I have sent a mail to tikona customer care last month on 26 May 2015 to disconnect their services even I have asked them when they had tried to reach me on my cellphone but they have not disconnected and they have sent me a bill of this month when I dropped a mail for explanation I received a call from them saying that I need to pay for this month and they are not going to disconnect until I pay the amount for this month they also mentioned that they tried to reach me last month for the same and I was not reachable in that case a professional would have dropped a mail to clarify and so also whenever they have called I had asked for disconnection this clearly shows us that this is a policy and truly a trick to make money. I have not been using their services since 28th May 2015 after I requested for disconnection. I request consumer court team to please intervene and investigate on Tikona Request number is as below online request number is 1-[protected]. Thanks in advance.

Dear Sir / Madam, My Tikona username is [protected] and from madipakkam, Chennai-600091, Tamilnadu. My plan is 4 mbps circuit breaker ADCB 1199 with initial payment of Rs1000 before installation. Issue started when the first bill came. Additional Rs 1000 was quoted in the bill without proper detail. When contacted the customer care he cannot explain the same and finally they disconnected the connection now. I contacted the local tikona guy who I met first for the connection. He accepted the bill amount was wrong and collected the correct first bill amount of Rs 800 from me in cash with all soft copies of bill details to his mail promising he will resolve the issue. I found he CHEATED me when I received the second bill as that Rs800 I gave is not reflecting in the bill When I tried to reach his mobile disconnects my call His name is Prabhakaran. Ph no : [protected] Initially I was promised of guaranteed maximum bill amount of Rs1499 with 4mbps speed but my first bill is more than Rs1800 and speed rarely at 4mbps. Even after raising lots of complaint against Tikona, my problem didnt consider. I have lots of connection correction request too, but Tikona is never able to provide a single day with average service even. My list of complaints in the month of june 2013 and july 2013 are as follows:- 3-Jun-2013 1-[protected]-Talked to Ashvin, I was frustrated because internet was not working since a long time, i asked to connect me with senior, he kept my call on hold for 20 min and then it disconnected. I keep facing the issue, even next time i try to talk to him, but he respond through the engineer that he is busy and will do the callback. GUYS, Never go for tickona Internet connection… Here by i would like to share my experience with TIKONA. 10Days before i have requested Tikona Internet connection through their website. I have given all the details like my address, contact number and etc. After 3 days i got a call about the enquire and they promissed that within next two days they will be giving the connections. So i cancelled the plan to take reliance or airtel and decided to continue with tickona. As they promised the second day one guy has to come to my home and installed a hardware and given me a paper (Steps), i have to follow. And as per his instruction i paid the advance + installation (Even through installation not completed) amount through credit card But i couldn’t complete the first step it self (open 1.254.254.254), it was giving an error “Page Cannot found”. I tried to call the installation guys, but no response. After that i tried to contact through customer care, but every time was getting very polish answer like we have taken the request, updated and etc, Today 4th day after they installed the hardware…still i didn’t get the Internet… Please guys, don’t ever go for TIKONA connection.. Note: Another funny thing is the guy installed the hardware in ### way.. The antina is shaking every seconds. because they don’t have a proper installation kit.. Hello I have an internet connection from Tikona Digital networks My subscriber id is [protected] It was a prepaid connection I have to make payment first only then do I get internet. Also if I used extra bytes, I will be charged for it. Last year I took a very small amount plan just to keep it active. Since the services were poor, I did not renew it this year. The billing department of Tikona Digital Networks is asking me to pay Rs 720. My question here is as per my experience, I cannot access internet even for a second, if I do not make payment. It is a prepaid connection. Then if I do not renew, they should not force me to renew and call me a defaulter just because I have not renewed the connection Whenever I told the customer care to disconnect, they tried ways and means to keep it active. But I did not make payment because I wanted to discontinue. I am asking them to send me the invoice. They are not sending me the invoice either. Hi