen back from me. I logged onto skype and received a message from my friend saying some guy had messaged him from my LoL account in game and said to add him on skype. That guy then said that I had hacked and stolen HIS account (the one I purchased). My friend provided me the skype name of that guy Arian. chan which matched up to “esdchan” the original account name which I could not change. My guess is that either this website lets account thieves sell stolen accounts be sold on their site by hackers, or that this arian chan sold then reclaimed his account immediately from me. Either way it should be covered under my insurance agreement that I purchased. I have tried numerous times to work this out with their customer service, but they just tell me to send them my tracking number repeatedly (which I always do) and do nothing about it. I really don’t see how a company like this maintains BBB accreditation.

Hello I just found out at 24 of january that paypal is no longer a supported method for payment (it was happened 4days later when my buyer bought my account).. I have moved and changed my phone number since last time I have used this service. I have emailed customer service mutiple times to get this fixed then they finally changed to my new number then i changed my payment method to payonner. I was promised after that it will need only 1-2 business days to reflect that money to my bank account. I have to say after 6 business day that nothing was happened. Hello! On November 7, 2019 I attempted to purchase an account using Bitcoin. This was my first time so I was very unfamiliar with the entire process. I purchased what I thought was the exact amount and then sent the payment over to you guys. I did not realize there were fees involved on both ends and so the amount that I sent to you guys was not the amount in “full” after the fees. However, all of the bitcoin that I had sent was still debited from my wallet and into yours. I submitted a ticket immediately after and I received a very plain response about it taking 48 hours to process. I have waited over a week now and I have yet to receive anything back. I’m sure you see from the Order ID : #5367991 I sent the equivalent of $464.19 in bitcoin, which was not the amount in full I needed for the order yet I was still charged and left with nothing. A few hours later I was able to buy the account after doing an entire separate transaction while awaiting my previous refund. Hello, I decided to use PlayerAuctions to get some gold in Archeage – the first time I tried it did not work, saying “payment failed”. I tried again and it did, so I successfully purchased some. After a few days, I tried to buy some more, but it kept saying Payment failed, even though I used the same payment method(s). After a couple tries, the 4th time the payment went through and it worked. Unfortunately I had to cancel this one since the seller did not deliver on time at all. Hello, i feel really disapointed about player auction. I buy a account on March 26th all was fine i get the acc etc. But for a 100$ acc i take a insurance. Few month later like 2-3 i see i can’t acess to the account. I’m like “Damn he scam me anyway it’s over” But ! in november i remember i have a insurance. Hello, I have some serious problems with the seller. The first account got hacked so the seller offered me a new one. When I got the second I have spent around 20$ on fortinte v-bucks. He told me that when I give him edited positive feedback he will give me the account. He also told me that to compensate for the money I’ve spent on the account I can open a disputed for 20$ and he will accept it. He is not responding for 3 weeks and I don’t have any account. Hello. I visited this website because a friend said that it would be a perfect place to sell my fortnite account. So I created an account and started seting it up. In my offer I give some info about the account and wrote that if they have any questions or want to see more pictures they can contact me in discord i click done after some time I go to check om my offer and saw that the offer has been cancelled by admin. I go to my mail. I got mail from Them. (Remember the text where it says you may not give discord Skype, etc. Is very small on a phone) in the mail is saying you Violated our policy and your account has been disabled to unlock your account, you have to pay 150 dollar fine. I contact Them and ask if it really could be true that I make ONE mistake and then I have to pay 150 dollars. Hi so today I tried ordering a rs account from a seller.. If you’re here Richard can you please respond.. So the first time I tried using my PayPal and it was declined and then the 2nd time I ordered and my payment went through but on this… excuse my language. On player auctions I sold an account for 120 dollars expecting a cut of 99 dollars (order ID #5274969) once someone purchased this account I received an email from skrill that money was sent to my account. At the time I had not created a skrill account and thus had to. once I had created it I had to verify it, this took roughly 15 days to do but in the payment email this message was accompanying it “Please claim your money within the next 14 days. For security reasons, the money will be returned to the sender”s account after 14 days.”. I assume the money was sent back to PlayerAuctions and I have no way of receiving this money. Skrill has not helped at all, I have contacted the buyer who is checking if he got his money back or not but I assume he hasnt. please help, I dont want to lose 100 dollars and my account.

I advertised a Black Desert account on their website and signed up for the automatic delivery. Someone purchased the account and within 2 minutes all of the account details were in their possession. Another 2 minutes pass and Playerauctions notifies me that my Playerauctions account has been suspended and a refund will not be issued to the buyer. I am a seller on playerauctions and went through my first 9 orders without a problem. However, the past seven orders I have been ripped off by playerauctions. Each resulted in me subsequently being temporarily suspended for reasons they “could not disclose” and needing to email them to get myself un-suspended. Each of my disbursements were held and customer service refused to pay me. Playerauctions is a group of thieves that just want to make a quick buck. Do NOT use them if you are at all concerned about the safety of your money. They have conned me out of 7 accounts now and stolen over $500 from me. I am a verified seller and has made them some money since May 2017, my disbursements method of transfer is via Paypal. All of a sudden with 10 disbursements pending as of this writing they just abruptly removed Paypal as a disbursement option, only bothered to inform AFTER they removed Paypal with a vague message, mostly intended for buyers, no advice as to what and how will their sellers who chosed Paypal as disbursement method will get their money and when. Just like that, like it’s nobody’s business. No prior warning, no announcements to prepare their sellers who have chosen Paypal to make decisions on how to access their money that they have entrusted to PlayerAuctions by using their service. So unethical and indifferent to the interest and concerns of their money-makers (sellers). I am beyond frustrated as to how and when will I access my money since they can’t be bothered to address this concern and they seem to be dedicated on their unavailability to their customers (both seller and buyers) – no live chat, no contact number for support to call – their listed contact number directs you to a fax tone and their e-mail support takes forever to respond to any concerns (my last one took them 19 days to respond.) I am no longer interested in using the site playerauctions.com in which I’ve been a member of for years. I have asked them repeatedly to remove all my personal and billing information from their computer systems and they have refused telling me that they will only “suspend” my account and that I can “unsuspend” my account anytime in the future so that I can use their service again. I told them again I do not want my account suspended (which means they still save all my personal and billing information) and that I want it completely deleted so that I cannot log in with that account any longer and therefore having all my personal and billing information deleted. They refuse to do this and can still access all my information including billing.

