Unfair Employee TreatmentThe manager, whose legal status is questionable, gives preferential treatment to his also illegal relatives and those who are related to him by marriage. I had been there over a year and had wanted to start waiting tables. Instead, he gave the open server hours to his step-niece–who has only been there a few months. This happens all the time. There are employees who had to work there for at least two years before getting moved out to the floor, but his relatives get whatever job(s) they want, and also get all the hours.Unsanitary PracticesFriday nights, the restaurant has an all you can eat walleye special. The entire night, the raw fish sits out in a non-removable cooling bin (which isn’t on), and is exposed to not only the heat, but anything else that flies around the kitchen. It is left uncovered and by the time each piece gets put in the fryer, it’s dry and nasty looking.