My user ID : [protected] No connectivity during night hours and on weekend when there is little load on server. Not able to surf internet during these times. Tikona is not at all serious about their complaints. Now I feel they are intentionally not providing speed / Connectivity to save data. I have launched a complaint few days back with complaint ID 1- 1-[protected] Till now it is unresolved. Speed last night was One of Tikona Engineer visited on 19th June afternoon, tried his luck for 2 hrs. After that he also gave up saying the speed is very slow and he is not able understand the issue. While going he said that his Area Manager will come and resolve it on 20th June. Today is 21st June and till now no action has been taken on this. Have never come across any such service provider. Hopeless Tikona ! I have taken 4 Mbps plan and I am not even able to surf internet. They are providing speed of hardly 0.4Mbps during peak hours. You can imagine how they are cheating their customers. The reason is they are giving this connection from a Transmitter which is fitted in near by Society named Ambanagri Society Dhanori. This has got limited bandwidth. Hence only 6 to 7 Conection can me taken from there. But greedy Tikona has increased the customer base without increasing the Bandwidth. This is the main reason for fluctuation. I have launched lot of complaints with respect to this speed fluctuations. They make temporary arrangements for 2 Days to increase the speed and after that again the issue remains same. It is very clear they are doing it intentionally. Hi, Account # [protected] I had subscribed to Tikona service from 31-01-2015 by paying 3371/- as subscription amount for 2 months advance inclusive of 500/- security(Security had to be paid back by Tikona once I terminated the connection). The mode of payment was advance every month and the chosen plan was 1250/- per month with 4mbps speed. Citing poor services provided by Tikona i.e. most of the time their towers were down, I decided to disconnect the connection on 05-May-2015 so that I shouldn’t be charged for the next billing cycle(their billing cycle is from 07th of current month – 06th of next month) and placed request through customer care by calling them. Got a mail from them on 04-Jun-2015 citing that services have been terminated and their delivery boy took the installed infrastructure from my place and gave me a written copy of the same. On 18-Jun-2015, I get a Full and Final Settlement mail from them that my due amount is 0.0, but suddenly on 10-Jul-2015, I get a bill of 1470.56 for the cycle (07-Jun-2015 to 06-Jul-2015). Now question that arises here is that: 1. When mode of payment is advance every month and I had paid in advance for cycle (07-Apr-2015 to 06-May-2015) and placed disconnection request on 05-May-2015, then, why should the bill be generated? 2. After termination confirmation in mail on 04-Jun-2015 and hardware taken from my place on 05-Jun-2015, how come they send bill on 10-Jul-2015? When I don’t have Tikona devices installed at my place, how can I use the internet on Tikona Network(which I never did since I placed disconnection request on 05-May-2015)? 3. Out of no where. later in July end or august start, I get a notice from their legal team asking to pay the due amount. I again drop them a mail asking to resolve the issue and they again send a confirmation on 15-Aug-2015 that the amount due is 0.0 4. On 07-Sep-2015, these guys again drop a message asking to pay overdue amount and mention a number in the message. I call that number and that number comes out be a guy from Delhi court. I discuss with him and he explains that my amount is due and he will have to send a legal notice. Now, I again call Tikona care and they say your overdue amount is 0.0. 5. I used services from 31-01-2015 till 05-May-2015 that comes out to be 7 days till 06-Feb-2015 and 3 subsequent billing cycles starting 07-Feb-2015 ending 06-May-2015. Even If we apply mathematics, I have paid them Rs 5092.45(including installation charges) as bill amount for whole period which should have been 1404.5*3= 4213.5+installation charges+ amount for 7 days calculated on pro rata basis. Still I have paid more amount than required and even then that are asking for dues for the period for which I didn’t have the hardware installed. I don’t understand: 1. If Tikona has defaulted systems in place which can’t keep track of the paid bills? 