Report Filed: Sharp Aquos Sharp Aquos Led LC-60le810un refurbished doesnt not turn on anymore after 10 months of light use. Called and told unit had 12 months warranty and would be replaced because of common issue. Now im told Internet!!
Sharp Aquos Led LC-60le810un refurbished doesnt not turn on anymore after 10 months of light use. Called and told unit had 12 months warranty and would be replaced because of common issue.They called back 4 days later and Now im told it is out of warranty and not covered, only had 30day warranty and could exchange for another unit for $350 with 30day warranty. Sharp obviuosly does not stand behind their products. 30 day warranty for $2000 unit that should last atleast 5 years is ridiculous. I will never buy another sharp product ever. Google sharp aquos tvs and found pages of same problems occuring to many other customers. When I called sharp the first person i talked to seemed very helpful but then as soon as i was tranfered to the claim department it was another story, not willing to help and at times also ignoring my questions. Very rude and bad support and service. Sharp is not a quality name anymore. I have other led and lcd tvs, samsung and emerson and even element tv i have never had issues with. I hope that if i can save atleast 1 person from wasting their money on a sharp product then writing this report was well worth it. Oh And I was not impressed the the quality of image and sound this tv produced. The image was ok and the sound quality was really bad. Does not have support for video files and the web browser is useless. Sharp tvs cant even compare to my Samsung LED..
