Report Filed: Smallest Digicams – Secure2U – I4U. Cancelled an existing confirmed order without notice or explanation after the price went up on an item. Internet!!
I located this company as a source for a small 3MP camera. They had the lowest price by far so I ordered three cameras and received a confirmation web page of my order which I saved a copy of. By the next day I had not received a confirmation email so I wrote to find out what was wrong and got no response. Three days later I wrote again and was told my order was being researched. The answer came back that the order had been cancelled and that the price was now $80 more per camera than the price I had purchased them for. Seems if they had mis-priced the cameras that I would have at least received and email and explanation to that effect. Instead they chose to just cancel the order and leave me to wonder. The cameras were intended as gifts for three small children who are now very disappointed after having been told they were on the way and now had to be told they would not be arriving at all.