2. Why they keep harassing the customer when everything has been settled in advance and I have written proof citing the same? Also, I have written to them asking for the Rs 500/- refund amount and for the past one month I am not getting any reply from them. Multiple reminders have been sent but still no reply from them. My sincere request to Tikona team is that Please resolve the issue at the earliest and close the matter or I will have no option left other than filling a case in Consumer Court. I don’t want to waste my time doing so. So, it’s my sincere request to please act appropriately and do the needful. I am attaching every proof I have w.r.t 1. Hi, Tikona is a very bad company with such a poor services. I am staying in Gurgaon, laxman vihar phase 2 and facing lots of issue. Never apply for tikona services, i have broadband connection from tikona and it does not work 15 days out of 30 days. I am fed with the services given by Tikona company. I have so many complaints against them and they are also so frequent but still they never able to resolve and i always get an sms stating that your complaint is resolved. Few of my complaint details are as follows:- 1) Not getting discount on online payment. For few months i got the discount, but from last three bills i am not getting discount while i am still making online payment and thats also before time. The request number for the same is : 1-[protected] 2) Very frequently my internet is not working at all. I have to raise complaint almost daily just to get my internet working. Even the executive visited my home corrected the issue, and when he left, just after one hour my internet again stop working. The mobile number of executive came at my home is : [protected] (he was keep asking me my internet password two three times. I did not gave him the password, i enter it myself always. He did change my password without any reason then i have to reset it to keep it secret from him. The list of frequent complaint i had to do to get the connection are as follows:- 1-[protected]-16Mar2013 1-[protected]-17Mar2013 These are only two, unfortunately i did keep the track of old ones. 3) Few days back i got the sms that if i opt for paperless billing i.e. bill will not come at home, it will directly send to my email id, then i will receive some gift, and there were big list of gifts. I opted this option, but didnt recieved any gift, i forgot i am dealing with fraud company, it their another dirty cheap trick and nothing else. I call on customer care and they said we are not tracking such things, you will recieve email. Strange thing is that, hardly anyone will recieve any gift sure.No hope for justice, this country if full of such companies, just awaking others that tikona is another fraud company. I am Unsatisfied with Tikona service. My problem is speed had adopted 599/- plan with Unlimited downloading and uploading. Speed I get it is 6kbps to 130kbps ranges with time. I have continues calling to customer care service all the technical and managers in the customer care says give us 48hours, Sir i had taken tikona service on 11th of 2009 December ensuring that your service will be good but your company Tikona is worst and fooling customer belief. All the customer care says switch off your modem for 5 min and then release ip and renew ip and then our technical person would come to your home with in 48 hours. But Sir no one came for last 6 days of my connection for the first 3 days speed i got is 319kbps then after the speed gradually decreased .I have checked my speed in tikona speed where it show 287kbps when i check in outer site network like 2wire.com my actual speed is 4 to 130 kbps ranges Sir they convienced me saing that our connection is end to end connection . You can check the screen shot hot the speed varies Today is 10 th Dec. I have used for 30 days and my screenshots are placed below So my dear friends my humble request is that please donot take the tikona service they will waste your time and money. I got 1086.59/- rupees at last. I bought a broad band connection last year from Tikona Digital Networks. The service was so bad that i called the customer care to discontinue my service. They did not do so even after repeated calling for a week or so. I also sent them an email to stop the service and refund me the money for the few months advance deposit that they had taken from me. But they kept sending me monthly bills. After a few months there technicians came and took away the company hardware and got a release receipt signed. Even after that the bills still kept coming for another 5 months or so. After a year now I get a call from a very rude guys who threatens to file a suit against me in Delhi, unless i pay the outstanding amount of Rs. 400. Mind you I have taken the service in Pune, Maharashtra and Delhi has no jurisdiction in the matter. Today again a got a call from an Advocate A.P. Singh from Delhi Civil Court, at least that’s what he said his name was. He said he is about to file a suit against me for an outstanding sum of Rs. 780. The company is an absolute fraud. The customer harassment is wide spread. I know a few people in my locality itself who have faced a similar problem with Tikona Digital Networks. I want a refund of my money as well as compensation for this harassment. Other wise i will file a criminal complaint against this company and its representative who have been harassing me.

