Silver Legacy Resort Casino

My family and I were planning on a holiday for a long time and we finally managed to book our trip to Silver Legacy Resort Casino. We sure have a bad fate with this place because it was the worst trip of our life. This place has bad ambience and no class. We checked in late at night because of flight delays and the check-in was quite painful because there was less staff at duty and the whole process took a lot of time to be done. We were already very tired with the long flight and wanted to rest but we had no choice but to wait in the lobby. The hotel is not at a very good location and the parking area is designed weirdly. You have to be a perfect driver to park in this overcrowded parking lot. You should not rent a car from this hotel because the vehicle we rented was defected and stopped running after a few miles. Some portions of the hotel are renovated but my room was small and old fashioned and kind of gave an 80’s vibe. Décor and furniture were outdated. The tub and sink in the bathroom seemed old and stained. The cleaning staff should be given a beating for keeping the rooms and bathrooms so dirty. The casino is a big downer as well. I was nickel and dimed at every game at the casino. They offer a discounted rate which is a scam because later they add up many other bogus fees which makes it all the more expensive than the original full rate. The buffet at the hotel is the worst of all. They need to hire new chefs to make the taste of the food better. They lack a variety of dishes which is must for a buffet and the continental food tastes extra bad. I went to the beef section to get some and they were left with almost no pieces. I asked the chef for some more pieces and he brought burnt pieces to serve. The ingredients used were not fresh either. They need to up their level when it comes to food. The biggest drawback was the smoke. Most public places are smoke-free but they don’t have any such rules which make it uncomfortable for customers like us. The resort fee is unreasonably pricey and with such lacking services it even makes it harder to pay. The check out procedure was also not very pleasant because the staff is lacking in knowledge and is not efficient enough to deal with clients properly. I highly discourage you to pick this place for a visit because it will spoil your precious holiday.
