USA-SPEC

Bought a USB adapter for my car so I could play my iphone on my car radio. Had a professional install this unit. Right after install, I heard a high pitched noise from the unit, took it back to the installer and he told me that he had had problems with this companies devices and changed to a different company due to lack of support and bad workmanship. I contacted USA SPEC during the warranty period and they told me it was probably interference. One would think they would have designed the thing not to have problems with that sort of thing, but I guess not. They dismissed themselved from all responsiblity. Soon after that the left channel went out completely. I called them and they told me to send it to them not mentioning what they would do, I naturally assumed they would fix the thing and send it back to me. Well was I wrong. I recieved a notification that they would fix the device for me but would charge me for the reapair and the shipping. I wrote an email to them telling them to “stand up and get behind your products” Guess they didnt like that, they kept the unit, I did not pay them. This USB adapter cost me $126.00 plus $110.00 to have it installed and uninstalled. So… they have the thing and my money. I dont think its very safe to deal with this company or their products.