I had submitted my application on 23rd Oct for Broad band connection vide application # xxxx along with a cheque for Rs. 500. After a week, installation enginner had come to my residence. I have been using tikona for more than 1 year now. But for the last 3 months they have irritated and frustrated me completely. I am not getting signal for even 5 hours at a time, even if there is signal, speed is so pathetic that even a single web page takes forever to load.In last 3 months I have registered at least 20 complaints with their customer “care”, but to no avail.Every time their representative wastes my time by repeating the same 4-5 guidlines mentioned in their “quick solution handbook”! “Restart router, disconnect and reconnect ur rooftop device etc etc”. I am tired of telling them that nothing of this sort works.Even asking them to send an engineer is a headache, they will try to teach you every damn trick in networking before they agree to do so. What is even worse is, after somehow they appoint an engineer for visit, the engineer himself disappears, won”t call. Now they have a new excuse for unavailability of signal for last 1 month-“some problem from backend”!! I just want to ask Tikona, what kind of incapable, unprofessional staff do you have that they have not been able to solve “some problem from backend” in 1 whole month? Or rather 3 months? And why dont you have another way to solve your customers issues and provide them the service they are paying you from their hard earned money? And lastly, they are not even disconnecting the service, when after getting tired of banging my head with their customer care, I asked them to! I had filed a request for service disconnection around 30/12/2015. But even after more than a week they have not made any move to do so, even though I was assured that I will recieve a call within 24 hours for confirmation!! I am truly tired of Tikona! I dont have any solution left!

I have been using tikona wireless broadband since 24th april ( Cust.id.- [protected] ). My selected monthly scheme was the 4mbps, 1600rs/month plan. the connection worked more or less alright for the first 2-3 days after which i starting getting speed and disconnection problems. the ensuing 3 months have been really pathetic and frustrating. The company engineer might have visited 5-6 times trying to address the technical issues with the connection, guaranteeing that the problem was resolved. Needless to say that problem never got resolved. After realising that the problem will never go, i decided to discontinue the service and filed for the disconnection during july 2nd week. Now the billing cycle starts 15th of each month and i have paid in full for this dissatisfactory service up till july 15th. I switched of the router after that (i did this on advice from their executive itself, who had come to collect a previous due amount, on or before july 15th ). It is 30th july today and regardless of my having called them up for disconnection 3-4 times they have not yet uninstalled their equipment from my residence. On top of this harassment and mental torture from their side, i received a call from tikona today asking me to pay another 770/- rs for the last 15 days ( for usage after 15th july ) after which they will uninstall their device.Now I had not been using their service for the last 15 days and i had filed for disconnection before 15th july and i reminded them about this fact. I was then threatened that the company will send me a legal notice if i failed to pay this amount. The company is running on terms and conditions that are not properly dictated to the customer. They are asking for money for a service that i have not been using. I am a post graduate student and the internet is one my primary resources for education, entertainment, etc, so it has been a nightmare using this service for the past 3 months and so after being mentally tortured and harrased, they are trying to extort money from me.

I have raised a disconnection request on 17th June 2017. I was told my net will be disconnected in 15 days. Reasons: In between April-May 2017 my Ticket for poor network connection was open for 35 days without resolution Tikona was down in April 2017 for 15 days Tikona was down in May 2017 for 7 days Tikona was down in June 2017 for more than 10 days In the last 3 months with so many tickets open, not a single technician came to my house to check my problem For connection, they process it within 24 hours, but for disconnection they take min 15 days…why ??? Overall i am a one year old customer with Tikona, in the last one year…Tikona was down for more than 70 days in last one year. I have already more than 50 calls with Tikona executives which has caused me lot of mental harassment during the time when internet was not working. Now for last 17 days i am getting calls every day from Tikona, asking reason why i want to disconnect, instead of prompt customer service they harass you giving excuses, trying to give you false promises & assurances – asking you to give them one more chance for providing service. My question is when a person has decided to disconnect, why Tikona is not acting promptly…why so many calls and questions for disconnections.. Now on 07th July, they are saying they will take another 15 days for disconnection as there is technical process involved… Also they are asking for 1 month rent for the service i have not used since 17th June. Such a fraud company, and more bad customer support…who torture their customers when they want to disconnect. Every day you will get 5-6 sms for paying advance bill, when you have opted for disconnection. Please help.

