US Government Treasury Grant

On 5/28/14 I received a phone call from a lady, who didn’t speak very good English . She stated that I had been selected to receive a $9000.00 Government grant. She gave me what she called- a security code ID CJ418. Said I would need this number to get my grant. And gave me another number-206-855-6792 ask me to call this number and ask to speak to an account manager named Steve. I called the guy at the number she gave me. He gave me the options to receive the money one of two ways. Western Union or direct deposit to my account. I told him Western Union and he said in order for me to get the money I would have to get a Green Dot money pack card and deposit $200.00 for security reasons. I ask him if this was a scam and he stated No. He also said that I would have to stay on the phone with him the whole time I was getting the card and depositing the money cause if I didn’t I couldn’t get the money. The more I ask about him and his info he kept repeating to me that he would stay on the phone with me and help me step for step and that he would not let me down. I spoke with my husband about all of this guys bull**** and had a feelin that this was exactly what this was bull****. We looked it up on the Web and found this website and thought that it would be in all citizens interest that they heard about this. Cause if you are like a lot of people in this world barely making a livin, then $200.00 is not worth losing over a stupid scam. Hope this helps the next person who they try to scam.
