Taking a baby out to a dentist is always stressful and you want the baby to be happy and comfortable. When my toddler’s first tooth came out, I wanted to make sure everything was alight took her to the dentist. However, I did not want her first dental appointment to be a stressful one and did not want to take her to another stern dentist. With that in mind, I booked an appointment with the Winnisquam Dental and I was told they are every good with the kids. I, for once, felt very comfortable when I walked because they had a very pleasing and charming décor with vintage charm to them. The nurse also immediately made us feel comfortable. However, right from the time the actual appointment started, I could see nothing special in particular to determine that there was any special arrangement for the kids. The dentist gave her a regular check up but even that made my toddler cry out. To make matters, worse, the dentist looked at me in a manner as if it was my fault that my son was crying and that I was not able to hold him properly. I am not even sure they gave a proper checkup and we were just left off with a date for another appointment at a later date, with no word whatsoever about how my baby’s teeth would grow or develop. I spoke to my husband who also suggested that we take him to another dentist and when we did, he did tell us that one of his teeth would grow slightly out of place later after a very careful examination, but that it was nothing to worry about. In fact, he was more professional and yet gentle than the previous dentist at Winnisquam Dental. We are definitely not going there again.