I have sent a written communication to this fraud company over a year to STOP the services after clearing all dues. Have the email for the same. However to the biggest shock of my life, they are still billing me. The icing on the cake, they are threatening me by the help of their goon recovery agents that they will drag me to court and send a summon etc. I request the Consumer bodies to scrutinize the scrupulous actions of such fraud companies who exist just to suck the hard earned money of innocent consumers. This mental harassment and trauma is unbearable and I am forced to write this review to protect the customers from this Fraud company Anurag Chaturvedi

I have subscribed to tiokna internet connection, 4MBPS plan (user id [protected]). The funny thing here is since the day I got the connection the maximum speed I”m getting is 0.02 MBPS! Like any other customer, I called their customer care and raised a complaint. I was promised that the issue will get resolved within 24 hours. Its been a week and no action from Tikona. I called them again and again but no use. Today when I told them I”m going to post about this irresponsible behavior, the customer care executive Mr. Rahul Sawant (hope its his real name) tells me that he doesnt care. thats how they respond. By the way they have already taken the money for next 3 months. What hurts me most is not the speed, but the way Tikona bahves with its customers. So my sincere advice to fellow citizens is please stay away from Tikona. There are tons of good good service providers out there. Its not just about the money, its about the mental peace. Never seen such a worst service providers in my life so far. PS: I”m facing this issue since 14th October 2015 i.e the day I got the connection. Today is 22nd october 2015, not even a single technician from Tiokana has addressed the issue so far.

I have taken tikona wi bro connection in april 2010. I have taken unlimited plan ‘f599’ per month of total amount rs685 per month. Tikona service men told that i will receive full speed 512kbps. But. . The speed was worst. I had logged many complaint on customer care site and on telephone frequently but i always get bad response. Customercare always said that they(Tikona) are going to improve with in couple of days. From june mid week, the connection was disabled. While asked to tikona customercare officer he said that its undershifting. But after 15 days we asked for removal of their sevice(Disconnection) . But he told that ” we are going to improve u can check on tikona site”, we also asked tikona customer care that i havenot use service for 25 days, and if now i ‘logged in’ you would charge us for 1 day, so we would not log, but he assure that “tikona would never charge while repairing period as not giving proper service of full speed”. Due to customercare officers assurance, we loged in. I was looking forward for speed 4 days i tried to get speed but all in vain. I cannot get their assured speed. Finally second time in july i gave complaint for disconnection. As their is no other procedure in tikona for disconnect other than telephonic customer care, this disconnection i had done on 18 july as well as on 24 july. (Tikona) they said on telephone to pay their bill of july for disconnection. So i had paid their july bill also on 5th august. Even then tikona did not disconnected connection and continue to bill for unlimited usage. The tikona customer care requested me to see that connection is working, by logging in on my id, so then i tried for connection speed by logging in but again same problem. And i again had telephonic talk for disconnection. Tikona assured that we had been disconnected and their wifro assembly will be taken back in couple of days. After some days again august bill given to us. Whereas in july i had already been said for disconnection and as stated above i had logged in tikona by their request for connection test In september their technician came for taking out tikona wibro assembly. Even then tikona till now are charging us each month bill. With no usage for 4 month tikona still attaching each month increased bill, we didnot have even their assembly for 3 months. And on 24 november a person mobile no [protected] named manasi called me “to give amount of rs600 for settlement then tikona will provide me letter of complete bill paid and disconnection succesful”. But still they are not done as per assurance, and not talking after certain time callingon same mobile. This is pure cheating. Pls they had to be punished. I want justice.