I attempted to purchase a WoW account via playerauctions on [protected] and instead ended up out close to $1, 000 and dealing with horrendous customer service. I’m disappointed because I often use PlayerAuctions and have had good experiences. But in my opinion there is no excuse for taking almost $1, 000 of someone’s money and not delivering. I first bought an account for $440 using my credit card, which despite having plenty of money available was declined due to “security.” I have sent in a driver’s license, talked to them on the phone, and completed dozens of transactions, but I was declined for security? I was then told to proceed with bitcoin (as can be seen in my screenshots), but after completing that transaction I was informed that PlayerAuctions did not “capture” any money so I should contact my payment gateway. I’m assuming this is because there is a 20 min timer to pay with Bitcoin but the transactions take longer than 20 minutes to process. Others have had similar issues (google it). In short, PlayerAuctions keeps pointing me to the Gateway, which in this case was GoCoin or perhaps my CoinBase wallet. But GoCoin keeps sending me back to PlayerAuctions (screenshots), and the transaction has clearly been processed by CoinBase and received (but not spent yet) on the other side. I did my part and paid for my account twice! The first transaction still took the money even though they claimed to deny my credit card. Now I lost About $500 worth of bitcoin, paid fee’s, etc. and I’m sitting here with nothing while they tell me I’m out of luck and won’t tell me how I can get a refund. I like doing business with PlayerAuctions, and despite frustrations hope this can be resolved. But if not, let this be a cautionary tell for other people and take your business somewhere else that won’t charge you and not give your money back. I bought 70M RS2007 Gold at Jul-22-2019 and paid over 45 USD. After this, I had to wait a whole day for the Payment Verification, but it never got verified. Then I submitted a support ticket about the issue and was told to cancel the order, and my refund would be delivered within 48 hours. (See attachment below) So I canceled the order in the next day in Jul-23-2019. Nothing I’ve sent to the support gets a proper answer or is either ignored. Everything I got was: “Thank you for your email regarding refund time. Refunds are typically processed within 1-2 business days; however, in rare cases it can take up to 5 business days for your account to receive the funds. We hope this helps! ” After 2 days I asked what’s up with my refund, and was told I’d receive the refund within 48 hours after canceling the order, which it already had passed. 5 days later I still hear nothing and asked them: “I canceled it a while ago, what’s taking so long on the refund?” The response I get is: “Hello, Thank you for reaching out. Note: If you cancel the order, you will receive a full refund within 48 hours. Thank you again for your patience. I hope this helps.” Now, what the [censored]? It’s been like 3 times that at this point. Lmfao. no. It does not [censored]ing help, thank you very much. So I respond: “It’s already been OVER 48 hours a long time ago.” And get no reply for 4 DAYS. FOUR DAYS. Because of course. After those 4 days I get mad and ask: “Well? Why the [censored] are you taking so long to respond when it’s about money huh? I bought a Blizzard account with Overwatch (order 3767373) and I was able to login initially and changed the password but the owner reset the account in like 1 hour and now I cannot use it anymore. It says the account does not exist. I escalated this to Player Auctions to get money or the right details but they said the seller was right because I reset the password. I have been busy for one afternoon to sent them everything to verify to them that I am the buyer. I sent them everything: Selfie with ID, printscreen of PayPal account, document from chamber of commerce. It all was never enough. I bought the account for $569.99 I cant get Player Auctions to respond and give me the account back, or even let me know whats going on. I have tried multiple times to get some kind of support. I also purchased the so called player protection (Insurance) they did their investigation and guess what… This is a big suprise… They cannot credit my account!!! What a scam these people have going. After reading many many complaints it is obvious that they give you a little over 90 days to build up gold on the account. They have all the account info they need to change the password and access your account steal your gold and sell it. The reason they give you a little over 90 days is because they know you can’t dispute a transaction with paypal after 90 days. Believe me I tried everything from paypal to my cc company no dice… Do not buy an account from this web site it will undoubtedly get reclaimed. And there will be nothing you can do about it! I bought an account this past November. Paid for the account and saw that there was insurance offered by PlayerAuctions that would reimburse me credit if the original owner ever took back the account. So I purchased this as well which covers the account for up to a year. Well in the beginning on April it was accessed by someone other than me and had the email and password changed so I could no longer access the account. Being that I have all sorts of anti spyware, malware, adware, and firewalls to protect me from my machine being hacked I have placed the blame of the original account holder. I wrote to PlayerAuctions and filled out their questionaire so they could “immediately” start “investigating the issue”. It’s now the end of April, 24 days since I reported this to them and I have yet to get a response. All they do is give me the run around or ignore me completely. So now I’m pretty much have lost the account, my money, and my time dealing with a company that hides behind a false service. Please do not do business with these scam artists or you will be ripped off down the road.
