This school is awful. I was under the impression that because I was going to an accredited school I was getting a good education. That was not the case. That just ment that they could charge more than any other cosmetology school in the state of Michigan. I spend $20,000 and revived an education that is not up to the industry standards. I now have to relearn everything. When I was supposed to get a refund check after I graduated they kept the rest of my money and said that technically I owed them 56 hours and the instructed should not have let me graduate even though when I graduated I had 1510 hours, and that they would just keep the money and call it a draw, so I didn’t have to come back for the 56 hours. The instructors don’t care about teaching the students up to industry standards. Some of them have never even worked in a salon and the ones that have only have a year or less experience. They don’t teach proper techniques because they themselves do not know them. After doing some more research I found out that most of their graduates can not be employed in a salon due to the poor education they got. I should have just flushed $20,000 down the drain and it would have been better spent. The most alarming thing is when you call them they just don’t care.
